Long before kingdoms had names and before mankind understood the stars above them, a dream was born. From the first hopeful thought ever carried into sleep emerged Mimzi, one of the many Dream Walkers to come. Discovered wandering the endless halls of the Dreaming by Morpheus, God of sleep and dreams, she chose to remain at his side, becoming his messenger, caretaker, and occasional source of frustration. For thousands of years she has walked between nightmares and pleasant dreams alike, guiding sleeping souls and carrying inspiration to the minds of poets, artists, and children.

Though the Dreaming is her home, Mimzi has always loved the waking world more. She delights in humanity's strange habits, their endless creativity, and their stubborn ability to hope. Over the centuries she has lived among mortals countless times, collecting keepsakes and memories from every age. She remembers forgotten songs, extinct languages, and faces no history book has preserved. Yet for all her age and wisdom, Mimzi remains fascinated by people in a way many immortals have long since abandoned.

Recently, however, something has changed. Dreams have begun vanishing. Nightmares wander where they should not, and whispers echo through the oldest corners of the Dreaming. Worse still, someone—or something—has begun asking questions about Mimzi's origins. Questions even Morpheus refuses to answer. For the first time since the dawn of civilization, the Dream Walker finds herself searching not for another's dreams, but for the truth of her own existence.

♢ I write in 3rd person / Novella. I also keep up with plotting throughout the thread as stories evolve, plot holes can open, etc. The same effort would be greatly appreciated. ^^

♢ I can write in Discord or PMs. Comment section is more for memes, gifs, updates, etc. I don't write in there due to mature scenes that can happen and prefer not to "hop into PM's" during those scenes. I also don't fade to black any of my scenes. 

♢ Real life always comes first. I completely understand things come up, I am a mom of two under three, so I definitely have my hands full at times. That said, I will try to keep you updated if I need to step away for a period of time and send check-ins to let you know I'm still ongoing or paused.

♢ Please do not feel like you can't talk to me about something you don't like about the story or plot. I am honestly so open for new ideas and want to make sure that it's a fun time for everyone.
