Donasdogamatastos [ DOH - NAH - STOE - DAH - MAH - TAYO ] is the name of the tortured soul that Lucifer resurrected to be its right-hand man, should we say. A threatening force with numerous individual kills & battle wins under his belt: Donasdogamatastos is a snarky, abrasive, vulgar and brutally bloodthirsty creature that many of us believe to be ‘The Grim Reaper.’

Born into neolithic times and living out a gruesome childhood, laden with torture and pain, Tassos’ rage festered from a young age and bloomed into the tremendous demonic faculty he holds today. Over the years it has puttered out some, but can be ignited at the drop of a hat. He commands Hellish armies, originated and fostered the growth of the Hell Hound species, controls and maintains supernatural life among Earth, is the only individual in Hell trusted with Lucifers personal care, has saved Hell from a heavenly breach umpteen times and has single-handedly won two civil wars, having instigated one of them. Tassos was also rumoured to have survived the Praevictorious. The Prae, being the cavernous path Lucifer carved through to Hell when they were first cast down, is the darkest, most horrific area of the Pit by far. This rumour has since been confirmed.

In his humanoid form, Donasdogamatastos has been speculated to be behind famous jazz singer, performance artist & professional dancer ‘Matt Tasso’. Matt Tassos is admittedly an elusive one. You’ll be hard-pressed to find someone with an autograph from him, let alone a photograph. Donasdogamatastos can only be found at night, hating the sunshine, frequenting musical bars, clubs and various nightlife. Our sources have also tracked down multiple dog shelters under his name that he can be found at.

  • Remember, if you spot the Dog Lord: DO NOT APPROACH HIM! I repeat: DO NOT APPROACH LORD DONASDOGAMATASTOS. This Lord has Prince of Hell status, protecting him from interference by supernatural entities under the Devils name, as well as his close relationship with Satan itself. This makes him incredibly dangerous. Additionally, his staggering abilities make him a force to be reckoned with alone. Any and all sightings of Donasdogamatastos must be reported to [REDACTED] immediately and you should then leave the scene.

- An excerpt from a long-abandoned forum centring around the study of prolific Hell-Creatures.

"The Lord stalked through the entrance hall, fine eyebrows furrowed over long-dead eyes, an empty rage trailing him like a jilted lover."

𝒶 𝓁𝑜𝑜𝓀 𝒶𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝒻𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓁𝑜𝓇𝒹

Tassos was born thousands of years ago 'Brun Wulfgeat', the eldest inbred child to vile parents. The Wulfgeats were crazed, delusional, obsessed with eternal life. Abused their multiple children and animals, dogs, who they bred and their eldest son cared for. Brun lived a life of daily torment, trauma, grief and suffering while raising his siblings and dogs himself. Eventually, the Wulfgeats tired of their prayers falling on deaf ears. They sacrificed all of their children in a lengthy, violent ritual that ended in the burning of their own offspring. Brun was the last to die. Lucifer, the Lord Satan, took pity on the boy on the pyre and resurrected him to enact vengeance against his family and the local village that turned a blind eye to the abuse. Impressed by his faculty, Lucifer offered him a position as their protector. Donasdogamatastos was born.

Many elder demons, specifically the Ars Goetia, resented Donasdogamatastos (colloquially 'Tass') for his human origins, natural-borne demonic ability and the favour he garnered from Lucifer. Tassos was given an exceptionally hard time for hundreds of years. Often he was subjected to fierce, gladiator-style battles to prove his worth. After losing many of his first and earning an eerie collection of scars, he quickly hardened and adapted, and began to dominate his opponents easier and quicker. In this time, he killed many and found he had a penchant for bloodlust. Lucifer began to designate him 'grunt' jobs, like killing off those on Earth who had wronged the Devil and chasing down rogue supernaturals. After a few years of these, Donasdogasmatastos fought in his first civil war.

The first civil war Tass saw was the revolt of the Ars Goetia. Long displeased with Lucifers dictatorship, Beleth began to sow dissent that eventually fell into all-out war. Numerous Princes and Lords rallied against Lucifer and would have won out if not for Donasdogamatastos. Tass had recently started drafting lost souls to the Hounds to offer them a better life in Hell, saving them from the grind to prove themselves that he had endured. Or worse, saving them from an eternity spent as the plaything of a high-level demon. By the time Beleth revolted, Donasdogamatastos had amassed a staggering sixty-two legions (roughly 250,000 individuals) of Hell Hounds, fiercely loyal to him. Therefore also, to Lucifer.

