The Butterfly Effect

A tiny butterfly flapping it's wings today may lead to a devastating hurricane weeks from now.

The smallest decision can dramatically change the future.

Your actions will shape how the story unfolds.

Your story is one of many possibilities.

Choose your actions carefully.

Warnings: Contains spoilers to the game Until Dawn , and 21+ mature, possibly triggering themes. Also, this is my Sam, meaning that there will be a back story to her, more then provided in U.D, and an after story too, both written by me. HOWEVER, I will be keeping Sam to as much canon as possible. I also encourage you to read my rules, down in the about author section. Also, in the spirit of Until Dawn, and other amazing games *coughcoughLifeIsStrangecough*, what your character does, big or small, will effect the roleplay. Boom. The butterfly effect.

Samantha Giddings

Sammy {Joshua}

Sam has light blonde hair, fair skin, and hazel eyes with green flecks. She's 5'1" and 117 pounds all in all. Her build is more athletic, which isn't something that she is self-conscious of.

There are smaller details to notice- such as wearing stark colors with small patterns, boots, liking accessories that are more practical than anything. Her attention to details is even reflected on her nails- during colder times, they are painted blue with white snowflakes. Right now, they are red with gold leaf patterns. And for other makeup? Dark red lipstick works just fine.

Sam is diligent, considerate and adventurous, made obvious right away. She is level-headed, compared to her friends, and a pacifist yet has a strong personality. She will still fight for her friends and herself, not letting fear take control of her, her fear being of hallucinations and the supernatural. She also has a love for nature and animals, becoming a vegan.

In the end, Sam is not afraid to be who she is. She is brave and strong-willed, resourceful and resilient, making her a survivor.

-Her Early Childhood-

{Created by me and is non-canon to the game}

Her earliest memory was of hiking out into the woods, her mother on her left, and her father on the right. They would tell stories, express how their days went. Mt. Rainier was a favorite because it seemed like a jungle. Like all parents, they liked to hear what she wanted during these hikes. She thought of how other kids at pre-school had siblings. Friends outside of school. She thought of the wild animals she would feed trail mix and the larger families that she saw. "I want a little sister!" Sam had said, smiling widely, one of her front teeth missing. Her parents smiled. Christmas came, and all of a sudden, her mother's stomach was getting bigger. "What's wrong with Mommy?" Sam would ask, and her father gave her a secret smile. "Well, you're getting a sister."

Sam was so glad. She remembers walking around pre-school, telling all the other kids about her sister. One day, when she came home, her mother was crying in the other room. "What's wrong with Mommy?" Sam asked. But this time, the news was not so happy. "Sam, the baby is gone." Something inside Sam told her not to ask how the baby was gone. She would wonder about it at night. Was the baby lost? Her eyes would flicker outside, and out into the shadows of the woods. Did something, or someone takes the baby? Would it take her too? Her fears grew when her parents turned on the news. Stories about missing children chilled her to the bone. It haunted her thoughts. What happened to the children who went missing? She thought back to other stories, such as Hansel and Gretel, where the children almost got eaten.

Was the baby taken to be gobbled by some monster? Nightmares came, but so did the day. Slowly, Sam grew up, and she realized her mother had a miscarriage. Her childhood fears of some monsters faded away.

- Growing up -

{non canon}

Sam grew up slightly quirky, but comfortable with who she was. She went on hiking, bonding with animals, and imagining saving their habitats. Sam may not have gotten a sister by blood, but her best friend was Hannah Washington, and through Hannah, she met Beth and Josh Washington, Chris, Mike, Matt, Emily, Jessica, and Ashley. School was easier with her friends by her side, and winter break of senior year, they all went to the lodge owned by Hannah's parents.

