<p style="text-align:center;">Here is a <a href="https://imgur.com/9dmwJ5i" target="_blank">Video Link</a> to demonstrate after you have read the text instructions.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:12pt;"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><strong>1.</strong> <span style="font-size:12pt;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">When you are in your profile settings, you will see this, including your personal codes down below as you type them. </span></span></span></p>
<p><a href="{{#staticFileLink}}3430364572,original{{/staticFileLink}}"><img class="align-center" src="{{#staticFileLink}}3430364572,RESIZE_710x{{/staticFileLink}}" alt="3430364572?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="710" /></a></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><strong>2. </strong><span style="font-size:10pt;">If your code is present already, then <span style="text-decoration:underline;">copy everything in your text box</span> (Why not put it in a document and save for safekeeping while you're at it), and then hit the HTML option on the toolbar. Once you have, clear out everything in the text box you see (it should look similar to your code). </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">This is where codes go from here on out. Re-paste your code into it instead. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><a href="{{#staticFileLink}}3430367931,original{{/staticFileLink}}"><img class="align-center" src="{{#staticFileLink}}3430367931,RESIZE_710x{{/staticFileLink}}" alt="3430367931?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="710" /></a></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><strong>3. </strong><span style="font-size:10pt;">Once you have done that, hit 'Update' down below and check your profile. If you have any issues, feel free to comment below in this posting or send me a message. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><strong><a href="{{#staticFileLink}}3430369856,original{{/staticFileLink}}"><img class="align-center" src="{{#staticFileLink}}3430369856,RESIZE_710x{{/staticFileLink}}" alt="3430369856?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="710" /></a></strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:center;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:12pt;"><strong>Still not working/Is this not your problem?</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">Even if you didn't touch your code, anytime you save your Profile Info this problem will occur.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">To avoid it, flip over to the HTML edit version and make sure that in your code there are no Html commands with '<' or '>' brackets in your code! </span><span style="font-size:10pt;">Such as <strong><p> </p></strong> etc. Usually, there will be one at the beginning and one at the end of your code, </span><span style="font-size:10pt;">or anywhere that your code has spaces in it.</span></p></div>Using Blogger (Quick Tutorial)https://wrealms.com/roleplay-groups/guides/forum/using-blogger-quick-tutorial2020-03-04T03:52:20.000Z2020-03-04T03:52:20.000ZΩhttps://wrealms.com/members/O<div><p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:24pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">Intro to Blogger</span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;">This tutorial (hopefully) comes as a handy guide for starting off on Blogger, a site that some on Wrealms use as a helpful aid to their writing. Whether you are using it to customize profiles for multiple characters, create a side page to tell more about an aspect of your character, or so on, this should aid you in getting started and making the most out of the customization they have there.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">1.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/byrSjRd.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/byrSjRd.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="byrSjRd.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align:left;">When you choose to 'get started' on blogger, the welcome page will look something similar to this. Note- you will need a gmail account to use this application, but with one gmail you will be able to make multiple 'pages' with different styles. Choose 'Blogger Profile' in order to continue.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">2.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/xWHpYzm.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/xWHpYzm.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="xWHpYzm.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>Welcome to your shiny new Blogger account. Multiple blogs can be hosted on one email account, and with each blog, they can have a different theme and layout. If you are making character bios, for example, you could set up a blog for each character. Hit 'Create New Blog' to continue.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">3.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/3uRem30.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/3uRem30.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="3uRem30.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>When you choose to create a new blog, it will prompt you with a window for setting up the basics. Give your blog a name, and how you wish the URL to appear. Choose a basic theme to start on- I tend to choose 'Travel', but feel free to explore the other options.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">4.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/Lo3Rln0.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/Lo3Rln0.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="Lo3Rln0.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>Now, you reach your dashboard. This is the behind the scenes view where blog posts can be edited and created. The red squiggled line represents where blog postings will be listed chronologically as they are created. Click on 'Layout' in order to add or remove some functions to clean up your blog's appearance.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">5.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/QlSR3GH.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/QlSR3GH.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="QlSR3GH.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>The Layout portion shows you the 'gadgets' you will see on your page.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">6.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/uSjFCHw.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/uSjFCHw.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="uSjFCHw.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>As you scroll down, after the Nav bar and Header, the main page is depicted as well as other options such as 'About Me' and 'Blog Archive'. If you want to clean up your blog to only show as a single, clean column, this is where you can take those portions out to do so. Once again, this is my own preferences. Feel free to play with your settings independently.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">7.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/MusjjG3.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/MusjjG3.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="MusjjG3.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>The Theme section is where all of your design and color will go in order to make your blog your own. Hit 'Customize' to continue.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">8.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/p18oYWF.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/p18oYWF.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="p18oYWF.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>To change the background, choose the option as such. You can also hit 'Adjust Widths' to pull up a menu to change the overall width and layout of your columns.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">9.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/DuYOBRe.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/DuYOBRe.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="DuYOBRe.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>If you click on the Advanced tab, the options for fonts, color, background colors, link colors, and so on are visible. Feel free to click through those and make adjustments that will suit the theme you are going for.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">10.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/tomhkJr.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/tomhkJr.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="tomhkJr.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>Layouts can also be adjusted further via the Theme Designer as well.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">11.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/g9QsC07.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/g9QsC07.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="g9QsC07.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>Now you have set up your blog! In order to return to the 'Dashboard' at any time, click the 'B' in the top corner. This is where your postings will be made, and edits can be done.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">12.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/L20yto5.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/L20yto5.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="L20yto5.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>Your new posts will show up as shown. Blog posts may be tagged for your convenience in order to sort them more conveniently, which is done while editing/creating the post.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">13.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/KprWe47.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/KprWe47.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="KprWe47.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>If you wish to create another theme for a new purpose/character design, then click below the title of your blog, and hit 'New blog...'</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">This will prompt you through the startup just like it had for your first blog.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:24pt;">14.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/GxQn223.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/GxQn223.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="GxQn223.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a>As you can see, with each blog you make, a new addition is made to this section. Currently shown above, in 'Character 2', it shows there are no posts. Each Blog keeps separate posts of their own.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/zXCyY6y.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="https://i.imgur.com/zXCyY6y.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" width="600" alt="zXCyY6y.jpg?profile=RESIZE_710x" /></a></p>
