(Characters are still a WIP but here's the basics for some of them)

Korrin:
When your left in a back alley with your throat slit ear to ear it's easy to give up and die. Korrin almost did too, but as he began to black out he came to a stunning realization. It's his blood so why doesn't he just.. put it back. It was a dying man's deranged thought, but on that night it actually worked. As he thought about it the blood reversed it's flow and life filled him again. After that he learned to use his new found power to hunt down the 'friends' who betrayed him. The wound on his neck never fully healed so he wears a scarf most of the time hiding it and when he uses his powers this is where the blood comes from.

Draven:
Draven comes from a land where his people were nearly exterminated when the surrounding kingdoms turned on them for the gold mines that run under the mountains. His people retreated into these mines and using the narrow passages they were able to survive as they built out cities deep under ground. There they flourished once more in safety and were able to reclaim their once lost homeland with Draven leading the armies. This new found golden age wouldn't last as it seems that gold wasn't the only thing buried under the mountains. An ancient evil was awoken in one of the deeper cities and after weeks of loss and confusion Draven led his personal Guard against the beast and came out victorious, but when he destroyed it's mortal form the beast took up residence in his body. To prevent the beast ever escaping again he exiled himself and now travels the lands looking for a way to seal it for good.

Andrew:
Some people just really don't like to be told what to do. Andrew was one of them. Growing up in the foster system wasn't easy and he ended up with a bike gang not long after he turned 18 and moved out on his own. Now at 27 he is the leader of the gang and has grown it to be one of the largest in the southern states. Now he has all he could want. Money, Women, Power. Though he could use a little more excitement now and then.

Brokai:

Looking at him you'd never tell he had once been a jedi, unless you noticed the light sabers on his hip that is. At one point he seemed to be a promising candidate for master and had made quite a name for himself before he became disillusioned with the order and dropped off the radar. Many thought he was dead until rumors began surfacing that he had become a smuggler and was living a simple life free of the restrictions of the order. In the years that followed many jedi and Sith alike had come after him both for revenge and to get rid of the stain on the order. So far he's managed to fight off or escape any and all of his would be assassins and still travels the galaxy.

Conner:

Conner has always been rebellious. Thrown out of every school he was sent to he finally dropped out completely and after a few years living on the street he turned himself around and joined the military. There he found his place and joined the special forces. During his time there they were subjected to numerous experimental drugs and conditioning programs until they were the perfect soldiers. The drugs were derived from the results of the weapon X program and gave them superhuman healing as well as increasing their endurance although not even near the level of the origional subject, and the conditioning left them all but unable to question their orders. Weather it was a stroke of luck or Conner's naturally rebelious nature he came to his senses after a particuarily brutal mission and couldn't belive what they had become and the things they had done. He knew he couldn't go back to that and before the others realized what was happening he killed his squadmates and fled off into the desert. He's been on the run ever since waiting for a way to repay those who had turned him into the monster he is now.

Thomas:

Thomas alsways knew what he wanted to do with his life and the first chance he got he joined the Green Lantern Corps. He was just a young kid in over his head throughout training but did well and slowly began to make a name for himself. This changed however when he and his team was ambushed out in the field and he was the only survivor. Watching his friends, and girlfriend at the time, was too much for him and he was left a broken man. It took months of theapy for him to don the ring again. He's still trying to move on and gain the confidence he once had, but he's worried it will never be the same. The only thing that keeps him going is the hope that he can make sure that no one else has to go through what he did.

  • "We'll see.." Rey said with a smirk as she nodded in agreement and stood up from her seat. She laughed at his joke, glad to see that the old Brokai was still up and running.

As they departed the ship, Rey glanced fondly at her friends and allies, but always made sure not to stray too far from Brokai. She knew that he was still a bit uncomfortable with this group and was still finding his way. As they entered the base, they saw Leia, Poe and several Resistance officers standing around a hologram of the galaxy. "Well?" Rey asked as she turned to Brokai. "Was there something you wanted to ask them? Something about a camera or two?" She asked with a smile, knowing that he'd be able to do it. She had full faith in him.

