Jeon Yeo-reum had been on the run from HYDRA for four years.
It all started when she was sent to one of their secret facilities, but the story before HYDRA's involvement in her life was way more complicated.
If there's one person or more that tells Yeo-reum that they wished to have a life like her, she would laugh at their face. She had a not-so-friendly childhood to begin with, leaving her with a lot of wounds, both physically and mentally. That time, Yeo-reum would be too afraid to stand up to herself as she was too afraid to be hurt even more if she do so. She would do nothing while the world picked on her, their words left her broken. All the time she wanted to scream, cry, yet she kept on holding back all the physical and emotional pain.
Until one day, she finally snapped.
It resulted in six lives lost in just one night, as well as her ended up being sent to what they said to be a 'correctional facility'. Unbeknownst to everyone that the facility was actually the remains of HYDRA in disguise. Apparently someone, or a group of people are aware of HYDRA's existence amongst them, yet also wanted to get a rid of Yeo-reum for eternity, so they arranged it so that Yeo-reum would be sent there. These people got away easy.
Everyone being sent there will be used for them to experiment their own version of super soldier serum they had just developed that time, and they're not allowed to say no. Yeo-reum was one of them, and she absolutely loathed it. She wouldn't consider herself lucky that she was the only one survived from the experiment, she had to go through more injections every day, meaning more pain every single day. Days become weeks, weeks become month, and months turned into one year, and she finally had enough of HYDRA's bullshit.
She finally plots her escape. While everyone was asleep, she pretended to mop the floors—unbeknownst to everyone she replaced the floor cleaner with a flammable liquid. Once she’s done, she found a way out, switched on a lighter in her hand, tossed it to the building’s direction and watched everything set ablaze before she ran into a nearby forest.
In the papers, Yeo-reum was presumed dead as everyone thought she vanished in the fire, turned to ashes. In reality, she faked her death and decided on a fresh new start. Having talents in computers, hacking, or anything related to technology, she would use this to survive and to get back at her own feet. Years later, under the alias 'blue flame', she is known for slipping from authorities' grasp from time to time. She vowed to hunt down every single remains of HYDRA around the world, until they are nothing left but a memory.
