Every mythology and religion has existed since the beginning of time, with all of their gods, deities, creations, magic, realms, and monsters.
Before the creation of Earth, the creator gods had a contest amongst themselves. They would all take part in creating a portion of land, sky, and sea, and fill it with whatever creations they desired. Then, after a thousand years, whoever had the largest following would be the greatest creator of all. Some of them ruled over their lands with mercy and grace while teaching humans and non-humans how to survive this new world. Others left it to the lesser gods and deities to be the diplomats between themselves and their servants. Few lead with hate and fear, tormenting others for their enjoyment, and sending their war gods to snuff out riots and burn down towns.
Eventually, several lesser gods and deities began to form a rebellion against some of their creators, and the Gods' Civil War had begun just one hundred years after creation. In the midst of it all, Lucifer took his seventy-three brothers and sisters to defy his father. The planet fell into global conflict. Ymir was the first creator-class being to fall, and, in an effort to regain control, the creators ordered their earth gods and deities to separate Pangea. Hundreds of thousands die from great floods and massive earthquakes, effectively destabilizing the rebellion.
All was not lost, though. Shaushka, the Hurrian goddess of love and war, rallies a new alliance amongst the angels, the Greeks, the Aztecs, the Norse, the Celts, the Egyptians, and many more to begin a search for cosmogonic weapons to kill their oppressors. Meanwhile, Lucifer attempts to overthrow the throne and creates demonic-type magic. Metatron gives Michael a cosmogonic spear named Judgment to break his siblings' halos and cast them into hell. The battle between Lucifer and Michael is a major victory for the new alliance, and they continue their efforts to remove the creator gods from power.
After nine hundred years of war, the new alliance of gods has killed several creator gods, lesser gods, and deities, but at immense cost. Many knowledgeable gods with unique gifts have been killed in war, and the earth has been drastically changed due to large-scale fighting amongst gods. Certain species are wiped out entirely out of desperation. Finally, the remaining creator gods are willing to negotiate their surrender. Shaushka, Brigantia, Huitzilopochtli, Michael, Zeus, Odin, and others agree to negotiations rather than continuing the violent war. The creator gods agree to leave the physical realm and return to their realm of origin. The remaining gods would continue to rule over their respective lands and peoples while establishing cities and economies in the name of their creators.
So as time went on, borders went up and came down, the study of magic advanced, technology advanced with magical influence, and governments continued to change. Many gods from the beginning of time stay in the physical realm to watch over their land and peoples. Although the world sees more war and conflict, none are as violent or as costly as the Gods' Civil War. New laws are voted into place by the remaining gods and deities to keep their powers in check and preserve the environment and life. Cosmogonic weapons are outlawed and returned to the realms from which they were summoned. For a long time, there has been a certain level of peace and compliance amongst established nations and their governments.

Gods' Civil War | Years 100AC - 1,000AC
A world at war. Creations fighting their creators, gods fighting gods, angels fighting angels, so on. Riots broke out across Roman territories, and the Greek Titan Cronus was sent to take control of the disorderly. In the following forty-eight hours, Cronus and his Titans murdered around sixty thousand mortal and immortal beings. It is rumored that not many of them attempted to defend themselves. Four days later, an unidentified god led what is described as a small strike team against the Greek Titans responsible and killed Theia before disappearing from the scene. Word of a god forming a rebellion against their creators has begun to spread across the lands, and angers the creator gods.

First Free Demon | Years 1200AD - 1776AD
Lilith has been freed from Hell after killing three Knight Demons, severely wounding Lucifer, and killing Samael, an Ophanim-type angel. Both Michael and Lucifer have agreed to dispatch angels and demons to hunt down Lilith and destroy her. Few gods have displayed interest in hunting her down, while most are wondering what her intentions are with her newfound freedom. For the first time in a long time, the gods argue with angels and demons in Gods' Hall about what the appropriate steps are moving forward.
Little is known about Lilith's release from Hell. A mage who went by the name of Thomas Laiñe had summoned her from Hell to arrange a deal. Lilith and Thomas then went on to visit several cities and deities and ask questions about a potential world-ending threat that has been overlooked by the Gods of Destinies. It is unknown what conclusion they reached, if any.
Once they gathered whatever was required, they set out to find two gods. Hecate, Greek Goddess of Witchcraft and Mot, Canaanite God of Death. Hecate has mentioned that Lilith and Thomas came to her asking questions about smuggling items into Hell. Beyond this, she denies knowing anything more of Lilith's plans. As for Mot, his whereabouts and involvement are still unknown.
