One of the guys on the team said this isn't the first time this has happened, its like he can't process rejection or something, the guy is messed up, and that's not on you. You did the right thing by turning him down, you, Jeremy, the art club, no one knew he'd do this Em. So please, don't beat yourself up about it" he said softly as he held her close to his side.

He was different when that occurred, more daring, less cautious, more carefree than guarded and worrisome. But I had seen both sides and besides draining victims as our kind tend to do, yes he was a good person, I don't think I could have loved him as much as I did if he wasn't" she answered as they sat at a table. Tyler let out a breath of relief when Emily said she was still human. But that relief was short lived when she told him about Klaus and his plan. Tyler hopped off the boulder and stepped away before turning around to face her. "You can't become a vampire" he said simply with a shake of his head. Seeing the confusion on her face, Tyler sighed. "If you become a vampire, who's going to be there when I turn on full moons?! You can't be, because if I bite you Em, you're dead" he told her a little frustrated. "Werewolf bites are deadly poison to vampires! If not for Klaus's little crush on Caroline she'd be dead already! She was in the woods when I got out after my first full moon!" He exclaimed. Tyler gripped his hair and turned away a moment, then lowered his hands and turned to face her again. "No, I don't care what it takes, we're stopping Klaus, and you are NOT becoming a vampire" Tyler said sternly.
Erika managed a smile at Stefan, though she remembered him saying the same thing nearly a hundred years ago, even if he was a ripper back then. "Thank you Stefan. For the record I'm not entirely loyal to my family. I may be a Mikaelson but they can be manipulative and cruel, I wasn't raised like that, I grew up with my mom so I never even knew my father, my aunt or my uncles until I was almost eighteen, I was turned just before I met them, literally under the same roof by one of their lackeys" she told him. "They all have their own...odd personalities, Rebekah is the only other woman I've been close with that I can be one hundred percent myself around. Well until now at least" shd added with a chuckle. Tyler let out a breath of relief when Emily said she was still human. But that relief was short lived when she told him about Klaus and his plan. Tyler hopped off the boulder and stepped away before turning around to face her. "You can't become a vampire" he said simply with a shake of his head. Seeing the confusion on her face, Tyler sighed. "If you become a vampire, who's going to be there when I turn on full moons?! You can't be, because if I bite you Em, you're dead" he told her a little frustrated. "Werewolf bites are deadly poison to vampires! If not for Klaus's little crush on Caroline she'd be dead already! She was in the woods when I got out after my first full moon!" He exclaimed. Tyler gripped his hair and turned away a moment, then lowered his hands and turned to face her again. "No, I don't care what it takes, we're stopping Klaus, and you are NOT becoming a vampire" Tyler said sternly.
Erika managed a smile at Stefan, though she remembered him saying the same thing nearly a hundred years ago, even if he was a ripper back then. "Thank you Stefan. For the record I'm not entirely loyal to my family. I may be a Mikaelson but they can be manipulative and cruel, I wasn't raised like that, I grew up with my mom so I never even knew my father, my aunt or my uncles until I was almost eighteen, I was turned just before I met them, literally under the same roof by one of their lackeys" she told him. "They all have their own...odd personalities, Rebekah is the only other woman I've been close with that I can be one hundred percent myself around. Well until now at least" shd added with a chuckle. "Well, honestly...when they called medieval ages was definitely just that. It wasn't all kings and knights and jousting, though some was when we finally got to England" she began as she ate some of her food. "I've lived this way as nearly as long as my family, so a thousand years, you'll need to be a little more specific" she said with a chuckle.