Donasdogamatastos and his Hounds, along with the Succubi and unexpected ally Paimon, rallied together and expunged Beleths forces with laughable ease. The Lord of Hounds was himself embroiled in a nasty, violent gore-fest of a one-to-one battle with Beleth for weeks before Beleth finally admitted defeat. As a result, Beleths forces swore fealty to the Hounds, and Tass was granted his own region of Hell as well as the title of Prince of Hell and King of Hounds, effective immediately after the battle ended. This was a great embarrassment to Beleth. She retreated, exiled from Hells upper circles, and began to turn the lower levels against Donasdogamatastos, one individual at a time, with the help of her long-time companion Baal.

For a large majority of his life, Tass was unstoppable. Feared in Heaven and Earth, revered but hated in Hell, all he knew was death. Lucifer and death, and the festering mass of emotional trauma he was ignoring from his life as a human and treatment in Hell. As well as the guilt that was slowly numbing the more lives he took for his Lord.

He won battles, navigated political warfare, defended Satan diligently and carried out their orders without question, raised and taught his Hounds and more. On Earth, he began to dabble in his more primal urges. Becoming something of a promiscuous individual, as well as falling deeply into addiction struggles. Nicotine and alcohol being the most prominent. With his fleshly form still being bound to a certain level of humanity, he can still feel the effects of it, though his tolerance is much higher.

Tassos did horrible things as he grew in power, grew in standing in Hell. Horrible things that after his time in the Prae, haunt him every day, as well as his past as a human.

A little over three years ago, Tassos was involved in a ghastly affair. Beleth and Ba'al (along with his own attitude towards Hell-creatures) had turned almost everyone in Hell against him. They managed to get enough traction to challenge him to a duel to the death, which it is an unwritten rule in Hell to accept unless you want to lose your political standing. If Tass lost, he would be exiled. Tassos accepted and unexpectedly won, killing Beleth in the process. Ba'al, enraged and upset that his plan had failed, retreated to the lower levels once more.

A while later, he met a man on Earth. Still, after 12,000 years, he had never known true friendship. He thought he saw it in this individual. James, was his name. The two spent a year together, dancing with romance but Tass always being too afraid to commit, James being patient and understanding all the while. They would meet weekly, daily at one point. James taught Tass to embrace his human side, to be brave enough to face his emotions. The two were intricately and passionately bonded. Then came Ba'al.

Tassos returned to Earth one day to find James stuck with a Vipers Blade, a blade that consumes the soul of whomever it punctures. Ba'al claimed that he would subject James to endless torture in his realms if Tassos didn't sign a contract agreeing to step down from his position at Lucifers side. Tassos, desperate, signed and agreed to do so with full intentions to betray Ba'al. But Ba'al was one step ahead.

As he held James in his arms, the man began to melt away. To only bone at first. Bone that took shape. Beleths shape. The two had tricked him successfully after all. As they re-entered Hell, to instigate the ritual where Tass would stand down and hand over his power to Ba'al, Tass reacted by brutally and ferociously slaughtering or gruesomely injuring every single member who attended court. Including Paimon, a previous friend, who barely survived. Blinded by his rage, he had committed treason by going against a bound contact. The hunt for him began.

His hounds defended him. Many died in the process. More of the Goetia died. Tassos wanted revenge. He didn't care that they had no part in Ba'al and Beleths plan. They'd die like the rest of them. He was agonized at the loss of his only true loved one, who had never been true at all. He was embarrassed. He was afraid. He was alone. So he did what he did best. He killed.

When Lucifer eventually tracked him down, it was an emotional battle that neither wanted to fight. Instead of killing Tass like Lucifer was honour-bound to do, he beat him almost fatally and then cast him to Earth. Tass lived on Earth for a year, depressed, suicidal, hunted and longing to be found for the release of eternal death. There he met two individuals that saved his life and set him back on the path to Hell, to Lucifer who he loved so dearly, to make amends to those he had wronged in his second civil war.

The only way to return to Hell from exile is through the Prae. Many die, if not all. Days stretch into years, years of hallucinations and torment and horrific visuals and pain and torture. All while stumbling blindly through the dark of the chasm Lucifer tore open on his first journey to Hell. Tass doesn't speak about what he saw, but it changed him. He's no longer so bloodthirsty. His eyes dart nervously back and forth, tormented by things only he can see. He is kinder, somehow, but far more afraid of kindness and love than he ever was. He no longer seeks pain and torment. After months in the Prae, Tass finally returned to fall at Lucifers feet. Lucifer accepted him back with no question.

