Leman Russ, also known as the "Wolf King" and the "Great Wolf" during his lifetime, is the currently missing Primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines. He led the Space Wolves Space Marine Legion during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy and is famed in Imperial history for his hatred of psychic powers and sorcery, whose use in battle he viewed as dishonourable and unworthy of true warriors. After receiving a disturbing vision in 211.M31, Leman Russ disappeared with the warriors of his bodyguard, his destination and fate unknown.
Russ, along with his brother Primarchs Angron and Vulkan, were considered to be the greatest warriors one-on-one amongst the Primarchs. Known for his fierce and sometimes barbaric personality, Leman Russ considered himself the Emperor of Mankind's most loyal son and executioner. he viewed his role as unquestionably carrying out the punishments requited by the Master of Mankind. Among the forces of Chaos he was known as "the Brawler."

"Thank you, I appreciate it all the same..." Rey said, wanting to make it clear that she was flattered by the offer. She sat down in one of the chairs as she continued to watch Lucia put on her armor.
She was briefly lost in her thoughts, but came back to the present upon hearing Lucia's question. "Oh, yes...well, the Jedi have been around for thousands of years, but I'm not sure if they ever came to your galaxy. No one here seems to know about them," she said reflectively before focusing on the question that had been asked. "What's it like to be a Jedi?" she asked rhetorically before leaning back in the seat and gazing towards the ceiling.
"To tell you the truth, it's hard to describe...especially because I might be the last one...but, it feels good, it feels right...like, it's exactly who I was meant to be," she said, her speech becoming slow with contemplation. No one had ever asked her that before.
Rey had to admit that Lucia's offer was tempting. To fight the battles against evil among other women of strength seemed like a more than decent path. Still, she felt it wasn't in her destiny.
"Oh, that's...very kind of you, but...I don't know," she said with a small shake of her head. "I'm content with where I am, protecting the Resistance and helping to keep the Jedi Order alive," she said, meaning every word, but realizing that maybe Lucia hadn't heard of that. They were two strong women with very different experiences.
"Oh, um...you probably don't know what I'm talking about," Rey said with a small, nervous laugh.
"Oh, I see..." Rey said, pretending to know what she was talking about to spare her from having to explain. When they entered Lucia's room, she couldn't help but notice the images of the Emperor. It was clear that she held a great deal of respect for him, to which Rey could not fathom why. He was just a corpse, wasn't he? Furthermore he hadn't seemed particularly helpful in their journey thus far.
Rey's attention was drawn to the armor on the stand, as she had never seen anything like it before except perhaps what Russ wore. "Oh, um...no, I can't say that I have," Rey said, wondering if Lucia was about to let her borrow some.
"Alright, sounds good," Rey said with a small smile as she watched him go before turning to Lucia. She continued to smile politely and nodded her head upon hearing the other woman's question.
"I would love to! Lead the way," she said before beginning to walk behind Lucia. She was glad that she was joining them on this mission, as it had been so refreshing to see another female since Rey's journey began. "So, Lucia...how long have you known Russ?"
The young Jedi watched as Lucia and Russ interacted, and she wondered if they had a long history together; it seemed that they did, judging from the way they acted around each other.
Upon hearing Russ's question she looked back towards him and nodded. "Yes, they should be easy to find. And if not, they'll certainly try to find us," she said, suddenly worried about everyone and hoping that they were doing alright. The sooner they could get back to the Resistance base, the better. "How much longer?"
Rey was quiet for some time as she listened to Russ. She had noticed that Lucia was there, but was unsure of how to greet her in this moment. After hearing from both of them she made a silent decision and nodded.
"Well...it sounds like this will be mutually beneficial. When you put it that way, I'm sure we'll be able to persuade the others, especially if I agree with you on this," she smiled wearily as she looked back and forth between them. "It's good to see you again, Lucia...I assume you heard everything?" she asked, but was willing to explain further if she needed to.
"I'm certain you are necessary," Rey said as she looked up at him. "The universe is a big place, so it makes sense there'd be lots of big threats," she added before glancing to the side, and it was clear there was something else on her mind.
"Russ, can you promise me something?" she asked as she looked towards him once again with a solemn and serious expression. "If we do agree to accept this rule...can you promise that it will only be for survival, and they won't try to change or control us? Because if not...I don't know if anyone back home will say yes."
Rey couldn't help but feel somewhat belittled by his comments, but she simply sighed and gave a shrug of her shoulders. She couldn't deny that he had a good point.
"I suppose we see threats differently than you do. And they wouldn't be such an imposing group if we had larger numbers," she said before shaking her head slightly. "We haven't had the time or the resources to focus on other enemies, considering that the First Order seems to be the only group who wants to destroy us."
Rey let her hands fall to her sides as she took a few steps away. "But you make a good point, Russ...we can barely hold our own against the First Order, so if something bigger came along...I'm not sure we'd survive."
She nodded in response and glanced away in thought. "Well, when you really think about it...the First Order only has enough people to fill one Star Destroyer...that's not a great number, perhaps 10,000 at the very most," she said in confidence.
"But those are merely storm troopers and officers. They could not possibly hope to win against a Jedi, let alone a warrior like you. With Kylo Ren brought to justice, they've lost their greatest fighter. I believe this will work," she said, nodding firmly as she looked back towards him.
"Hmm..." Rey pondered over what he had said. She wished he had said this sooner, otherwise something could've been done about it. On the other hand...she didn't believe that his concern was completely warranted.
"Well, if the men you've brought fight anything like you do...I think it's going to make a world of difference," she said as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "You helped us win a battle almost entirely on your own...as long as you think you can do that again, even just once...I think we'll be just fine," Rey said, and she meant every word.
