Writer's Realm - February Update!

Do you miss me? Well, we're closer than ever to releasing our new site to the world! Let's dive right in.

Live Chat System:

• The live chat system has been temporarily removed. It was built poorly by the previous developers and did not meet our needs. We're planning to rebuild it and bring it back as a feature of Writer's Realm in the future. It is gone but not forgotten, and we’re working on a more suitable version!

Bugs Fixed:

• Account Creation: The error during account creation has been fixed! You should now be able to create an account without issues.
• Character Info Section: The bug affecting the "Character Info" section on member profiles post-v7 update has been repaired.
• Activity Feed: The issue with the Activity Feed not displaying for some members has been resolved.
• Profile Photos: Fixed the issue where incorrect profile photos were appearing in the Activity Feed.
• Inbox Text Box: The text input box in the inbox section now loads properly without needing a page refresh.

New Features:

• Comment Section: The "Threads" section title will remain temporarily to differentiate it from the original "Comments" section (which is now gone) while we continue to improve it. The name will revert to "Comments" at a later date. - The comment section on user profiles (named Threads) is now safe to use!
• Member Info Pop-Up: When you mouse over a member’s name in the "Threads" section or Activity Feed, a pop-up will now appear showing more information about that member.
• Beta Testing Badges: Beta Testing Badges are still available! Grab yours before the site goes into full release. - They will then disappear for good!
• Early Access Open: The site is now officially in Early Access, open to anyone who joins! With more testers comes more potential bugs, so please keep an eye out. Members are encouraged to invite friends and create multiple accounts if desired. Note: the site is not being advertised until the official release.

Known Issues / In Progress:

• \F0EB Issue: We are working on the \F0EB issue, where random digits may appear throughout the site. While the visuals may be incorrect, the functionality remains intact.
• Site Footer: We will be establishing a correct site footer soon, which will include key member info.
• Profile Layout: The user profile may be rearranged slightly in the future for a more complete layout, reducing clutter in the tab section.
• Activity Feed Fluidity: We’re working on improving the fluidity of the activity feed to make it easier for members to see and interact with posts.
