Maya | "My-a"
Full Blooded Fairy
22 | "Ages Gracefully"
Neutral | Leans towards Good
Single | Independent | Not Looking
Born in the secluded forests of Katalam located in Russia, Maya lived a relatively normal life for a Fairy. Her tribe consisted of mostly Earth Fairies. Still, her clan accepted her just as they had her mother all those years ago. With no mentor due to elemental differences, Maya has barely begun to scratch the surface of her Fae abilities.
As the past would state. Maya's mother fell from the Heavens long ago. A Fae servant to the Angels she'd no longer be. Maya's mother had always seen the logic in Lucifer's ways and thus made a choice. This lead her mother through trials like no other.
Some believe Lucifer was the reason for her Mother's death. Other's say Ceres (Maya's Mother) lost touch with reality when the Void corrupted her.
Either way, Maya was young when her mother "abandon" her. A dangerous quest became her downfall. Only now that Maya has chosen to venture out of Katalam's Woodlands and into civilization has she begun to unravel the great battle that was fought on the very grounds she thrived.
The Golden Child..
50% Arabic / 50% Unknown
Not such a Golden Child after all. Maya's birth was a complete accident. Not only that, it was completely against her mother's will. Her father not only ran experiments on, but raped Maya's mother on several occasions in order to create the "Perfect" Hybrid. Unfortunately, Maya was not that prize he sought.
Once her mother escaped to freedom, she kept Maya a secret from everyone except her Fae Clan. While Maya was completely unplanned and conceived under the worst of conditions, Ceres still loved Maya dearly.
While Maya does not know this history, it's expected that one day she will find out. Perhaps the origins of her half-brother will come to light. While Maya has heard rumors of a half-kin, she's yet to see or discover more about him.
Her mother has left her specific instructions. Being the good daughter she is, it's likely Maya will follow. "Find Jett, Stay with him, and don't trust anyone else."
"The Stars, They Call to Me"
Maya is a Water Fairy, thus her abilities mirror her origins. This doesn't stop her from having a deep affinity with the stars. She's always been not only fascinated but drawn to them. While the answer lies in her father's genes, Maya is not yet aware of this. The recessive traits of her father have left her with virtually nothing but his looks. Maya is still learning and has barely begun to develop her elemental nature. Most abilities will appear as her story progresses and she learns!
Abilities
Basic Water Magic: While still under heavy development, Maya has managed to form small water spears and other projectiles. Unfortunately, her control is very unstable and often isn't reliable in battle.
Fairy Dust: Often Sought after by hunters and witches alike. Maya has never used this dust on anyone and doesn't actually know the effects of it. The dust naturally forms and collects on her wings only falling off when there is excess. It is said to be highly popular on the black market.
Water Healing: Maya can use bodies of water such as Rivers, Lakes, etc. to heal herself or others.
Water Dancing: An enchanting dance that holds little to no beneficial effects. It is said to cure minor ailments such as poisons and other sicknesses. This ability has also been known to grant rest to the warry, and overall produce a calming effect.
Charm Dancing: A secret dance that Maya has discovered the effects of overtime. Once practiced alone for her own peace and comfort, the Fairy quickly learned of its alluring effects on other creatures. While it seems to affect animals and beasts more strongly, her dancing can soothe and draw in most anyone; some may simply feel a sense of ease while others could be afflicted enough to where Maya could impose her will on the target. It is her version of a Siren song. She's only ever used this ability on Jett per his request.
Once a well sought after piece for its power. The necklace was stolen from the King of the Stars and passed to Maya's mother, Ceres. It is said the necklace was once guarded by an ancient Ronin Tribe in the mountains of present-day Japan. Maya's mother guarded this with her life, only parting with it before the Great War began. With the help of several Fae elders, Ceres buried the powerful artifact inside of Maya. The Necklace no longer exists, but its power remains. It is a power Maya cannot wield herself. In compliance with the rules put into effect by the elders, the Talisman will only show its face when its owner trusts a wielder.
Absolute LawThen & Now
Then: The Talisman of Absolute Law was a once heavily guarded object, that could only be channeled by extremely high magical abilities and immense stamina. The Necklace had the ability to bring lesser beings to their knees in unwavering compliance. Stolen by the King's servant in order to maintain balance and safety for others, Maya's mother acquired and protected the artifact in this state.
Now: Currently resonating with Maya's soul. The Talisman is dissolved, its power reduced to a weapon. While the weapon bares great strength and unknown abilities, it can no longer be wielded by just anyone. Maya makes that choice unknowingly based on her trust levels. A sigil, hidden to all eyes, will slowly become more and more visible to her trusted companion with time. Only when fully ignited can the weapon be summoned from the sigil located below her neck, between her collarbones. Maya is unaware of this power buried within. It only adds to the confidence her mother had in her. While this helped Ceres, the elders had another motive. When Maya dies, the Talisman as well will see its last light.
