    Everyone loves a good story, yes?

     

    This is a forum-friendly version of "Finish the story," the game where anyone can hop in and thread a randomized story along. 

    • In-character responses only
    •  Do NOT finish the sentence
    • Only 5-10 word reply to the story at a time. No word limit on character reactions. 
    •  Leave the responses open
    •  Don't be afraid to go crazy with it!
    •  The original game allowed for a "never-ending" story, yet we will probably cap it at some point and give a new prompt if the first one dies off
    • You may reply as many times as you'd like
    • Any and all characters are welcome to respond

    The Sanctum Café was tentatively scanned by hues of cerulean. Fingers lightly tapped the table Raiya currently sat at while she took a moment to think. Finally, the rise of her prompt started the game:

    "There was once a person who woke with a start, startled at--"
