The Bat Story!!!!

My Story Is:

Bruce Wayne, the only son of wealthy philanthropist Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha, was playing outside with a childhood friend, when he fell into an abandoned well, breaking his arm.  His father pulled him out and set the arm, and put him to bed, but he had recurring nightmares about the bats that came out of the darkness, and into the light where the 8 year old boy was sitting, cradling his injured arm, after he had these nightmares his father visited him

Thomas Wayne, his wife, Martha, and their 8 year-old son, Bruce, were coming out of The Gotham Opera House at 10:47 p.m., which was  showing Mefistofele at the time of the murder, they left early due to Bruce being frightened by the bat-like costumes, giving Bruce the additional guilt of leading his parents to Chill.  As the years go on, Bruce admits that his parents would still be alive today if they had seen The Mark of Zorro at the Monarch Theater.

As they stepped onto Park Row (now called Crime Alley), a thug named Joe Chill (a hitman hired by gangster Lew Moxon) armed with a gun approached them from the shadows to kill them.  With Bruce watching,

Chill shot and killed Thomas Wayne in cold blood when he protected his wife and then Martha as she screamed for help, Chill was said to have said "This'll shut you up",  but runs as he hears people coming towards them.  As Bruce kneels down, holding his Fathers hand, Thomas looks up to him and says "Bruce...don't be afraid."   The last words he ever heard  from his father.

Bruce, traumatized by the deaths of his parents, would never be the same.  Alfred the Wayne Butler, was given sole custody of the boy and brought him up as his own, but Bruce never forgave himself for that fateful night.  As he blamed himself for his parents death.

After witnessing the murder of his parents as a young boy, Bruce Wayne dedicated his life to fighting the darkness that claimed his family.   Starting at the age of 14, Bruce began to train with brilliant minds on the planet to learn about Science, Biology, Criminology, and other areas that would help him become the World's Greatest Detective.  Using his vast financial resources and relentlessly driven by a vision of what he could achieve, Bruce set out across the world to train his body and mind.   As he became an unparalleled martial artist, Bruce also honed his intellect, becoming a strategic genius and one of the world’s greatest detectives…  He disappeared for over 7 years, and while he was gone, he met up with a man, a man named Ra's Al Ghul

Bruce trained with this man and learned various degrees of martial arts, and the ways of the ninja.  Bruce also fell in love with Ra's Al Ghul's Daughter, her name Talia.

The two of them spent many a night together, until he had to leave to head back to Gotham....But while they were together, Talia became pregnant, but she did not tell Bruce, as she feared he would not want the responsibility of a family, so she let him leave and head back to Gotham, but before he left, he swore that he would return for her.

He arrived back in Gotham, and immediately went down to the cave where he had his first encounter with the bats, and began to map out his destiny.  He began to set up a place where he could work from a "Batcave" and began to put together an alter ego, that would frighten any man.  That was when Alfred asked him "Why Bats Master Bruce?".  Bruce's reply "Bats frighten me. It's time my enemies shared my dread." So this is when the legend was born.

Upon his return, Bruce finds out that he was declared dead by Alfred, and he needs to bring himself back into the fold, and take over his Father's company.  So he heads to Wayne Enterprises to regain control of his company, and use the vast wealth and knowledge of its R&D department.  So Bruce makes an unannounced visit....

And thus he was thrust back into the world of Wayne Enterprises, but during this time he never forgot about Talia, and while he was on a mission in London, unbeknownst to him, Talia was also there, ready to spring a little surprise on him.  She transformed her loyal men of the League of Assassins into bats using Doctor Langstroms formula, and had them attack Batman and bring him to her, and the surprise was his son, Damian.    It was at this time he questioned her, why had she waited and not told him, her reasoning was that she was afraid he wouldn't stay with her, so she had the child, trained him to be one of the League of Assassins, and asked for Bruce to take him back to Gotham with him and train him in the ways of the Bat.  Bruce agreed, but under one condition, that she stayed also, and become his wife.  She accepted and they have been together ever since (I know what you are all saying and thinking, they aren't married in the comics, I know that, I just thought it would be a great twist.....)  To this day Bruce and Damian fight crime side by side as Batman and Robin.  Talia's and Bruce's marriage was a tumultuous one at best, and after a few years she left and went back to her Father's side, it has been said, that she killed her Father and now is the head of the organization that he once commanded, she is the League of Assassins.

It was at this moment, that Bruce realized that crime wasn't just a familiar face in Gotham, but it was a world wide occurrence.  He thought long and hard about this issue, and then decided that crime needed to be fought not only in Gotham but across the globe.  Since that time, he has developed Batman Inc., a global organization publicly funded by Bruce, who acts as its leader in his secret identity as Batman. Their mission is to turn Batman's crime-fighting agenda and ideology into a world-wide presence. Bruce hand-selects and trains international vigilantes to each act as his representative in their own country, swearing them into the established values with an oath.

From that moment on, Talia and Bruce have gone up against each other, the most recent battle, where he witnessed his son's death, at the hand of Heretic, a clone of Damian, sent forth to destroy Batman, but instead he chose to kill Damian.

Having lost his Son, Batman would never be the same.  He set out to end "Leviathan" once and for all, and little did he know, that "Leviathan" was in fact, Talia. One was going to die, but could he really kill his one and only Love, no, he couldn't, so when they fought in the Batcave, Talia was killed by Spyral Agent Kate Kane

Having lost both his Beloved Talia and his Son, Bruce is now in a state of mind he has never been in before, he is lost, and only the Batfamily will be able to bring him back from the abyss.......

It is at this moment in time that Selina finds out about what is going on in Bruce’s life.  She realizes that he needs to have someone there, to help him get through this.  The last time he lost someone, it nearly drove him over the edge, made him darker, more violent, that time was when the Joker killed Jason.  He blamed himself for that, and he almost spiraled out of control until another bird came into his life, Tim Drake.  That was his saving grace, but now, there is no little Robin to tether him back to reality, Alfred has tried everything, but to no avail, as Bruce has now locked himself in the Batcave, and is taking out his frustrations, his loss, in the darkness, the darkness that will eventually devour him.  That is until Selina shows up, not as Catwoman, but as herself, the friend she knows he needs, and she will stay with him, comfort him, “Hold Him Together”.
