The game of Hypothetical Questions

The rules of this game are simple; reply (In character!) to the hypothetical question before you, and ask a hypothetical question in reply for someone else to answer.

  • Replies must be In-Character
  • Replies do not have to be long or detailed! Just as long as you reply to the previous person's question, and leave a question of your own

Have fun!

  • The elven was quiet while the others spoke. Her interest in the game gradually increased as the questions became more and more thought-provoking.

She took a moment to think about the lateral inquiry, and after a few seconds, Raiya broke the silence:

"Uncertainty. Primarily for what the future may hold, and how easily future outcomes can be unintentionally altered." And as for the second question, a shrug was granted before the answer came.
"I'm content here in the city, but I'd be lying to myself if I say I'm happy here. Despite what I do to keep myself occupied, there's always something missing."

"...Say I had infinite knowledge of everything in the universe and beyond. You may only ask me one question. What would you ask me, and why?"

  • The Vessel raised his head from the table where it once lay, looking over the brim of his coffee cup toward Cass. A hand rose and swept dark brown locks from his eyes.

"I guess... I'd find a good party and spend it like New Year's... y'know? -But seriously, I'd leave Katalam for the day and go back to New York. I'd spend it with some people I haven't seen for a while if I can find them. I wouldn't want to go out alone. Omega might say otherwise, but what else is new?"

Nik's hand propped on his jawline as he thought. He raised the coffee cup, took a drink, and cleared his throat.

"What's something that has been holding you back lately? Is there something you're lying to yourself about?"

  • Stirring several packets of creamer through her coffee, a young woman gave it some thought. There's many-- way too many. Eyebrows knitted, silver eyes glittered, a gradual smile graced a face so pale.

"My memories, I'd say. I have been through so much just to have it, I have lived and died just to keep it. I may have forgotten a few and most of them aren't the prettiest, but I'll be completely damned without any of those that hold me down in place."

A casual glance was swept over the café.

"If the world ends tomorrow without any hope for salvation, what are the last things left for you to do?"

  • The shadow of the chair grew larger in form, the open question garnering her attention as her form emerged through the realm of darkness. Metallic blue hues glanced at the vampire in the chair.

"There is only a few things I hold dear, even fewer people...but when it comes to losing, I'm very familiar with rock bottom. Everything has a value, especially when you're nothing, meaningless is a term coined for those who fear to lose everything. Against all odds, I have lost even my life for what I seek." She answered.

"What do you regret the most?"

  • Dracula's boney, spider-like fingers, gently danced and tapped the arm of the chair he sat upon, and he leaned back, pondering the question asked to him.

"Then I would have you replace him. You'd have proved yourself worthy." He answered.

"Now, as for my question; how far are you willing to go, how much are you able to stand losing, in the pursuit of that which you seek? At what point does things become meaningless?"

  • Shadow pooled and wafted as the vulpine strode to the table beside the elf. Soundlessly, Synova hopped up onto the table and sat down, analyzing her with a tilt of his head.

"I would erase memories. All of them, from everyone. All of this world's inhabitants will have to start again from absolutely nothing, and oh what chaos that would be~!"

Synova gave a quiet cackle, and turned to look at the next person.

"What would you do if I ate your pet~?"

  • Raiya leaned back in her seat with a hum, eyes aimlessly scanning the roof of the vicinity in thought. Finally, she spoke;

"If you could erase one thing from existence, what would it be?"