Relationships and Meaningful Interactions
VASHARTI "VASH"| BROTHER | ALIVE
Maya's half-brother. Vash boasts a different mother, but he's yet to reveal who that is. The two have recently met and not yet shared much information with one another. Maya is much weaker than him, but Vash seems oddly accepting. He appears to have a brotherly protectiveness about him. While he's eager to take Maya to his home planet in the stars, Maya has thus far declined. Perhaps this explains her affinity to the Stars all along.
Maya's protector. Jett had vowed to fulfill a favor to Maya's mother while she took her last breaths. However, Jett was not expecting a child of all favors. While Maya's mother trusted Jett with her life, she trusted no one with the knowledge of Maya's life. Thus Maya followed her mother's orders and sought Jett out. He protects her with his life, and she tells him stories of her mother from the past. These stories somehow comfort the Lost Soul
(My Retired Character of 9 years) Maya's Mother. Ceres cared for her daughter dearly and her quest for power was the final piece she needed to keep her daughter safe. Ceres ended up claiming the Void's power. This eventually drove her to gentle insanity. With a crazy plan to face the King of the Stars, Ceres and Jett eventually became Amir's downfall. This came at a cost; Ceres did not leave the battle alive. However, she entrusted Jett with Maya's wellbeing and happily said her final goodbyes knowing her daughter was free of her looming Father.
(Retired character of Vasharti's Player) Father to Maya. She's never met him and was quickly hidden away from him by her mother. She retains several features of his physically, but virtually none of his Cosmic abilities. While Maya knows of his wrong-doings as well as his passing, she has no interest in learning more about him. Maya was his first attempt and creating the perfect Starcaller. Unfortunately, she was a failure. While she's technically Royalty, she has no interest in claiming her father's fallen title of King "Queen" of the Stars.

//Sounds wonderful. I look forward to reading your prose. ^_^//
Lynn had felt something deep within the city. Though she did not take the means of territory unless it was around her own home which was hardly in New York itself. It was closer to the woodlands of Pennsylvania, but close enough that every day she could make it down to her shop where she currently was that was rested in Queens.
The Knight felt something familiar. She knew she had felt it once before, not once, but many times. She'd known it, bedded it, loved it, and now hated it. But never feared. She abhorred it. She wanted it gone, and she had dared him to leave, pushed him to leave her alone but here he was again tormenting her again by being in what she considered her territory. It was not, never would be. She never liked to take claims but this? At this time? She didn't want him anywhere close.
Damn that man.
Lynn's own power made the lights go on a slight fritz with the threatening power that rested beneath the surface of her protective field around herself at all times. The one she attempted not to show. Her workers here were used to it by now, and thankfully they never put two and two together that the lights only strobed when she was angry.
"There they go again," Raoul observed who was currently cleaning out a coffee pot. He looked up at the spazing lights.
"Yes, there they go again." Lynn agreed with a dead tone. She looked from side to side as if expecting he would bust through the doors at any living moment. He did not. Was he toying with the Knight yet again? He loved to do that after all. He had told her himself.
"Raoul, might I ask that you watch the shop? I must step out for something. If it comes to such, you know how to close the shop." It was late, though the coffee shop closed at three and it was now clean up time for the workers.
He looked up from his sparkling pot. "Is something the matter?"
Lynn smiled, it always did shake him. "Nothing, I just recalled something that I have to check at home. Crockpot."
"Oh, yes, that's fine. Well. No need to come back, I'll get the shop handled for you, boss."
"Thank you, Raoul." Lynn dipped into her office behind the counter as though she were grabbing things to really leave then walked out. "I will see you tomorrow."
"Have a good night, boss."
"You as well."
With that, the Knight left her coffee shop in Queens, dropped her things off in her car, then aborted out of the spot she was in and into Brox where she had felt the wave of Void energy. What she saw there? Odd, nothing like she would expect. Nothing that she wanted to see. Had she wanted to see Amir standing there? Toying and waiting for her to come? Of course not. What she saw though was a myth that she had heard about. Something that brought on bad memories and reminded her of a bad taste she had in her mouth from long ago.
Lucifer's toy.
How long had the King of Hell been gone? How long had Hell been reaching up its black deathly fingers to grip the most powerful of Lucifer's demons to come down and rule it? Those voices of damned souls whispering in her ear to come and rue their worlds? She ignored them. She had gotten good of that. But this was a reminder of that place. A reminder of the man she hated. The man that had not granted her death when she asked for it and instead turned her into this.
Now she was facing the man's previous little pet that gave off a holy energy that made the Knight's spine prickle.
The girl had something to her. Something a little Amir, something a little Lucifer, nothing that Lynn wanted to get herself dragged into. Lynn detested witches too. One had poisoned her before. It was hard to trust some after that. Something glowed on the blonde's arm. It made Lynn's hazel eyes narrow. What was this strange child? And why was she in some rickety dank alleyway over.. what in the hell even was that thing there? It smelled foul, looked worse.
Lynn bristled a moment, shook her head to empty it; then cleared her throat casually. No power pulsated off of her. She felt no threat of the girl here; only curiosity that Amir loved to play off of when she was nothing but a little dupeable thing. One easily swayed. Easily rebellious. Times changed, as did she.