Now, Tassos is fully reinstated. Commander of Hells legions, King of Hounds, Satans Right-Hand and responsible for controlling supernatural life on Earth, Tass feels ... off. Something changed in him. There is a part of him that screams for humanity, that longs for the way he felt when he was on Earth and had someone who loved him. Someone he presumed loved him. In a selfless way. Not in a way of wanting or using him. In a way of simply loving.

Find him on Earth more often than not. Chasing down troublesome supernaturals, juggling responsibilities from Hell, caring for his hounds, drinking, smoking, sleeping around, trying to fill a hole that gets bigger every day. Could you be the one to show this weary Lord a life beyond the death and deceit he's only ever known? Or will you lose yourself to it, the way that he has, and share a glass with him way down at the bottom?

Character Age

Historians, mythologists and self pronounced 'Hellarians' guesstimate him to be around 12,000 years old

Character Appearance

Tassos absolutely rocks expectations of his appearance with how he actually looks: lithe, barely bordering six feet without his heels, lengthy and divinely kept auburn hair. Sharp cheekbones draw in to highlight plump, cherubic lips beneath a barely bristling line of a fair moustache. Skin is pale and flecked with light freckling, hands are delicate and finely adorned. In all of the legends and written lore about Tass, he is a fiend of such physical horror it is beyond human comprehension. While this is true, he tends to prefer his more ... human appearance. However, his eyes are always the same. Milky. Long dead. Very obviously non-human, though mortals are often far too polite (or afraid) to point them out.

Some of his vices show in his physical appearance, also. There are more often than not dark circles under his eyes, a red hue across his cheeks from drinking. The tips of his fingernails are stained yellow from smoking, peeking through his normally painted nails. The most striking part of his appearance is his scars. A multitude of them: thick and rope-like in texture, thin and winding, three-pronged and deep, barely there and fairly obviously there and unable to miss all at once. They wind around his body like chains. Not an inch of him is spared from them, save for his face and upper arms. Tass has been the Devils right hand and the spearhead of the Army of the Pit for the large majority of his life and it shows on his skin.

Tass is often given the nickname 'Hells Cherub' for his doll-like features. He was also the talk of the land among the Succubi and Incubi for a hefty portion of his life due to this, among ... other things. In regards to his dress sense, it changes often, though he prefers deeper colours and reds and doesn't care for gendered clothing, choosing instead to wear whatever he favours. Other preferences are:

- Suit dresses.

- Anything lace.

- Some sort of lingerie peeking through sheer garments.

- High heels are a MUST, shunting his already impressive height up to 6'8 at times.

- Baggy upper body items such as jumpers and incredibly short skirts.

- Extravagant gowns and bodices.

- Recreates outfits from TV characters he enjoys a lot.

- Corsets.

Character Personality

Sardonic, to say the least.

Tass is scathingly witty and more often than not seeming 'bored'. Tass has been alive for an incredibly long time and has seen an overwhelming amount of death, more often than not at his own hands. This has left him somewhat hollow. His alcoholism and debatable addiction to drugs and lustful behaviour are the attempts to fill this hole, from a man who never learned to value himself at his core or deal with his unbearably rich and intense emotions.

Tassos' deep-rooted self-esteem issues show evidently in his behaviour. Initially and often, he is keen for attention, even subconsciously. Tass over-relies on vulgarity and over-confidence to maintain dominance in a conversation. He never asks for help, emotional release, comfort, kind words or anything of the sort and will actively avoid conversations about his own mental health or life if he can. Another way he avoids this is via humour. He is always cracking wise, shifting conversations in his favour so it never strays from his control. Though there are many layers to Tassos' personality; too many to summarise in a short sequence of paragraphs. He is compassionate, in the same breath, he is utterly without mercy. He is adoring and jealous and cold. He is beautiful and terrifying. He kills for pleasure. He kills as the Lord wills. He kills because he must. He kills because it is all he knows.

Character Likes

• The colours brown, red and deep purple.

• Performing, enjoying and dancing to music. Particularly Jazz from the human era 1950s. Particularly, particularly, the Ink Spots.

• The art of song and dance.

• Lucifer, the devil. Tassos is loyal beyond comparison; even angels marvel at his unshakeable integrity. Tass has been the subject of much torture over the years, aimed to get closed to 'Satan', but always endures and outlasts any daring assailants.