Black Wood Mountain

2 - 2 - 2014

The wind was howling outside, and the night was dark. A silhouette hung in the trees, as inside, a group of teenagers joked around. Emily was chatting up a storm. "Oh my god! I can't believe you actually did this." Jess tried to shush Emily as Sam shook her head. "Don't you guys think this is a little bit cruel?" Jessica was immediately protesting against Sam. "Oh, come on. She deserves it." Jessica said, her voice a slight whisper above the normal as her head tilted. Sam could fight back too, her brows furrowed, and her disapproving expression perfectly clear as she stated her counter-argument. "It's not her fault that she has a huge crush on Mike-"

"Hannah's the ones making the moves on him. I'm just looking out for my girl, Em." Jessica said as she backed out of the kitchen, away from Sam, and on the countertop drunk-passed out, Josh and Chris. Mike and Emily followed after Jessica into the back of the lodge. "Just because he's class Prez doesn't mean he belongs to everyone... Mike is my man." Emily said out loud as if making a point to Sam too. "Hey, Em."  Mike interrupted her. "I'm not anybody's man."

Sam rushed after the three into the other room, where Mike and Matt were. Emily's voice got sing-songy. "Whatever you say, Darling!" Sam breezed past them and went upstairs to another hallway. "Hannah!" Sam called out. But it was too late. Hannah was in the other room, talking to Mike while her 'friends' were hiding everywhere, watching Mike try to 'seduce' her.

A giggle interrupted them, and Hannah was startled. Sam burst into the rum. "Hannah!" Sam saw as the others went out of their hiding spaces. Mike was coming up with a half-assed apology, but on the other hand, Sam was trying to calm her down.

"Hannah, hey, honey... Don't... it's just a..." Finally, Sam snapped at Mike. "Mike! -" Hannah ran out of the room as Sam called after her. " -Stupid prank." The door shut. Sam turned to the others. "You guys are jerks. You know that?" She then followed after Hannah. "Hannah!" Sam called, as Hannah ran into the storm outside, into the forest.

The others made excuses as Beth, Hannah's twin ran after her into the storm. Sam turned as Mike asked if they should follow after the twins.

"Y'know, I kinda think you're the LAST person she wants to see right now, Mike."

And that was the last time they saw both the twins.

Black Wood Mountain

2 - 2 - 2014

Sam was listening to the radio cut in and out on the bus. She looked outside, as a storm, not unlike the one from a year ago, danced in the night. She played the video Josh had sent them.

"Well hello friends and fans... alright let's do that again...`Alright. Well, hello friends and fans! It's beyond awesome to have you guys all back this year. Umn, first off, I gotta say I am super excited to welcome all my pals back to the annual Blackwood winter getaway! So. Umn... Let me just let you know... let's take a moment to address the elephant in the room for a second... I know you're all probably all worried about me... and I know it's gonna be tough on all of us going back after what happened last year... but I just want you all to know... it means... it means so much to me, that we're doing this. And I- I know it would mean so much to Hannah and Beth that we're all still here together. For the sake of my sisters, you know? Okay... so! Let's party like we're fucking pornstars and make this one a trip we will never forget, alright? Yes!"

The bus stopped and Sam got off at the gate of Black Wood Pines. She pushed the gate open, onto a beaten path that would lead up to the lodge. Something snapped, like a snake, and she looked around, chills running down her spine. "Hello? Is someone there?" No one answered, so she continued on, her boots crunching in the snow, only to see another bone chilling thing. A sign with the words 'The Past Cannot be changed' written in red.

After climbing a fence, and seeing a squirrel, she goes over to the cable cars to meet Chris. She almost goes through his things, but decides against it, and turns to see Chris. She follows him as he guides her to a shooting range before they have a nice conversation. She notes how hard things must be for Josh. "I've... I've kinda been worried." Sammy states as Chris and her go up the cable cars. When they reach the lodge, she meets up with Ashely and let's Chris break in with the help of Josh.

