Type: Emitter

Description: An emitter type quirk. Influence is a quirk which allows it’s host to influence the ‘emotions’ of the individuals around them. Once it is activated the host’s skin is unnoticably covered with the chemicals to ‘create’ said desired emotion. An example of this is, for instance, the host’s skin will secrete dopamine if euphoria(better known as happiness) is the desired emotion of another person. Though only when skin-to-skin contact is achieved will the quirk’s intended purpose take effect. Once the chemicals come in contact with another person’s skin it, effective immediately, transfers from the host to that person. When the transfer completes the quirk’s next step is to seep into the new host’s bloodstream, as to make its way to their brain. Though this part of the quirk’s route to success tends to take three to five minutes it still has a 97% success rate of effecting the intended target.

Usage: Kazumi uses his quirk with two different methods: physical touch and the other by means of paint. The former of the two choices is given, but the latter may be confusing. By using paint to use his quirk he unloads the chemicals he secretes into samples of paint. This paint is then needed to achieve physical contact with a target. Cleverly the boy has created a color code for what paint holds what chemical. This way only he knows how his paint will affect others if it lands on their skin.

Weakness / Setbacks: When using this quirk the host has the chance of creating a chemical imbalance in their brain. There are many symptoms caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, these symptoms are: feelings of sadness, helplessness, worthlessness, or emptiness - overeating or a loss of appetite - insomnia or sleeping too much - restlessness - irritability - a feeling of impending doom or danger - and a lack of energy.
