(Characters are still a WIP but here's the basics for some of them)

Korrin:
When your left in a back alley with your throat slit ear to ear it's easy to give up and die. Korrin almost did too, but as he began to black out he came to a stunning realization. It's his blood so why doesn't he just.. put it back. It was a dying man's deranged thought, but on that night it actually worked. As he thought about it the blood reversed it's flow and life filled him again. After that he learned to use his new found power to hunt down the 'friends' who betrayed him. The wound on his neck never fully healed so he wears a scarf most of the time hiding it and when he uses his powers this is where the blood comes from.

Draven:
Draven comes from a land where his people were nearly exterminated when the surrounding kingdoms turned on them for the gold mines that run under the mountains. His people retreated into these mines and using the narrow passages they were able to survive as they built out cities deep under ground. There they flourished once more in safety and were able to reclaim their once lost homeland with Draven leading the armies. This new found golden age wouldn't last as it seems that gold wasn't the only thing buried under the mountains. An ancient evil was awoken in one of the deeper cities and after weeks of loss and confusion Draven led his personal Guard against the beast and came out victorious, but when he destroyed it's mortal form the beast took up residence in his body. To prevent the beast ever escaping again he exiled himself and now travels the lands looking for a way to seal it for good.

Andrew:
Some people just really don't like to be told what to do. Andrew was one of them. Growing up in the foster system wasn't easy and he ended up with a bike gang not long after he turned 18 and moved out on his own. Now at 27 he is the leader of the gang and has grown it to be one of the largest in the southern states. Now he has all he could want. Money, Women, Power. Though he could use a little more excitement now and then.

Brokai:

Looking at him you'd never tell he had once been a jedi, unless you noticed the light sabers on his hip that is. At one point he seemed to be a promising candidate for master and had made quite a name for himself before he became disillusioned with the order and dropped off the radar. Many thought he was dead until rumors began surfacing that he had become a smuggler and was living a simple life free of the restrictions of the order. In the years that followed many jedi and Sith alike had come after him both for revenge and to get rid of the stain on the order. So far he's managed to fight off or escape any and all of his would be assassins and still travels the galaxy.

Conner:

Conner has always been rebellious. Thrown out of every school he was sent to he finally dropped out completely and after a few years living on the street he turned himself around and joined the military. There he found his place and joined the special forces. During his time there they were subjected to numerous experimental drugs and conditioning programs until they were the perfect soldiers. The drugs were derived from the results of the weapon X program and gave them superhuman healing as well as increasing their endurance although not even near the level of the origional subject, and the conditioning left them all but unable to question their orders. Weather it was a stroke of luck or Conner's naturally rebelious nature he came to his senses after a particuarily brutal mission and couldn't belive what they had become and the things they had done. He knew he couldn't go back to that and before the others realized what was happening he killed his squadmates and fled off into the desert. He's been on the run ever since waiting for a way to repay those who had turned him into the monster he is now.

Thomas:

Thomas alsways knew what he wanted to do with his life and the first chance he got he joined the Green Lantern Corps. He was just a young kid in over his head throughout training but did well and slowly began to make a name for himself. This changed however when he and his team was ambushed out in the field and he was the only survivor. Watching his friends, and girlfriend at the time, was too much for him and he was left a broken man. It took months of theapy for him to don the ring again. He's still trying to move on and gain the confidence he once had, but he's worried it will never be the same. The only thing that keeps him going is the hope that he can make sure that no one else has to go through what he did.

  • The young woman slowly shook her head at him, honestly baffled by his words. "So you don't care what happens to everyone? You just want to make a profit?" She waited for his response, but instead was asked a question about Luke's light saber.

Upon hearing this, her demeanor changed slightly. She tried to remember what Maz Kanata had said to her, all those months ago. "It was passed down in the Skywalker family...that's all I know," Rey admitted with a small shrug. She has also sensed the strange feelings from the weapon, but could never put it into words.

  • Rey wasn't expecting such a pessimistic reaction; although given her previous experiences, she shouldn't have been surprised.

"That's not true..." she said, softly but defiantly. "There is still hope. It's only over if we give up. I'm not going to leave my friends, no matter what happens..." she said, allowing thoughts of Finn to briefly drift into her mind. She was caught off guard when her lightsaber flew off her belt and into the other man's grasp. 'So he really can use the force,' Rey thought to herself.