Now she wished to know if this were a pawn or not. And if not, then why was she here?
"You girl." She spoke in her Italian accent to the blonde void touched woman. "You were once Lucifer's pet, were you not? Where has he gone? Why are you here? And what is that touch of Void on you?" Was she sent as bait by both of them? Had the men set their differences aside and joined to... what? Put more torment on her life? Had the Knight not suffered enough under the both of them? She wanted to move on. Be her own person. They always found a way to come and ruin that, didn't they?

[You know me too well...You know how much I love summer vacation places.]
The fireworks soon ended and the crowd began to split off into different directions. The light show had come to an end. American independence day, perhaps he remembered that war... Though it wasn't something Amir kept in the front of his mind. Almost on queue with Ceres and her gaze, Amir took a step forward out of the darkness behind her.
"Well well." Were the only words he spoke. A pair of Arabic Harem shorts covered his legs while a royal red shawl was all that draped itself over his torso. The red shawl, hung elegantly from one shoulder to the other, only hiding itself briefly behind the back of his neck. This was Amir's less common though more natural look. His people were most commonly recognized as Middle Eastern. Although Starcallers came first and Middle Easterners now pertained to several warring countries. There was a point in time when they wrote glyphs and scrolls of the Starcallers they had forgotten.
Amir had no interest in Ceres. Nor did he have interest in the fireworks. No, he wanted her Mistress. Her Master, the woman that went by the name of Valkyrie. Unfortunately for Amir, Valkyrie was currently undetectable. For whatever reason, he couldn't trace her, he couldn't see her. For Amir, this was usually fairly easy. While he wasn't a tracker, his stars did the work for him. He assumed her disappearance had to do with her past lover, the Dragon Lord. He was possibly on equal grounds as Amir. This was one of the reasons he'd kept his distance in the past. There was no reason to dirty his hands when time was on his side. Anxious however he had grown. While Valkyrie and the King of Dragons no longer mingled, it appeared as though he'd continued to keep his wards up around Valkyrie. Because of this Amir could not track her.
"I'd say I missed you." Amir began, his cosmic silver hues giving off a radiant glow in the darkness. "But I barely remember who you are." The Cosmic King's feet were bare, just like hers. Every step was quiet, calm and painfully slow. It was as if he was taunting her already. Finding himself standing in front of the sitting Voidling before too long, he spoke with crossed arms, "Jett's pet? Am I right?"
(Hello, and thank you for the add. I'm a little restricted on what I can write right now, but in a week or so we could plot something out. Did you have any ideas in mind already?)
(In an rp add I had out. I was looking for sort of love story slash action story for Demetrius. Demetria is his daughter. Very recently made new character. I decided that he was too alone after losing his vampire bride and wanted a peice to remember her bye. He used her corpse that he kept preserved and used her body and some of his own “DNA” with a demonic ritual to have the body impregnated and give birth to his daughter. So that he wouldn’t be alone anyone and could have love. The unconditional love of a child.
Demetrius is very lonely :(
All work and no play. His job is mainly that of a security man. Sometimes a body guard. His daughter works as a sniper for some of his protection detail assignments and is very protective of him. Her character very much inspired by the girl in the Bruce Willis movie”Precious Cargo” that I rented a month or two ago. Not a bad film.
No big plots for Demetrius other then work work, hunting down those responsible for killing his wife and fighting members of his former demonic faction. Since he was part of a faction that wiped out vampires on his planet and he wen to another earth but fell in love with a vampire. A big taboo and so his former demons saw him as a traitor, killed his wife and had been hunting him or he hunts them. Big bloody mess.
Demetria namely works for her daddy and doesn’t have a “life” or any friends. So like her pops. She could use someone in her life.
Yeah my other charscter, Six, is very much a kid who uses shapeshifting to appear as an adult or teenager to hide her true self. )
//The tulpa is both. There are more than one Tulpa and they are created through others imaginations. However, when a strong enough tulpa is created it can exist after it's creator is dead. There is an original tulpa on my page that I can play, but I also play new tulpas. Ones that are created and unique for each story line and set of characters. This way it is the most relevant to the kind of story we want to pursue. The tulpa can come any time, but if you played with the original tulpa, than that tulpa would come when the call for a companion is the strongest, in that case it would be the crazy times, when Ceres is talking with the voices.//
//Thank you. I hope you get a chance to read over my page. It gives a good idea of what a tulpa is. Plot wise, on your page you talk about Ceres hearing voices. The tulpa is a manifestiation of thought and takes form from it. No one else but the creator/tulpamancer can see/hear the tulpa. Perhaps, one of the voices Ceres begins to hear and see take form is a tulpa? It would add to the destabilizing mental status you have posted for her. Additionally, if you are interested in her lose of sanity leaeding to her ultimate demise, it could play a part in that. But that all depends on how you want your character to go out. Just a thought since you had it posted in possible role play you were looking for.//