• The dark, particularly nighttime. Tassos hates going out during the day on Earth, unless its an overcast or rainy day, and will complain about it almost constantly. He's much happier in the dark.

• People who can make him laugh.

• Revolutionary humans.

• Cigarettes. There isn't a man alive who could pry Lord Donas away from his smokes.

• Particularly wine, most alcoholic beverages. Except the Pina Colada, which he seems disdainful against for some reason.

• Physical contact. For someone so apparently against love and care, Tass adores all sorts of physical contact, though he will be dismissive of someone afterwards/flippant about how much he enjoyed it on an emotional level. Sometimes, after a certain point with someone, he may begin to become unconsciously closer to them. I.E brushing shoulders whilst standing, lighting their cigarettes, playing with the sleeve of their coat while sitting together. Most times he won't even realize he's doing it, but it will take a long time for him to admit he likes the closeness even so.

• Eating. Literally, he eats like a machine. His excuse is that he's dead so essentially he's just cutting out a few steps of composting. Go green, and all that. Also he loves coffee and finds it has little to no effect on him, plus his teeth (and his entire physical form) are fake so go figure.

• Any sort of nightlife.

• Dogs. Tass adores dogs: owns multiple Earthly no-kill dog rescues and shelters, frequently breaks up dog-fighting rings and liberates abused animals (started off hating cats but eventually warmed to them, secretly), even began adopting the lost spirits of dogs, or tortured spirits that had terrible lives on Earth and got lost along the way to the heavens. The large majority of Hell Hounds are actually Earth-born dogs who somehow found their way to Tass, or vice versa, over the years. Many ridicule him for this, calling him sinister and a hypocrite since he's so often flippant about human lives, but he ignores them.

Character Dislikes

• The large majority of Hell-creatures. Tass has racked up so many antagonistic relationships with Hellions that attempts on his life are almost daily at this point.

• Parental figures and/or anyone trying to assume a parental or even caring role in his life. Even something as basic as fixing his clothes for him makes him scoff. He is fiercely, detrimentally, independent.

• Bigots.

• Eye contact. Unless flirting, intimidating or reasonably comfortable, Tass will stare at anything other than the person he's speaking to. His fingers, his smoke, the floor, the sky. Many presume his constant state of inebriation equates to this; truthfully, he just hates boggling into the eyeballs of strangers.

• People who tell him off for cussing.

• People who tell him off for smoking inside.

• People who tell him off for being drunk all the time.

• Authority.

• Facing his emotions, at all, in any capacity. He has literally done anything and everything his whole life to avoid them.

Character History/Story

Who we now know as Donasdogamatastos was once Brun Athelsten Wulfgeat. A simple child with a simple purpose. Tend the dogs. Born in the neolithic era to two sinister, incestuous parents, Brun was one of fifteen children that they dragged along with them on their travels. Flogging haggard wares for commoners and breeding hounds for sale to richer folk. They hardly treated their children any better than nameless cattle. They beat them blue, in every way. Every day. The Lord of All Hounds never repeated what they did, but there are many rumours. If you haven't heard any, consider yourself lucky to be unmarked by the knowledge of what people can do to even their more vulnerable kin. Brun took it upon himself to raise his siblings. Many could not see, or walk, or hear, so he cared for them. Helped them walk and talk and eat. Cleaned their wounds and held them as they cried. His pups were the same: raised dearly, delicately, with great compassion. Brun even stood forward to take beatings for all of them, on many occasions, to save them all. A strange feral family he had made. Some siblings didn't make it. Brun would glance behind himself to see them drifting behind him in the snow, fallen and forgotten. The tears would freeze on his cheeks as he walked. Now and then a dog would join them. Loss lurked around every corner. His parents were eerie folk who consorted with shadows and one day, the shadows answered. Though not in the way they planned. Lucifer is not the one we know. They are unique, and individual, and not swayed to any calling. When the Wulfgeats called it listened but did not speak. It got so agonizing, so fruitless a quest for the Wulfgeats that they resorted to a most terrible act. Ritualistically they took their own children and offered their lives to whatever would grant their lives prosperity. Youngest to oldest. Brun watched it all. When it was finally his turn, Brun was too tired to fight. His body lit up on the pillar his own parents had constructed. He was barely nineteen. A life of torment, with an unsatisfying end. It was only then that Lucifer spoke, but not to the Wulfgeats. But to the tired little boy, burning on that pyre. What do you wish for? Lucifer asked; I wish for Death, the boy said. One by one the siblings he had raised in his parents stead, rose again. One by one rose the dogs the boy had cared for all his life. The Wulfgeats were savaged. Brutally. The savagery consumed them and spilled over into the nearby village of Fenn. In history books today, you can still read about the strange sacking of the Fenn fishing village. The one that left blood running through to the sea, and clumps of teeth and chewed up bone lurking in the creeks. Brun became nameless. Became a creature of hell. Became the first Hell Hound, sworn to Lucifers side for eternity, sworn to be loyal and true. A human born to demonhood. Many hated him from the get go, many wished for his demise. But he only grew. The rage and hate and pain he held in his human heart only fuelled the fire of his demonic abilities. He sky-rocketed up the ladder of power. Many hated him for his relationship with Lucifer, for his quick rise to power, for his human origins, how effortless his battle successes were. Many plotted against him. He had to fight many of his own to stake his claim, to earn a right to live in Hell. He was the cause of two civil wars, one ending in his brief exile. Now, a little over twelve thousand years later, Tassos is what we may call a demigod. Having lived through hundreds of wars, thousands of assassination attempts on his life and his Lords life, hundreds of thousands of political scandals, thirteen civil wars and a minor exile, he stands as the second mightiest individual in Hells arsenal next to the Devil themselves. Though certainly the most hated.

