It's a sad day for me today. My grandmother passed away early this morning. She had congestive heart failure, and her heart stopped.

  • Sorry to hear that Ty :( that is truly saddening. Keep your chin up. Where there is an ending, sad or not, there's always a new beginning. My inbox is open ^.^
    • ((paramedics, I meant in my reply.))

    • ((Sorry. I forgot to put "Out of character" in the status. Anyway, here's what happened: My grandmother was on her way back to her chair in her room when she suddenly collapsed onto the floor. My mom dialled 911 and I soon helped her get my grandmother onto her back. By this point, she wasn't breathing and her face was turning blue. The person on the other line that my mom put on speaker phone told my mom to do CPR while an ambulance was heading over. My mom was doing that until my grandfather took over with it. He kept at it until parametics arrived. They took my grandmother near the front door and laid her on the floor before trying CPR themselves. The whole time my mom and I hoped that she would wake up and wouldn't die on us. But the paramentics soon gave up after 20 minutes since my grandmother didn't respond and told us the heartbreaking news. My mom, grandfather and I shared our sorrow with each other as we knew that my grandmother had passed away. After the parametics left after covering my grandmother with a cloth, I put a mask on and walked over to where my now dead grandmother was and said, "I know you can't hear me since you've passed away. But you have been the best grandmother to me, Sammy and Kayla. (Who are my 2 younger cousins) It will just be hard for us to face the rest of this year without you, grandma. We will miss you, rest in peace.", saying my last goodbye to my grandmother, and walked away. She died at about 3:00 this morning.))