Work In Progress

{Created by me, non-canon}

Sam still has nightmares of it all. From the baby being lost to Hannah and Beth vanishing, to the wendigo and the lodge. Even Josh haunts her dreams, in the form of The Psycho. {Will be added onto throughout role plays.}

R E  L A T I O N S H I P S

Hannah and Beth Washington

Hannah and Sam were best friends since the early years of elementary. Sam knew of Hannah's crush on Mike but did nothing of it. Hannah was her best friend, and who was she to judge? Sam was also the only one to protest outright and try to warn Hannah of the fatal prank. Despite being close, Hannah is merciless when a wendigo. It is also shown that Beth and Sam were close friends too.

Josh Washington

{More will be added/developed throughout thread}

Having known the twins meant knowing Josh too. His loving character and overall joking made Sam feel relax. Out of respect to Beth and Hannah, she tried not to make a move on him. After their disappearance, the two seemed to grow closer in the grief. When he 'betrayed' her, in that awful 'prank', Sam felt the need to distance herself. Even if she didn't want to.  She reveals in a police report that she "thought we had a connection."

Christopher Hartley

Chris and Sam are good friends. She met him when she was younger too, thanks to Josh, and appreciates how he keeps Josh 'in line.' They have friendly conversations and she also seems to support him, and his relationship with Ashely.

Emily Davis

Emily and Sam are also good friends! Part of Sam feels like perhaps that Emily could have been kinder, even more so when it came to the prank, she still holds Emily in high regards. They still talk to each other.

Ashely Brown

While the two aren't the closest, they are still friends. They haven't known each other as long as Sam has known the others. Sam also wants Chris to be happy with her. She hasn't spoken directly to Ashely in a while but is glad to hear about her from Chris.

Michael Monroe

While Mike seems to be a jerk in the beginning, and Sam doesn't like how he humiliated Hannah, in the end, they become closer. This is due to the fact that they had to rely on each other for survival. After everything happened, she and Mike kept in touch.

Jessica Riley

Sam will openly admit that she does not like Jessica. She doesn't like how Jessica is, even more so when it came to Hannah. She doesn't like how Mike dumped Emily for Jessica. She doesn't like how sexual Jessica can be, or how brash she can be. However, she still cares for Jessica's well being.

Her relationship with him is simple: As long as he tries not to fight with Mike, she seems fine. He and her aren't the closest, but they are still friends.

  • The situation was escalating, and escalating fast as voices rose above the usual tone of conversation and transitioning more and more into full on shouting and being a little too close to each other for personal comfort. A hurricane of harsh and hoarse insults travelled continuously back and forth between the group while Chris and Ashley, along with William and Jared, kind of stayed out of it. In fact, both William and Jared, seeing as they weren’t part of this little spat in any way shape or form, slipped out the door whilst the others were busy bickering. And all that alcohol coursing through their systems? That certainly didn’t help out at all.
Out of all of them Sam was the least intoxicated, but she seemed to give in to these primal urges to fight, to argue, all the same.

His face mottled crimson, his eyes popped, his neck strained as Josh pressed past Mike finally, standing face to face with Emily as she now facing him too. His words were spat out with the ferocity and rapidity of machine gun fire.

”You know what, Emily? Fuck you. You are being the biggest bitch on planet earth right now, so back...the fuck off. You aren’t going to talk about my sister like that again okay, understand?”
Without wiping the spit from her face she leant closer, perfectly composed and uttered just four little words, "Your sister's a whore." His fuse simmered and fizzed like a firework in a chill autumn breeze, then he exploded with unrestrained alcohol empowered fury. She remained as still as a cadaver and just as pallid, unblinking against his onslaught as Josh literally threw himself forwards at full charge. That’s about when all went black for Joshie boy. His vision swam with black dots which, upon vanishing, left a sour and bitter pain in his mouth, and he could taste blood. Also, it appeared as if he’d fallen down. Looking up he sees the main bitch with a barely concealed smirk whom, after making sure Josh could see and hear her, turned on her heals and walked away as if strolling in the park on a fine day. "Better take care of that lip, honey." She mocked.
Shaking his fist in pain from colliding with Josh’s thick skull Mike shrugged his shoulders, offering a lowly whispered apology before leaving with Emily. Jessica followed shortly afterwards in disbelief over how quickly it all went to shit. She, in contrast to Em and Mike, appeared somewhat distraught over the events, but would follow Em regardless. They were best friends after all.
Josh remained on his ass as Chris and Ashley, and presumably Sam, all came rushing to his side.

