A Spar between the Praetorian and Draconic Fox

A whirlwind of snow and sparks announced Hikari’s arrival to large open field of swaying grass. It was the chosen area for a spar, one which she had basically promised her new company. As the draconic fox stepped forward she no longer wore her blood splattered clothing. Instead it was a tunic and trouser mix of the same pale white coloring with a belt of colored in the richest of purple and the trimming a silver hue. “Well this looks like the perfect place for this, don’t you agree Zaeslu?” She turned to look towards the woman she spoke to having dragged her along through the snowy teleportation.

Zaeslu

<Zaeslu wasn’t too fond of the snowy teleportation. Mainly because she didn’t trust teleportation since she never really used it. The coldness that wafted from the teleportation was a bit more than she was used to though. When she stepped out, those soulless black eyes looked around for a moment. Wide open and spacious.> It’s perfect for sparring, yes. <She would comment as she circled around the hybrid woman a bit.> Maybe next time we can spar someone that offers things we can break. I’m sure that’ll be fun too. <She suggested with a shrug. A cheeky grin was given. Slowly that tail unwrapped itself from around her waist, rolling out from her black vest and swayed around behind her dangerously.> You were right though when you said I’m an alien but I’m not your normal types. <She cooed before that tail shot forward in an attempt to stab Hikari with its acidic tip. Dirty little fucker she is.>

With a chuckle she nods, the area is quite perfect and a lot of space to throw out some ice pillars if needed. “Good and I do agree.” She shrugged but this was between them two anyone would be welcomed to watch if they so desired but interfering would result into some form of harm. “Anything would be to cause destruction and bodily harm it seems to be in both our natures.” She kept her eyes on the alien woman before her attention was drawn to the tail in surprise. Oh what a love dangerous tail! This would prove to be an interesting spar indeed. “Well then all the more surprises.” Catching sight of the tail shooting off in her direction she jumped back and up onto a rising pillar of ice as those moonlite hues narrowed. “Cheeky move there I’ll say.” With a slight twist of her right wrist ice spikes would rush along the ground towards Zaeslu to serve as a distraction as HIkari pushed off the pillar and vanish in a sprinkle of snow before appearing in the same way to try and land a punch on the alien.

<Zaeslu wouldn’t mind some on-lookers because if they interfered with the fight then that was on them. The praetorian guard would show them no mercy like she wasn’t going to show Hikari any.> I mean the version of me that you met was pretty tame compared to who I really am. <She responded then grinned.> I’d love to show you the real me. <And that’s when she pulled a dirty move and tried stabbing the other with her tail while they were simply talking. Miss! She hissed as she watched Hikari land on a rising pillar.> You scared?! <She called out in a taunting manner but she knew the woman wasn’t. As the ice spikes shot in her direction she would focus on dodging them. Turning back she would then notice that Hikari was gone. By the time she noticed what was happening she would turn around just in time for – contact!> Oof! <The praetorian guard would stagger back a bit. Spitting some acidic blood onto the ground.> Ooo! Dirty~ I love it. <She hissed before charging forward and drawing her fist back like she was going to hit Hikari. Except at the last moment she changed her mind and dropped down and attempted to sweep her legs out from under her.>

“Well then I rather want to meet the untamed you, as charming as you are nothing beats your true self.” With the tail strike avoided she had taken a short moment to stand there on the pillar, “scared? You haven’t shown anything to be scared of.” She taunted right back in a mocking tone but soon grinned as she had launched her own attack. With her punch landing she witnessed Zaeslu stagger back. She hadn’t put much force behind it but the woman did tower over Hikari’s short form so she didn’t expect much from it. Bouncing back and away from the alien she grinned. “Best to even the field yeah? Two can play that game.” Seeing her charge forward, the draconic fox was preparing to block the punch when she barely noticed the last second change to which she was not prepared for. With her footing on the ground gone, Hikari attempted to do a mid air roll with the help of a small icy blast to propel her in whatever direction she hoped was away from Zaeslu.

<A grin appeared on Zaeslu’s face as Hikari admitted to wanting to see the untamed side of her. Technically, no one but her ‘sister’ and their deceased coworkers were the only ones to see the untamed side of her. But she supposed she could show the pretty lady that same side! However that grin soon turned into a sneer as the other mentioned that she hadn’t given her anything to fear yet.> I’ll make you eat those words. <She hissed. That punch wasn’t expected from Zaeslu either. If anything it impressed the praetorian guard and provoked her to be a little bit wilder with herself and her fighting.> Ha! <She cackled madly as she managed to knock the woman off her feet.> Now, now. Don’t be falling for me. <She would taunt as she quickly got to her feet and attempted to stab the woman with her tail again. Miss! A hiss escaped the woman and she charged towards Hikari. Maybe she could tackle her!>

She didn’t want some flashy fake fight, no she wanted the real thing. The best way to get her blood pumping and hyped up. “Oh I would like to see you try.” So far there’s nothing to fear in fact she rather want to study the woman yet something told her there was more to Zaeslu than what the other woman is showing. She’s proud of herself with that landed hit! But there was no time to show it she had been working on getting stronger and in the long run this was helping even further. “As if I would fall for you.” She purred, her voice sounding as she whispered the words in the praetorian’s ear as she righted herself a few feet away. This time Hikari is well prepared for the charging alien, in fact she would take her head on.