She didn't like the idea of him holding her lightsaber, but perhaps it was fine for now. "Yes..." Rey agreed at his comment. "It belonged to my old master. He's gone now. It's all I have left of him."

  • She found herself a bit relieved that the situation didn't seem to be escalating anymore. Even still, Rey knew that she needed to choose her next words very carefully.

"I understand, and I'm sorry that we came without warning. To be honest, we weren't sure if you were really here or not," Rey explained, glancing down at BB-8 for a second before looking back up at the man. He was right, she needed to tell him why she was really here.

"My name is Rey, and this is BB-8. We're from the Resistance," she paused, allowing the information to settle. "A couple days ago, we heard a rumor that there was another Jedi survivor, somewhere in the Outer Rim. I'm not exactly a Jedi, but...I can use the force, so, we decided that I would investigate." She paused again, and wasn't sure what to say next. "So...I guess what we were really hoping, was that...someone with your abilities would be willing to help us in our fight against the First Order. That's why we're here," Rey finished, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of deja vu, this scenario was similar to another moment she had experienced, not so long ago.

  • To say that Rey was dissapointed would have been an understatement. Of course, it was just like her to get her hopes so high like this. She should have known better than to believe there was another good, noble Jedi out there that she could trust. This man did not look like someone to be trifled with, but Rey was not about to be intimidated, or let Han Solo's ship fall into the wrong hands.

"Absolutely not. If there is anyone to blame for damaging your speeder, it's you," Rey said. At first she seemed uncaring and irritated (which she was). But she remembered why she was here, and made a decision to stay empathetic and hopeful.

"Look...I don't want any trouble with you, I really don't; but if you're really that upset about your speeder, I could probably fix it, if that's alright with you," Rey said, assuming a calmer tone and taking a single step towards the man. BB-8 remained behind her, but was ready to defend its friend if it had to.

  • Almost instantly, Rey felt the energy of someone approaching; although she could not tell if they were hostile or not. "Hold on," she said, holding out a hand to stop BB-8 from going any further. Rey's instincts served her well, not a second a later the two friends saw the flying speeder soar through the air and land just a few feet away from where they were standing.

"That's a waste of a good speeder..." Rey said, staring at the mangled machine in slight annoyance. Perhaps it could be fixed, but now was not the time to dwell on such things. "Stay close," Rey spoke quietly to the droid, who rolled over to her side, beeping nervously. The young woman kept a hand on her light saber hilt, but she would not ignite it unless she had no choice. Perhaps they had made a mistake in coming here after all.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" Rey called out into the vast jungle.

  • // Good. Busy. I'll be spending my weekend babysitting my nephew, so I'm probably not going to be able to write until monday at least. How's yourself? \\

  • The Miliennium Falcon glided through the stars, like a small boat in a vast sea of sparkling lights. Rey sat in the Captain's seat and pondered over what the future held. Not two days ago, the Resistance had received an anonymous tip that detailed the possibility of another surviving Jedi, somewhere in the galaxy. It was decided right away that Rey should investigate, and she was happy to do so, with a little help of course. Poe was reluctant to send his beloved droid on this mission, but BB-8 insisted after having been apart from Rey for so long. The little droid rolled back into the cockpit and Rey smiled at it. "This could be dangerous...I hope you know what you're in for." BB-8 gave a confident beep and she chuckled from knowing its meaning.

"I think you're right," she responded before looking back at the control panel. If the sender of the information was correct, they were getting very close to the planet of this supposed Jedi. Who could they be? Rey wondered. The Resistance needed all the help they could get, especially after the battle of Crait. The young woman had considered the fact that this could be a trap, but on the other hand, it could also be an opportunity to find a powerful ally.

"I'm going to start the descent, hold on," Rey said as the ship began to break the atmosphere of the planet. It was not a smooth descent, but Rey had endured much worse. After some resistance, the Falcon became steady, and Rey landed the ship on the surface of the planet. "Alright, let's go take a look," Rey said as she clipped her light saber to her belt, just in case. BB-8 showed no fear as it rolled across the hall and towards the door. Rey pressed the button that activated the landing platform, and the two friends stepped out into a completely new world.

  • ( Yes, I agree that story-wise maybe it does make more sense for me. I shall send my starter very soon! Thanks )

  • (Korrin or Draven sound pretty cool! A little more supernatural-y)

  • Ahahaha, o'hey. ^-^