  • A month. Give or take a day or two, and that was all it was that separated the two. A month apart of not knowing if or not the other was okay, only that they were alive. And that's the important part, right? To stay living. Yet life was so much more than that, and Josh wouldn't truly consider himself living, not now anyway. And each day he would think on what he did, on how his, up until very recently, unknown schizophrenia, a most awful mental condition, had been adding new dangerous ideas and seeding a new personality and muddling up the rest. New sparks of ideas that once he would have dismissed as bizarre started to grow roots, deep roots, they started to make sense in one revolutionary eureka moment after another, cascading out of control, luring him further and further from the self he once knew, until he was so deep down that rabbit hole there was no doubt in his mind anymore. The prank would SOLVE everything.

But how could he possibly rationalize his delusions to her, to tell her that the prank was supposed to prop her up as the heroine of the horror story. How he intended for her and Chris to be the main characters, and for the rest to stumble blindly in the cold, being nothing more than the side characters that he intended for them to be in his elaborate little 'horror prank/horror movie'. He never wanted to hurt her. He wanted her to get all of the glory, all of the spotlight, while at the same time getting back at the bastards who were the cause of his sisters deaths. But then, that's not how it went down, and when he realized that...that's when he flipped.

Fast forward a month and here he is, alive because Sam told him about Hannah still being alive. She saved him, even though he caused her so much mental and physical grief.

"Y-yeah." He stammered as he tried sitting in the bed upright, at which points his muscles would become stiff and threaten to cramp. Continuing he says weakly, "And I'm okay."

A moment passes and he struggles to collect his words, saying finally with a little more power, "And yeah, that's be sweet if you'd bring her something to eat. She likes all the same vegan crap that you do, remember?" A brief chuckle escapes his lips and he swings his legs sideways to dangle off the side of the bed, facing her fully.

"My dad won't talk to me. Won't really come down here either, not even to check on mom.

    I....I'm glad you did.

    And Sam. Sammy....

    I'm sorry."

Those two words he'd been meaning to get off his chest for this entire, well there they were.

But it didn't help him feel any better. He still felt as shitty as before.

  • "Yeah, Cochise, dab me good." Josh quipped with a quick smile as Chris grabbed the wet piece of cloth with a joyous snicker before promptly placing it on Josh's leg, giving some relief to the pain searing through the spot. He'd never wax again. Women were champs for doing this to themselves and he swore to never ever pressure a woman to shave because hot damn, that shit is painful. Like ripping off the largest band aid imaginable. After a few dabs with the wet cloth and with multiple droplets of water running down his skin Josh decided it was quite enough and before soaking up the whole bed he muttered a quick thanks to his bro before his pant leg was folded back the right way and the rag was added to the pile of garbage, now almost reaching a feet tall.
"I gotta take a quick break. Gotta stretch them legs, you know." Emily says, standing and trailing aimlessly around the room whilst the rest of the gang continues with the game.
Josh gets ready to spin that bottle and it finally lands on Sam. Josh’s heart kind of makes a leap of joy, but before the intended victim is able to react there is a sudden and unexpected "Ugh!", as everybody turns their heads and finds Emily standing there holding a small note in her hands whilst a gesture of disgust spreads across her face. Her nose wrinkles, and she draws her head backwards before finally quickly and decisively rips the paper in two.
Josh looks at the two pieces on the floor, reading some of those words as Hannah’s writing.