<The praetorian was going to breathe life into those words of Hikari’s. If the woman wanted her to try then she would. She had a plan to reveal herself to Hikari. The form that those around her usually saw and feared. That very form was usually the last thing they saw before darkness would engulf them forever. She would have given a smart ass remark to those words but it threw her off how close Hikari seemed to sound yet she was far away. Was that – was that a decoy? Or the real thing? Only way to find out. She lunged for the woman when she was close enough. Hoping to tackle her to the ground and attempt to get a few punches in. If not then she would try and block any attacks that Hikari sent her way while throwing some of her own back in return. She could feel that monster inside of her waking up. Clawing to come out. An alien-like screech escaped the woman as she continued to fight the snow bound one. But soon Hikari was going to meet someone else.>

Would the draconic fox show fear once the from was revealed? Probably or probably not. There was no telling until it happened. A smirk soon graced her pale lips. She has Zaeslu in her trap and the fact she had hidden her true location from the praetorian. The woman would only find that Hikari would crumble into snow. It would feel like powered snow to be exact, so soft yet cold all the same but it wouldn’t end there. Suddenly breaking through the pillar of ice not far off the real Hikari burst forth and straight for Zaeslu at a near blinding speed. The pale woman would, if lucky, slam into the other’s side with her right shoulder. She plans to knock the taller woman over before using her icy powers to spear her.

<Crumble. Confusion. The praetorian rolled a few times before quickly stopping in a crouch. Black eyes narrowed as she cant her head to the side a bit.> What the – <Soon her attention snapped towards the pillar that broke. She was quick to move out of the way but not quick enough. Hikari manage to clip her into falling over but not before Zaeslu turned her upper half enough to grab the back of the woman’s shirt in hopes of throwing her down onto the ground with her. If she was lucky enough to do that then she would try and straddle the woman to try and hold her down. Acidic drool begin to pool in her mouth, dripping onto the ground. For now.>

Her decoy had worked! That was something new she had to test out and the fact she had gotten the powered snow to look exactly and act like her was a feat all done in one go. It seemed clipping the woman was the best she could do at that given moment, that’s ok her next move would be a surprised one. However before she could try to launch herself away she found herself pinned to the ground. Moonlite hues blinked in surprise, well wasn’t this just a predicament. Not really it was something that caught her off guard. Moonlite hues blinked at witnessing the drool before narrowing. The tail and the drool. Two indicators to what this woman is however what caste would be the golden question with this realization a smirk would form before she spoke. “Well isn’t this just a surprise. So tell me Big Z, what are you going to do?”

<It was an impressive move! If anything it did impress the female guard despite the fact she wouldn’t admit it. Especially since it caused Hikari to basically throw her off once more. Damn this woman was good! She is a worthy opponent and Zae would be honored to spar with her again! Her jaws parted a bit as Hikari could practically see the acidic saliva that pooled up into the woman’s mouth. That xenomorphic tail swayed around behind her. Annnd -record scratch- Zae seemed to pause as the other said that. Giving the woman an ‘excuse me?’ look as she stared down at the other. Still straddling her.> Big – Z <She would repeat. Boy did that do something to her. Something spicy. Ahem. But it gave Hikari enough time to turn the table and ‘win’ if she wanted to.>

It would be something she improves upon over time, it may have been prefect that time but it doesn’t mean it will next time she decides to use the decoy trick. Seeing the acidic drool, she was honestly curious about that but this not the place to ask about it. A grin would form when she saw the affect the nickname had been given. The precise reaction she wanted. She shrugged and couldn’t help the soft laugh that bubbled out. With the distraction she would attempt to launch forward, using a blast of cool air to propel her and switch the twos’ positions but she didn’t stop there. Chomp! She would attempt to bite down upon an exposed flesh she could. She wouldn’t even be gentle about it.

<Before the praetorian knew it the tables were turned on her. Hikari managed to successfully flip them over.> Oi! <She would hiss before grinning. There was a moment when those black eyes looked down towards their position, prepared to give a cheeky remark but stopped when she noticed the woman leaning down.> What are yo – <A moan escaped the praetorian guard followed by a sharp hiss as she was bitten.> Damn girl! If you wanted to hit second base already then you could have just said that. <She commented with a chuckle.>

Vixen ears would perk up both at the unfinished sentence and the moan that came from the praetorian, but she would smirk against the woman’s flesh before biting down a tad bit harder and pulled away. “Well what would be the fun in that?” She said before grinning ground at her. “Looks like I win.” Pale fingers would reach up and wipe away the small droplet of blood at the corner of mouth. She did bite to draw blood and the fact that it was acidic was not a surprise. “Spicy.”