  • As Rey continued to listen, a very soft but faint smile could be seen on her lips. She took a moment to briefly glimpse into Brokai's thoughts as gently as she could. He was telling her the truth, and that was when Rey knew that he really did belong here. Deep down, she knew it all along...it was just a matter of him saying these words that solidifed that notion.

"I sure do," she said with a slow nod and a smile. "And you're right, you didn't do any of the things you thought you were going to. You know something, Brokai?" She asked, smiling as she leaned in a little closer to softly place a hand on his shoulder. "I think you're more of a Rebel than you thought you were..." she said with a kind smile and a touch of teasing energy.

  • The young Jedi looked out the cockpit window towards the Resistance base. She watched as the rescued rebels reunited with their friends. It was a happy scene, but in this moment she felt joyless.

Brokai had lied to her. Or at least...that was how she initially saw it. She acknowledged his presence as he sat down, and thought carefully about what to say next. She didn't want to risk hurting his feelings again, not this time.

"Look, um..." she started, bringing her hands up to her chin and staring off to the side. As she paused to reflect, she realized that Brokai had told her nothing but the truth this whole time. It was Rey who was lying to herself, she had looked at him and seen only what she wanted to see; unable to accept the truth about who he was or what he really wanted to do.

"Whatever you've done in your past...I don't care," she said eventually with a small shake of her head. "That doesn't matter to me now...but...I worry that I've dragged you into this," she paused and made eye contact with him for the first time since he sat down beside her. "When I first met you, I was trying to convince you to join the Resistance, and I thought I did, but..." she paused again, and it seemed she was having trouble getting the words out. She hated talks like this, and it seemed she was having a lot of them lately.

"I thought I knew what side you were on, but now I'm not so sure. If you want to leave....if you want to go back to where you came from, that's fine, I can take you there, but..." she exhaled and blinked rapidly to avoid crying again. "If you didn't want to be here....everything that we've done...what you and I have shared..." she said, gesturing between them and sighing.

    "Was it all for nothing?"

  • As Rey continued to listen, her expression changed completely. She was trying to determine if he really was being serious, or if this was just another of his many jokes. Somehow...she didn't think it was. Either way, before she really had a chance to reply, someone from the cockpit said that they were coming out of lightspeed. Rey would need to begin the descent course as soon as possible.

"I....um..." she stammered, looking back and forth between Brokai and the Resistance fighter. "We can talk about it later," was what she managed to say before nodding and making her way back towards the Captain's chair. She felt bad to leave him like that, but she didn't have much of a choice if they were going to land safely.

"Hold on, everyone!" Rey called out as she begun the landing cycle. Everyone else on board sat down and strapped themselves in. The ship began to sway a little as it broke through the atmosphere, but pretty soon the ground and Rebel base was in sight. As usual, Rey expertly landed the Falcon alongside the other Resistance ships, right where it was meant to go. As the ship's engines started cooling down and the landing platform was opened, the Resistance team thanked both Rey and Brokai as they left to join the base once again.

Rey, however, was still sitting in the Captain's chair, as if frozen. Brokai's most recent words echoing in her mind. She didn't know how to take this information, or what to do with it.

  • [(My apologies for the tardiness.. My few times on site before I had trouble loading everything so I ended up behind on comments, and also unable to remember which I replied too. For an few days recently I was in the hospital.)]