"Hey, that's my sisters! Don't fuck around with her stuff." Josh growls.
"Well your sister needs to stay the hell away from my boyfriend, okay? Can’t she get someone more in her league, you know?” Em stabs back.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Josh asks sharply, sliding off the bed.
“You know what it means, Josh. But bottom line is, tell her not to go jabbing after my BF, m’kay?”

“No, I don’t get what you mean. And I’d appreciate it if you tell me what you mean. Right fucking now, M’KAY?” Josh feels a strong hand placed on his chest as his advance is halted, and looking sideways he finds Mike, stopping him.
“Come on man, calm down.” A silent warning. Mike might not agree with his girlfriend but he certainly wasn't gonna let someone chew her out, or possibly harm her. Gotta protect yo woman. Josh struggles to get through, upon which Mike only intensifies his hold.

A moment passes and everyone knew the atmosphere in the room had suddenly changed, and not for the better….

Emily continues behind her boyfriend, spitting meanly, "What I mean is Hannah is sub-par. With a chest as flat as a landing strip.

    I got some words of my own for her. They are as follows;

    'Roses are red,
    Violets are blue,
I feel bad for the guys,
That end up with you.' "

  • Removed.
Perhaps the quintessential word to describe Melinda Washington’s entire existence right about now. Or, like Sam had put it in her mind, like following and meeting with a ghost. She was there, but only in body, as both mind and body had left her entirely, leaving her a hollow shell, and when meet with Samantha Giddings, a girl she’d known and cared about for years, she just didn’t care.

Sam was skimmed past, only looked on momentarily with a pair of glazed over and bloodshot eyes that indicated serious sleep deprivation. Not as much as a spark of recognition or care. All of that had been poured into Josh.
However as little Melinda seemed to care about Sam she did hope it would bring some joy to Josh, or at least for him to find some closure. And she herself intended on speaking with the girl, to prod her about what really happened that night. She got little out of her son, and the media was all just full of lies intent on smearing the entire Washington name all for the sake of money.
Whilst Sam went inside Melinda sat down on the bench outside and when the door fully closed, she crashed against the wall, closing her tired eyes for a moment.

On the other side of the white wood Josh remained as he was, head buried in his pillow with his eyes staring blankly ahead into the wall in front of him. The door, which suddenly springs wide open, bathing him in the light from the hallways, has him snapping, as if out of a dream, and he stares in disbelief at the person who just entered while the door swings to shut behind her.
    Sammy? Could it be?
Josh could tell by the way that she walks that she’s insecure, frightened perhaps even; her shoulders are hunched over as if hiding the treasure inside of her. Her footsteps are light and timid as she slowly approaches, watching him through skittish wide eyes. Josh can only imagine what might be going through her mind, thoughts like, ‘what does she think of me?’ ‘Does she still like me?’
Josh sits straight up in the bed as he tries to open his lips to speak, although mouth hanging open his words seem stuck in his throat and he’s unable to speak for an entire minute, his eyes reading those words over and over again. His favorite quote. His favorite girl.
    He finally managed to speak.

    “H-Hi Sammy….”

  • And the doors closed and the helicopter took off into the air, embracing the skies.
Gaining altitude rapidly, Josh kept his eyes on the police officer opposite him, giving a quick and rather silent ‘thank you’ as the treeline outside his right window began to vanish, replaced instead by a sea of white and green as thousands upon thousands of snow covered fir trees came into view. Something off however in the not so far away distance, a large column of black smoke could be seen in the not so far away distance, rising off towards the heavens and blanketing it in darkness.
Trailing it to it's source made the young Washington’s eyes almost pop right outta their sockets. Where his parents lodge should be was only beams of wood, blackened and charred from where flames had licked at them. The ruins were still smoking and he could see, even at this altitude, the faintest glow of ember as the chopper maneuvered around the creaking wreck which had once been the Washington’s own little retreat where they’d been to spend most of their holidays. Christmas, easter, birthdays, you name it. Now it was all destroyed.
Nothing had escaped the fire, glass littered the floor where the windows had broken and the metal base of the grand chandelier lay blackened and twisted on the ground and even the basement was reduced to a pile of rubble.
Josh followed the scene with his eyes until the flying machine suddenly flew out of viewing range and he was left wondering just what became of his parents lodge.
"What...what happened?" He suddenly asked with remarkable little speech impediment, turning to face the officer, who in turn, faced the young male.

