History

Keiji has lived with his father ever since his mother passed away, he had been through many troubles that had led him being isolated from the world. His mother passed away from natural causes, but that didn't stop Keiji from feeling like it was his fault. One day in high school he went up to the roof side to have alone time taking his shoes off and putting his glasses aside. To him, he had no meaning in life, so he jumped...but death wouldn't take him. The next day he would be in his own room laying in bed wondering how he got there. After that he decided to take in a new light and decided to change. He would start to open up to people he didn't know and try to get along with them and their differences. He went to college and got himself a job working as a clerk for a manga store.

When he is free he usually goes to a mall to observe new electronics and foods. He admires devices like phones, tvs and cameras. The college that he is applied to involves electronics and technology. You could probably say that Keiji is a total geek. At the mention of electronics he would go in a full sprint and explain how it operates and what you should get. He has a one track mind but also a kind soul.

Keido

Things were going well for Keiji, or so it seemed, you see there is so much he could take, the thoughts of returning to that dark part in his memories of trying to remember what happened that day in high school makes him go in a deep state of sleep letting 'Keido' out of his cage. Keido is Keiji's dark personality that influences him into doing menacing things, to destroying property, hurting people or worse. When Keido is done Keiji has no recollection of what happens and becomes in a heat of panic standing in the center of his work. He would believe that someone has killed them or they died from natural causes and call the cops. No one has caught him in the act for Keido makes sure that he cleans up his 'mess' when he is finished.

Learning the truth/ The Shōkan

One night Keiji was taken by a man known as Dierick Clouse, surprised by the man  who had came all the way from the United States just to meet him in Hokkaido. He took him to a limo and began to talk about the Akuma no Ryoken. Then Dierick told Keiji something that he would never believe; Keiji Inugami was the Akuma no Ryoken. Those words haunted Keiji, he lashed out at Dierick telling him that he was lying. But Dierick did not back down, for he pulled out a shuriken and told Keiji to take it.

Keiji hesitated before finally taking the shuriken between his fingers and soon gasped when memories began to overflow in his mind. He remembered this shuriken, he remembered  this shuriken, he remember this shuriken pinning a mobster to the ground while a sword in hand he slit the man's throat in cold blood.  From the sudden realization Keiji dropped the shuriken as tears began to overflow covering his face.     He knew that his life will never be the same, and wanted to turn himself in to the police. But Dierick decided against it and offered another way.

With Dierick's gudiance Keiji went to a location where he would be able to tame the monster inside of him and began to work as a vigilante and taking a new mask and gave himself a name: Shōkan.

Personality

Keiji is kind, considerate, and gullible at times while keeping a smile on his face. When he is in college he mostly acts sophisticated and forgets about his surroundings. He is shy around others; mostly around girls. He keeps some people that he feels suspicious away from him in any chance he can get. He doesn't want to get too close fearing that one day he might lose them or get pushed aside.

  • Yes how did you know stranger

  • "Mr. Laa...soon...en?"

    "Risto is fine."

    "Mr. Risto. Do you sense anything?"

    "You wait two minutes and expect miracle? Please. Give me time. I am not one of those fakes who comes up with a solution immediately," the slow, awkward cadence of the newcomer on the scene isn't surprising. He's lanky and thin, dressed in a warm coat accented with a scarf around his neck, long, black trousers, and shoes that look like he's kept since the 90's. He has an accent, too, one that's rarely heard in these parts. "I need gloves, please. And...chopsticks? Tweezers. Need those."

    His broken English only seems to give him more character. The crowd surprises him, usually the police would be doing a better job keeping them away from the scene, especially in front of a house. But given how fresh this scene is, Risto can barely complain.

    "Who is this man who died?" He asks another officer.

  • A mild twitch of a smile momentarily drifted on that face at that sudden fluster of his. As someone who already blatantly heard that she always looked troubled from various people, his attempt to rephrase his statement was actually amusing. She didn't really mind. "That was a charming masterpiece, Lord of the Rings and its lore. You have a good taste," she nodded with obvious approval. "But New Jersey, eh? Were you ever close to the Great Bay, by any chance?" She followed him there to the cash register, long dark hair fluttering right behind, her dainty steps hardly making any sound.

    As each manga was registered, nearly glowing, golden eyes intently watched that faint line of light every time an item was scanned. She knew nothing about the array of bars and numbers that the light had to touch, but that certainly brought forth a beeping sound each time. Her expression, akin to a puzzled cat took that all in with very obvious intrigue. That reminded her of the area's common grocery stores, minus the staring people. She cannot blame anyone, really. People always stare at something eccentric. The ocean doesn't have these things, after all.

    Blinking slightly, she took her time to process what she just heard from him, and nodded slowly. Discounts are always a good thing, right? Her wallet is already brimming with those cards, most of them she never really used, but there will always be room for one more. "Sure, I'd love that," she said. The female took a deep breath, as if she was about to ask something further, but instead quickly fished for something in her purse. Her wallet, for the sake of paying the stuff that she got, a small notepad, and a pen. It was either she was clueless or plain naive to what that might mean in the modern culture, but she slid her address over, very seriously so.

    Even her handwriting looked really old-fashioned, a cursive script usually seen in invitations. "The offer for the books still stand, good sir. Should you ever need me for anything, you can find me here."
  • (Well I just hit you up on the direct messages.. Hehe)
  • (RP between us would be modern. I hope you're familiar with the Tekken franchise haha)
  • (Oh yes sure thing! Which universe is your character from? Inuyasha?)
  • {Thank you for the invite! Did you want to write?}

  • Metallic eyes swept down to look at the map that was given over. The woman glanced up at him, then back at the paper on her hand. That usually serious, overcast face actually brightened at that, and she actually smiled. A genuine, serene one, not entirely expecting the random effort given. Some strangers will certainly go out of their way to be helpful. "Thank you," she said, carefully folding it and sliding it into her dress pocket. "This would be very helpful."

    He had no idea how precious that was. She can't even use a phone's map to guide herself around so she was better off with a manual one.

    Blinking slightly at the mention of books, her interest just seemed to grow. People nowadays were mostly indulged with their handheld devices that she was actually fascinated to hear someone ask about them. "Most of them were western novels, actually. A sibling of mine just stuffed them in my place in hopes of me picking up something to learn until I can get into college next semester." She still clutched the manga to her chest. "But I discovered that the local light novels were great, too."

    Well, she was actually looking for those when she stumbled upon here, but this is new material as well, something definitely worth exploring. So many pictures. "Well..." she hesitated for a moment, then looked back to him. "You can borrow some of mine if you want. If there's someone who can read them while I finish the others they won't be lonely."

    ||sorry for the lateness!||
  • (Would you mind?)

  • (That...is something he would totally do. it's perfect.)