Character Inventory

- Two or more packets of cigarettes from varying brands. - Two or more flasks. - Multiple baggies of questionable substances. - An ornate hanky. Stained with blood. - Lip balm. - Random herbs, like lavender, given to him by fae folk on Earth. The fae seem to adore him for some reason. He should probably be concerned. - Makeup like lipstick et cetera for topping himself up when he goes out.

Character Abilites

• Can recruit and 'turn' humans into Hell Hounds, being the alpha and originator of the species. • Not necessarily an ability, but Tass is essentially the 'Commander' of all of Hells armies. They each have their own branches and 'Captains', but all ultimately report to the Hell Hounds and to him. This grants him tremendous sway over Hell and he is generally untouchable. However, many ignore this and actively plot against him, despising him for a number of reasons. • Can himself shift into a Hound form. Think of like a really huge version of Van Helsing as a Werewolf in that one movie. With teeth and bones hanging out. And white eyes. Comes in at around eight feet tall, not something you want to irk out of him really. • Can manipulate and control what we know to be 'Hell-fire', the extra potent fire created when Tassos was born from man to demon in the fire his parents set for him. • Can 'walk' from realm to realm, I.E is in a room on Earth one second but can 'walk' into another room and be in Hell. It's more of a teleportation/dimension manipulation gig. • Tass is exceedingly physically strong. Not only this, he is trained with a particularly deadly scythe-like weapon capable of rendering even high-leaven Heavensent immobile. The scythe is always on his person, concealed via some simple-skill level demonic magic. High-level supernatural creatures may be able to detect, or even see it. • Tassos' physical form has been created quite literally out of nothing. His body is long dead, so is continuously rebuilt and maintained. Therefore, he can heal exceptionally quickly, though is susceptible to being banished to Hell for long periods of time to recover if his physical form is completely destroyed.

About the Writer (OOC)

Donasdogamatastos, or my beloved Lord Donuts, is my favourite bastard man  <3 I’ve had him for years, so his lore is pretty rich & will probably grow even more on here. Tass is an exploration of troubling topics like addiction, grief, vengeance, trauma and mental illness through an immortal, overpowered being, so expect mature content. I’m also a horror author at my heart, so that is a genre I stray towards, though it’s not concrete. ^u^ He's also not so doom and gloom always! Tassos' and his story and his self all also explore themes of redemption and hope and a desire to be better and happier despite suffering greatly. Tass is endlessly self-destructing and seeking redemption all at once and those who get close to him can help him choose which lane he falls into for good.

As for me, I’m Knoxville ( He / they ) & I’m British so I’m knocking around at all sorts of odd times here probably. I respond to any the same. I am pretty responsive to messages though, in my own time, & have a discord upon request too! Both Tass & I are trans dudes, also, we both chat about it pretty casually so I'm sure you could pick that up even without this lil disclaimer. Still, its a big part of both of us, so here we are. <3 Also I tend to write quicker than I think, so if you see some errors, allow me. ;w; I normally scooch in and correct them later!