Yes. What did happen? Because that little bit happened well over a month ago and now here he was, lying in some hospital room as devoid of beauty as he was of hope.
Its walls are simply cream, not peeling or dirty, just cream. There is no decoration at all save the red curtain blocking out the sun. The room has an undertone of bleach hanging in the air, and the floor is simple grey. At the far end are windows in brown metal frames, only openable at the top and most sunlight blocked by the aforementioned curtain. This made the room rather dark and cave-like, and most likely, depressing to all who entered. Josh had himself pulled down the curtains, wanting to be enveloped in darkness and not be thinking about the world outside that window.
    Speaking of...
Not a single person had brought him flowers, get-well cards, or anything else for that matter. At least not any that isn’t a member of Josh’s own family. His mum and dad had obviously been there, and his mum wouldn’t leave his side for hours, and hadn’t even now, she’d only left to go get something to eat. She’d be back at his side, he expected, watching over her last child.
Alone now however and nothing else to focus on, regret washed over him like the long slow waves on a shallow beach. Each wave was icy cold and sent shivers down his spine. How he longed to go back and take a different path, but now that was impossible. There was no way back. There was no way to make it right. The remorse would eat at him everyday of his life.

He wondered how the others were doing. He hadn't spoken to ANY of them since it all went down.

He wondered where they all were, and if they were thinking about him.

But they didn't, because again, why would they? He had hurt them...bad. And the fact he didn't know that, it did little to change that fact, right? He didn't deserve another chance. And he wouldn't see any of them ever again.

But he wanted to. But yet not. It was all so very confusing and he couldn't make much sense of it.

  • Seeing the red hot wax being put forth and the lid popped open, Chris wrapped his strong protective arms around his bro and pulled him into a tight embrace, hugging him in the most bromantic way possible and infusing him with strength and determination, enough perhaps for the young Washington to survive this terrible ordeal.

Chris looked to Sam, nodding in agreement that this was far too horrible a dare. But, knowing Josh, Chris knew he wouldn't back out and so resolved to simply comfort to his friend, and perhaps also be prepared to quickly cover his ears due to the strong possibility of loud screaming occurring in the coming moments.

“You got this, man, listen...-" Chris said, pulling Josh in as his words devolved into soft whispering between the two, something the rest couldn't hear as Mike gave a tip of his head in their direction, trying to decipher what was said. But he and the group couldn't hear anything, and at the end just stared when the two goofs shared a laughter together, probably due to something they said to each other. Emily finally cracked and exclaimed annoyingly, "Look, are you gonna go on with this, or are you just going to bitch with your boyfriend?"

Josh giggled, seemingly taking no offense as he replied.

“Alright, alright, I'll do it! Here it goes!”

Saying this Josh gave the group a determined smile and took a final swig of his beer -- emptying it in one go, well what was left anyway, and threw the leftover carcass on the top of an ever increasing pile of garbage beside the bed. The thought of it being a bad thing to litter his little sisters room in this way didn’t exactly dawn on Josh as he had have too many drinks to think, and his focus, what little he had left, was entirely on preparing himself mentally for the pain.

He slowly yanked a foot onto the bed, removing his sock and pulling up the pant leg, exposing some leg hair. Not a lot, but enough to make the poor boy yelp. Soon enough he felt the wax make contact with his hair and he felt his heart throb as Ash applied pressure to help the wax stick to the hairs. "Any last requests?" She asks mockingly, but before he has any chance to reply she gives a yank of her hand and Josh screams in pain.

