The stage lights turn on, illuminating what appears to be a clean looking stage for complete in talk show fashion with a desk next to a white sofa and a coffee table.  The background behind overlooks a sunny cityscape, of no particular skyline that is immediately identifiable. The crowd cheers as the special guest arrives, walking on stage with a dazzling smile and a wave to the live studio audience.

Interviewer: “That’s right everyone, on today’s interview we will be talking to the Mistress of Magic, the Princess of Prestidigitation, the one, the only, Zatanna Zatara!”

A new ripple of applause and cheers fills the audience as Zatanna shakes hands with her interviewer and settles into a sofa seat, crossing one leg loosely over the other.

Interviewer: “First off, let me take a moment to thank you for taking the time to be here today!  I have to admit, I’m a little starstruck myself.”

Zatanna: “Oh, of course!  Thank you for having me!  It’s always great to meet a fan!” She looks the woman behind the desk over with a polite smile.

Interviewer: “Well, actually, this may sound strange, even to someone who handles strange for a living, but I’d maybe go more ‘partner’ than ‘fan’, per se.” She notices the woman’s polite smile is now paired with a confused look. “I should probably explain.”

Zatanna: *shifts in her seat, but maintains the smile as she jokes* “Like a rabbit pulled from a hat, I’m all ears.”

Interviewer: *chuckles* “Right, well you see your career is notorious and to be honest, most of it you have accomplished on your own, or with help from others who work for DC Comics, those people can’t be everywhere at once.  For the last few years, I’ve done my best to make sure that you were bringing that magic to the world outside of the comic book pages or the silver screen, although I honestly think you could use more representation in both silver and small screen personally.”

Zatanna: *eyebrows knit, noticeably confused* “Um, thank you?  That’s really kind of you to help, but um… I haven’t even met you?”

Interviewer: “True.  I guess you could think of me like in the Wizard of Oz as the ‘[wo]man behind the curtain’ so to speak.  I’ve spent over ten years of my life bringing people like you to life over the web to the best of my ability.  Before you, I worked with Jade Nguyen, who we may see later, but on Wrealms, I wanted to focus on someone that was more open to talking to just about anyone and open up more possibilities to have you interact with people!  Before that, I have created and helped create with my friends several next-generation heroes back on YouTube.”

Zatanna: *thoughtfully* “Well, that’s quite a resume!  Next-generation of heroes huh?  Anyone I know?”

Interviewer: “Oh, I’m sure you’re aware of their parents, but we’re not here for that, today we’re here for you!”

Zatanna: “Well, I know this interview was for me, but I have a few questions for you myself.”

Interviewer: “And we’ll get right to that-  Right after the break!”

*audience claps as the camera zooms out and we cut to commercial*
