Josh winced slightly at the volume Lucia spoke at, he was still getting use ot his heightened hearing at times. ‘’I know im sorry, i tried several times after i got turned to reach out but marcel stopped me everytime.. i didnt even know you were here until i saw you! I begged marcel, literally begged him to let me come talk to you, thats when i knew i had to tell you everything even if that meant that Marcel would probably kill me.. look i know im the worse brother ever, but.. im just happy youre. Safe, even though you should not be in this city at all.. ‘’ josh said and sighed heavily, ‘’Im really sorry sis.. i really didnt mean to worry you like that.. Daph has been trying to help me, but she kept getting shut down by her sister or marcel…im so sorry Lucia’’ josh siad as a few tears rolled down his face,  he truly was sorry. For not trying harder to contact her. 

Meanwhile Rebekah had returned with a black tanktop, a white cardigan and black jeans and white heels for Daphne,  once she changed she started asking Rebekah questions about everything she had been  told by marcel about her and her  family. And she went into detail to about what marcel had told her, she quickly found out most of what he said was a lie, one giant lie.. she did understand better what happened the night they fled, and how they thought marcel was dead for all these years ‘’so.. you really didn’t know he was alive after that night? If you had, would it have made a difference?’’ Daphne asked as they sat on the bed ‘’honestly love, i dont think so,we were all so scared of our father that… running was really the only option.. it wasnt easy leaving this place behind, we really thought this was home for us’’ Rebekah siad as they talked. 

‘’I’m alive while.. being undead.. so like a 50/50 thing really’’ Josh joked before they heard a knock at the door, both Rebekah and Daphne were there, Daphne had a tray of food and. A couple blood bags for josh ‘’hi.. Rebekah helped me get all this.. i figured both of you ould be hungry.. in..different ways’’ daphne said as she walked in ‘’jsut os you know..you three are under Elijah’s protection now, which means the whole fmaily will protect you, even Nik, he wont go against Elijah.. well not always… but he’ll make sure youre safe.  Just dont piss him off’’ Rebekah siad before leaving. Dphane walked in and set the tray on the bed josh was sitting on and sat across next to Lucia ‘’oh and josh. .this is for you. Rebekah gave me an extra ring,  it use ot be fins but I restored it ad made it into your daylight ring’’ she sad and handed the ring over to him. ‘’Wow thanks’’ Josh siad and slipped it on ‘now you can. Walk in daylight and never be a night walker again’’ Daphne said with a soft smile ‘’hey Daphne since you didnt officially meet yet, this is my amazing, brave, sweet and smart sister Lucia, Lucia, this is one of my closest friends Daphne. Shes a French Quarter Witch, one of the most powerful ones aorund new Orleans’’ Josh siad and smiled ‘’it’s nice meeting you, sorry about the spell i put on you, it should be wearing off now though.  I just wnated you to calm down befor eyou made yourself pass out’’ Daphne said with a sheepish smile on her face before Elijah walked in ‘’how are you three settling in?’’ He asked ‘’fine i guess.. look..uhm.. i dont know how.. repay you or your siblings for the, getting us out fo the church thing.. i mean marcel is probably gonna kill me now.. but..you helped get my sister out fo there.. so.. how can i thank you?’’ Josh said as she stood ‘’well. .you can start by staying to loyal to my fmaily.. your eno longer under. Marcel’s contorl.. so we expect you to stay with us and stay loyal to us now.. to… do as we say and give us any information we need’’ Elijah stated seriosuly but in a.. nice? Way ‘’yeha sure.. if it keeps me alive then yeah I’ll definitely do that’’ josh said and Elijah nodded ‘’your sister however is a different story, we’ll keep ehr safe… but we cant dot hat if shes not lving here, and that goes for you to Daphne and Josh… if you dont want marcel and his vampires killing you, you’ll need to live here..’’ Elijah added ‘’ive got no where else to go anyways.. davina abandoned me for marcel anyways so’’ Daphne said and shrugged and Elijah nodded, josh agreed to stay but siad he wouldnt force Lucia to stay if she didnt wnat to, and if she didnt wnat to then he’d grow ith her no matter what, this was something Elijah understood but kept his offer of protecting them non the less 

