you all know the story of the Minotaur in the Labyrinth, the Minotaur was the offspring of the Cretan Queen Pasiphae and a majestic white bull. Minos he prayed that a bull would appear from the depths of the sea. Minos vowed to heaven that he would sacrifice the bull to Poseidon once it appeared. Poseidon, then, produced a magnificent bull from the sea he prayed that a bull would appear from the depths of the sea. However, King Minos did not fulfil his vow to Poseidon; he kept the majestic bull for himself and sacrificed a different one to the god. Angered by King Minos’ disrespect, Poseidon plotted to punish him for his arrogance and hubris. In accordance to some versions of the myth, it is Poseidon who punishes Minos by instilling a passion within the king’s wife, Pasiphae, for the bull that came from the sea. It is from this union that the Minotaur was born, as he grew he became ferocious and monstrous and she was unable to feed or care for him any longer King Minos commanded Daedalus and Icarus to build a grand Labyrinth to house the beast. Many years passed and a war ended resulting in tributes that would then be placed in the Labyrinth for the Minotaur to devour. In various sources, the tributes or sacrificial victims were chosen by lot from only the most beautiful men and virginal girls. one time the Minotaur took advantage of a girl and she became pregnant only to die in child birth from hunger, giving birth to Thanos. As Thanos grew up he became smarter than his father, learning to speak from the tributes and hiding from the guards till one day Theseus, son of King Aegeus killed Thanos’s father leaving the young Minotaur to survive on his own. he fed on what ever animal had gotten lost in the labyrinth and with the people thinking the Minotaur was dead the labyrinth slowly fell into ruins and the story turned to myth. one day a wall to the outside world finally fell from time and gravity, giving Thanos a chance to escape. he continues to this day to live on his own, teaching himself how to read and learning all sorts of things, he even has is own goat farm.