~ Wanda was there on sight with the rest of the Avengers as both VIP's and also for security for advance of the speech coming later about Iron Man's sacrifice, looking on the ground as Hawkeye covered from an rooftop, and as Sam patrolled from the skies. Frowning she tilted her head to the side as she received an report from Sam about an suspicious person seated across the street from the park, that had been there for awhile. Replying that she would take a look she looked up to the rooftop where Hawkeye was and smirked slightly as her mentor cautioned her, shaking her head she holds her hands out to her sides, her magic making her hands glow as well as her eyes as she levitates up into the air, floating in the air as the length of her red coar flutters in the wind as she does, landing by the suspicious man she dissipates her magic and carefully approaches. ~ "Hello.. Is there anything I can help you with?"

  • The Black Widow arched an brow at the man standing at the entrance to the elevator doors.when they suddenly opened, stiffing as she sees him going for his weapon, but when he obviously changes his mind she doesn't relax, if anything the redhead went even more on guard. "CIA? Odd... We hadn't received any transmission from anyone about interest in HYDRA. What weapon do they have?" An open challenge as she stealthily alerts her team about an unknown, also queing in for Tony to overhear so he could double check if CIA was actually involved. "I'm called Black Widow.."

The Redheaded Avenger speaks plainly with an half smirk on the corner of her mouth. "I wonder how you managed to get in past their shields? It took Iron Man an bit of time to enter..."

  • (Its fine, I haven't been doing so great myself but I'm getting better.. Is my idea ok? Since Arctic Storm and Peter will have separate safe houses, perhaps as she goes after Bucky she could enter in an fight with an Avenger and sustains an concussion that breaks her free from the trigger words? Then Peter would have to command Hydra to get her back.. I think it could be interesting.)

  • Quicker than one could possibly think The Arctic Storm had moved from her spot to be protectively in front of Peter, her second mission mandate commanding her response, that she was to protect his life at all costs. Glaring menacingly toward Landon she remains still, waiting for orders to kill or for Landon to make an move that could be described as threatening and she would respond quickly. She hadn't heard an single word spoken between the two men, not that she would've cared but when Landon had approached Peter and Peter had grown stern she had quickly responded to protect him if need be.

Landon gulped seeing Arctic Storm abruptly appear, looking from her to Peter he nods and quickly turns and flees, his tail between his legs if he had been an wolf. Once off the plane he would wave his hand frantically to tell the pilots to take off, stepping back he watches as the plane takes off to begin the flight for New York, USA.

Finding no more threat to Peter the Arctic Storm moved back to her original position, standing at attention for the entire flight. For the entire 11 hour flight she didn't move a single muscle, when the plane started to descend she remains still to await her new orders.

Once the plane came to an complete stop the doors were opened and three men climbed on board, immediately catching sight of Peter all three men snapped to attention and saluted. One man, the leader of the Forces in New York stepped forward. "Sir, I am Andrew Kirk, welcome to New York. I'm ordered to transport you to your safe house. My commrads will make sure The Arctic Storm is transported to her safe house and let her begin her mission, we have an bike she is able to use. We also have an armored car for you as well, Sir. If we have your permission?"

  • She chuckled when he made his joke and she also took a couple sips as she waited for him to respond to her question. Upon hearing his answer she immediately shook her head.

"No, you just can't think like that anymore. You want the First Order to be defeated, right? That's why you came with me when I found you on that planet. You care about what happens to this universe, and you helped me save some of my dearest friends from a First Order scheme. If that doesn't mean you belong here, than none of us do," Rey said, firmly but with kindness.

  • While Rey did spend some time in the Captain's chair, she would occassionally leave and go join her friends in the lounge. Everyone seemed to be in a pleasant mood, and it was not hard to see why. They were finally going back home, back to safety, after being thrown into an uncertain situation in which they thought they might die.

Whenever Brokai would look for Rey, she could tell that he was feeling a little less than comfortable. She expected this to be the case, and gave him a small nod as if to say "It's going to be okay, just be yourself."

Towards the end of the trip, she decided to speak with him after passing around some drinks that had been stowed on the Falcon. "Want one?" she asked before holding it out to him. "We should be there in less than an hour, how are you doing?" She asked somewhat quietly as to not draw attention.