‘’Vampires can have good self control if they really try, the mikaelsons have been around long enough that their control is pretty impressive, but it is wise to not piss off vampires. Their anger, is not so easily controlled’’ Daphne said ‘’she’s got a point, im still getting use to being a vampire but the blood lust control, is kinda easier to get a handle on than the emotional control’’ josh added ‘’if you’d like, i can have a few of Nik’s hybrids go and pick up your things, Rebekah can go with so they dont touch any… personals that you have ‘’ Elijah said ‘’or..  i could just spell them to appear here’’ Daphne siad ‘’you can do that?’’ Elijah questioned ‘’course i can’’ daphne said before reciting a spell and holding out her hand towards the far wall where the dresser slash closet was, soon all of Lucia’s. Belongings as well as all of Josh’s were right there in the room with them ‘’wow! Okay now make a horse appear’’. Josh joked making Daphne laugh and shake her head.  Well done indeed.. now is there anything you three would like to ask?’’ Elijah asked,wanting to make sure they were settled properly before goin to check on Hayley. ‘’I do have one question’’ daphne said and Elijah motioned for her to continue ‘’what exactly does your.. protection.. offer?’’ She asked and Elijah sighed ‘’its simple.. you three will be protected form the witches, the wolves and marcel and his gang of followers, myself and my family will do allow e can to ensure your safety and come for you should you get into toruble with anyone or captured.. if youre in toruble you can count on us to come help.. if you need to go anywhere, one fo us will be with you as well as a few hybrid, in return… we ask for two things.. one being your loyalty to myself and my fmaily.. and the second, being that if you have ny information regarding naything about marcel and his plans, that you tell. Us right away. ‘’ Elijah explained simply, josh nodded tot hat, finding fair, and daphne was mroe than happy to spill everything she knew. Even though marcel was like family to her, he had held her cpative and never allwoed ehr outside to be with nature. Which did hurt her a lot. Her magic was directly linked to the earth and not being in nature took a toll on her ‘’Willi be allowed outside whenever i wish? I need to be with nature again. My power is directly. Linked tot he earth..marcel tore. That link apart while i was int hat stupid church.. can i enjoy nature now? Or will i be locked inside again?’’ Daphne asked the sadness and hurt very evident in her voice. 

Ver the next few days, things were calm… maybe to calm for Daphne’s liking, Elijah had to keep niklaus under control and not go on the attack towards marcel. They needed to think wisely about their next attack plan. Daphne, had definitely taken advantage of going outside again, she spent the last three days solely outside. Usually she had Rebekah with her who was actually interested in talking to her. But that day, Kol decided to join her. She was outside meditating when she felt his presence ‘’you an come closer Kol.i wont bite’’ she said as her hands held a few herbs and stones that drew in power form the earth and into her body. She spelled a blood bag into his hands again ‘’yore hunger is distracting. Dirnk. It’ll help’’ she stated as her eyes were still closed. 

Elijah sat. In the study upstairs, he ahd just been helping Hayley with a things for the baby, Klaus was still ranting about marcel,which as highly annying. Elijah looked up form his work and saw Lucia wlaking by ‘’Lucia! Can you come here pease’’ he called out, hearing her stop before enters the study. Klaus sat with a drink. ‘’Hello love. enjoying your time here?’’ Klaus asked with a small smile ‘’be quiet Niklaus.‘’Elijah said before looking at Lucia ‘’how are you and josh doing? Is there anything we can get ou? Or is there something youd like to do while here?’’ Elijah asked with a genuine look on his face. 

‘’If you havent noticed.. im not exactly, your.. average witch Kol’’ she said and chuckled as the. Tree’s seemed to bend aorund them, keeping prying eyes and ears out. She sighed and stood ‘’youre connected to the earth even if you dont know it Kol. And because of that i can feel you hunger, it is distracting. Drink. It’ll help your hunger, curve it a bit. ‘’ she said as she walked up to him ‘’you use to be a witch correct?” She asked and watched his eyes, seeing the adress in them ‘’come here’’ she siad gently and brought him to the middle of the area she was in, she made kol sit with her and placed his hands on the ground with hers over top, she said a spell and allowed some of her magic to flow temporarily through him, letting him feel that sensation running through him again.  ‘’feel that? I can allow you to feel that sensation again.’’ She siad gently as she held his hands. 

Elijah nodded gently at Lucia’s words. Before thinking of something ‘’if i may, i might have something that could help with your program’’ he said as he got up, ‘’come with me Lucia’’ he siad as he stood and walked over to her while buttoning his blazer, he was always well dressed unles sit was a rare occasion were he wasnt. He brought lucia to another study that wa isn’t he other side fo the hosue, it wasnt used as often but it held. Lot of stuff he walked over to a book shelf and took some thigns off of it ‘’here, these books are a history of teaching, i looked into your classes and one of them does touch on the history of it, and you can also use this space for all your classes, you wont be disturbed here and you’ll have total freedom over this space, so use it how you would like to’’ he said gently as he looked at her.
