(Characters are still a WIP but here's the basics for some of them)

Korrin:
When your left in a back alley with your throat slit ear to ear it's easy to give up and die. Korrin almost did too, but as he began to black out he came to a stunning realization. It's his blood so why doesn't he just.. put it back. It was a dying man's deranged thought, but on that night it actually worked. As he thought about it the blood reversed it's flow and life filled him again. After that he learned to use his new found power to hunt down the 'friends' who betrayed him. The wound on his neck never fully healed so he wears a scarf most of the time hiding it and when he uses his powers this is where the blood comes from.

Draven:
Draven comes from a land where his people were nearly exterminated when the surrounding kingdoms turned on them for the gold mines that run under the mountains. His people retreated into these mines and using the narrow passages they were able to survive as they built out cities deep under ground. There they flourished once more in safety and were able to reclaim their once lost homeland with Draven leading the armies. This new found golden age wouldn't last as it seems that gold wasn't the only thing buried under the mountains. An ancient evil was awoken in one of the deeper cities and after weeks of loss and confusion Draven led his personal Guard against the beast and came out victorious, but when he destroyed it's mortal form the beast took up residence in his body. To prevent the beast ever escaping again he exiled himself and now travels the lands looking for a way to seal it for good.

Andrew:
Some people just really don't like to be told what to do. Andrew was one of them. Growing up in the foster system wasn't easy and he ended up with a bike gang not long after he turned 18 and moved out on his own. Now at 27 he is the leader of the gang and has grown it to be one of the largest in the southern states. Now he has all he could want. Money, Women, Power. Though he could use a little more excitement now and then.

Brokai:

Looking at him you'd never tell he had once been a jedi, unless you noticed the light sabers on his hip that is. At one point he seemed to be a promising candidate for master and had made quite a name for himself before he became disillusioned with the order and dropped off the radar. Many thought he was dead until rumors began surfacing that he had become a smuggler and was living a simple life free of the restrictions of the order. In the years that followed many jedi and Sith alike had come after him both for revenge and to get rid of the stain on the order. So far he's managed to fight off or escape any and all of his would be assassins and still travels the galaxy.

  • "Just mind your manners and be nice, you'll do just fine," Rey said as she undid her seatbelt and found BB-8. "I bet you're glad to be home," she said to the droid, who beeped with enthusiastic agreement.

Rey grabbed her things and walked over to the door before pushing the button that activated the landing platform. The three crew members walked out into the sun and made their way towards the heart of the base. Along the way, Rey was greeted quite often, and although she would never refer to herself as such, she had become something of a hero since the battle of Crait.

The young woman smiled happily at her friends and acquintances, but really there was only one person she was dying to see. Suddenly gasping and running forward, Rey saw her best friend and collided into him with an open hug. "Rey!" Finn called out as he returned the embrace. They talked and laughed for a few moments, when Rey suddenly realized that she should have been introducing Brokai.

"Oh! Um...Finn, this is Brokai...he's a Je-....I mean, he's just like me," she explained while looking over at her new companion. Finn nodded and reached out his hand for Brokai to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Brokai. We really appreciate you coming here," he said sincerely.

  • Very soon a voice came through on the ship's communicator. "This is Commander Dameron, Rey, is that you?" Rey smiled upon hearing Poe's voice; she felt like she had not heard it in forever.

"Hi Poe! Yes, I'll be on the ground shortly. And I've brought help," she explained while engaging in the landing cycle.

"Finally some good news! We'll see you soon, Rey," The crackly voice cut out and the Falcon took a sharp dive downwards below the atmosphere. In what felt like no time at all, the ship had broken through the clouds, and Brokai could see the small outline of a rebel base, sitting against the mountainside. All members of crew were rushing back and forth, transporting material, sending messages, and performing many other tasks.

With undeniable skill, Rey landed the Falcon in one of the docking bays, and she sighed slightly in relief. "You ready?" She asked, knowing that this would be a very big change for him.

  • "Noted..." Rey said with a nod before walking back into the cockpit and sitting down in the Captain's chair. Through the Falcon's window they could see a red orange planet that looked as though it were the size of a marble, but was now starting to get larger and larger. She needed to start making the landing preperations.

"I'm going to start the landing cycle, might want to hold onto something," Rey announced as she began flipping switches and pressing buttons. Truthfully, she wasn't sure what kind of reaction Leia and the others would have, but perhaps they would be happy enough just to know that some help had come.

  • *by his attitude

  • Rey was still somewhat disgruntled his attitude, but figured that he had valid reasons for thinking the way he did. And there was nothing she could do about that.

"Hm," she looked up in thought after hearing his question. "I guess the first thing we'll do is introduce you to Leia and Poe, they sort of run things around there. Maybe there's something specific they'll want you to work on? I'm not quite sure to be honest," Rey admitted. She wondered what the others would think of him, and hoped that his behavior would not cast a poor reflection on her decision-making abilities.

  • She frowned slightly at his pessismistic comment. Just when she thought they were making progress, she thought. In truth her Jedi statement was more of a joke, and she didn't mean it seriously. She didn't consider herself a Jedi either.

"I never said we should be blind, but I think we have reasonable grounds to be hopeful, especially after all we've been through," she explained confidently. "We'll never get anywhere if we only focus on what we're doing wrong."

  • She was a bit sad when he turned the music off, but she also understood why he did so. She would have to start making the landing preperations soon enough.

"Yes, I did," Rey said with a small nod. "I helped the Resistance escape from a blocked cave on Crait, and I also gave them a ride" she added with a slight chuckle. She was very modest about it, but in truth her actions on the planet were worth more than she could ever realize. After his next comment, she tilted her head slightly. "I don't know about that...I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. We're stronger now than we were, and we have an extra Jedi at our side to boot" she said with a smirk.

  • Rey took a moment to think about his comment. "Well, I suppose we might be discovered one day, but we've been pretty lucky so far. Honestly I think the First Order might be more preoccupied with their loss than trying to find us right now", she explained, and reflected upon the battle of Crait. It was a hopeless fight that should have been a clear win for the First Order, but it wasn't.

They suffered a heavy loss, especially the new Supreme Leader. Rey did wonder about Kylo from time to time, not in a sympathetic way, as his moral compass was certainly questionable. But she wondered if he truly believed in the cause he was fighting for.

  • "Hmm," Rey checked the ship's clock and saw that they only had less than an hour left in the trip. When Brokai asked his question, she looked back at him with a subtle smile.

"We're going to Yavin. It used to be a prominent Rebel base, but it was abandoned for some time until we found it. Did you know that's where the Rebels joined up before attacking the first Death Star?" Rey asked him with excitement. She could not help but share the stories of her childhood, the tales that made her heart full with hope and a deep longing to join the cause.

  • She turned her attention back to him when he asked the question. She was surprised at what he was asking, considering that he had only met her a couple hours ago. The fact that he trusted her with such a thing was shocking to say the least.

"Oh, um...yes, of course. But something tells me that won't happen, at least, not anytime soon," Rey replied, glancing down at her own light saber and briefly wondered what would happen to it after she was gone.