  • For the remainder of the round Emily sticks to her boyfriend like glue, nuzzling his neck with wet kisses and playfully nibbling at his jacket, making it obvious to everyone in the group that this man belonged to her, and that she didn’t like him to be shared like salt at the dinner table.
Oddly enough this lead to Jess and Em exchanging a few, rather odd glances at each other, and they continue this non-verbal fight of sorts until Mike pops the uncomfortable question which has everyone turning their heads, eyes peeking with interest. Especially Josh, who had snatched himself a cold one during the spinning of the bottle just moments ago, and now in the process of trying to drink it. Try is quite the appropriate word because half of it went down his shirt instead. The icy cold liquid ran down his chest and pooled at his belt, tickling him and making him spill even more, worse was with beer still half down his gullet, he couldn’t help but to chuckle, making some of it spray onto an unexpecting Chris who just so happened to sit in the crossfire. He doesn’t seem to mind though and he and Josh begins to laugh madly for reasons not yet known to, well to anyone in the group. They do that sometimes.
This is good however because when attention is brought away from Sam and to the two goofballs, she wisely acts quick and spins the bottle for another round, landing on Ashley.
The two goofs grow silent after Sam puts her question out there, and Josh gets a wicked smile on his lips and would high five her, if it weren’t for the fact that there were two people in front of her, and that it would kind of make it obvious they were scheming to get the two lovebirds together.

Chris leans over to Josh and whispers something in his ear, and Josh, in return, gives his bro a playful wink.

“I’m breaking the norm here and I’m going...dare.” Josh replies, not really wanting to disclose any personal information to a pack of people he knew would spread it around school like aids. Well, Chris he could tell anything and Sam he trusted to keep personal secrets to her grave, but the others....less so.

And so he choose instead whatever fate Ashley had in store for him as the bottle now pointed at him.

  • (THIS. THIS BACKGROUND IS THE ONE FOR YOU. Also, writing le reply ^^)

  • Josh wasn’t oblivious to Sam’s not too subtle indications as to what game she thought they should be playing, and was quick to act on it as Josh actually had a similar thing in mind as he too was playing matchmaker between Chris and Ash. They belonged together like the open seas and shores, they just needed...a little push. Or a shove.
    Just a tiny one.

“Truth or dare it is.” Josh affirms, grasping the thin neck of his bottle and pursing his lips around the top, tipping his head backwards and allowing the cold liquid to go down his throat and once empty, he handed it over to his main bro Chris, who looked mighty confused as to do with it until Josh sprung up from bed to fetch something for the bottle to rest on. After rummaging the room he found a poster of a butterfly Hannah hadn’t bothered to put up on the wall and which Josh figured she wouldn’t mind they use as a stabilizer for the bottle.
After laying it out Chris puts the bottle to lie down in the middle of the group and hesitant at first, is the first to spin the bottle, with a little coaxing from Josh, of course.
After going around the group twice it falls on Mike.
“Oh shit. I’m prepared. Let’s go four eyes.” He says excitedly as he takes a long and deep breath, preparing himself. “So, truth or dare?” Chris asks with a wicked little smile, knowing full well what Mikey boy would pick, being the ray of confidence that he is.
Chewing his options Michael takes his time and takes a long swig of his beer, answering in a tipsy sort of voice. “Dare. I’ll go with what you throw at me, man.” Proudly proclaiming this he is less so when Chris asks him to kiss Jessica, at which point he looks to Emily with a blank expression, as if asking for permission. Em seems not to like this idea, as Jess is her best friend and it would feel weird. But she’s confident she’s got her claws in Mike and therefore says nothing, and soon enough, Mike and Jess leans forwards to give each other a wet sloppy kiss. Withdrawing Em reels her man in like a fish on a line, digging her sharp claws into him and claiming back her boytoy.
“Aaaaright. Let’s spin this bad boy then.” Mikey says and spins the bottle, landing on Sam.

“So, truth or dare?” He asks.

  • [Sounds like a great idea to me! Would you mind starting? ^^]
