Hey Realms members! We've been busy making improvements, fixing bugs, and preparing for some exciting changes. Here's what's new and what’s coming soon!

🌟 What’s New?

• Forum Tab Removed from Member Profiles – Not everyone uses the forums, and the feature had some bugs. Since forum posts already appear in other locations, we decided to remove it to keep things streamlined.
• Global Chat System Installed – A new live chat system has been added! For now, it’s visible on the homepage, but in the future, it will have its own dedicated page and a navigation link for easier access. It is currently messy but visuals will get cleaned up when it is placed in its final home.
• Server Upgrade Completed – We’ve upgraded our server! This means better storage, faster load speeds, and an overall smoother experience for everyone.
• Domain Transition to wrealms.com – We are preparing to move from our staging domain to wrealms.com within the next week or two. Stay tuned for updates as we finalize the transition!
• A Welcome Bot - Has been created and will now greet members from the owner account when new members join this site. This should help streamline new member interactions and help introduce them to Writer's Realms!

🛠 Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue with photos not posting in discussions on Group Pages.
• Resolved the forum signature bug – Signatures will now properly appear when uploaded.

🔧 Currently Being Worked On:

• Inbox Message Text Box Relocation – Moving the text box to the top of the inbox page to reduce unnecessary scrolling.
• Music Players on Profiles – We’re working on reintroducing music players for Member Profiles.
• Mobile Accessibility Improvements – Continuing layout adjustments to enhance the mobile experience.
• Sitewide Visual & CSS Work – Further refining the look and feel of the site to align with our final design goals.
• Landing Page & Sign-Up/Sign-In Page Redesigns – Enhancing both pages for a more engaging and user-friendly experience.
• Wallet Issue & Compensation – Wallets were taken offline multiple times in the past two weeks for maintenance with our payment gateway. As compensation, all members who had money in their wallets were refunded. While we believe the issues are resolved, we are still conducting final tests to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Site-Wide Link Updates – All site links will eventually match the site’s color scheme, but each section needs to be updated manually. This is an ongoing process.
• Page Headers – Headers across blogs, forums, member pages, photos, etc., will be updated for better alignment and will be removed on mobile to improve readability.
• Comment Deletion Issue – We are aware of a bug where comments may not delete from user profiles when attempting to remove self-comments. A page refresh sometimes resolves the issue, but we are actively working on a fix.
• Credits System Adjustments – This has been one of the trickiest features to implement! We're currently fixing a few backend bugs before finalizing the correct reward distribution for earning credits (likes, comments, blog posts, etc.).
