Character Information

Past: The Reign Family, known for many things as their wealth, popularity, million-dollar business, and lavish parties. Other than being known for their thriving business there was a dirtier side to everything, darker than many would expect, a darkness young Harlow was brought into much to young. Cage, Harlow's best friend when she was young and the exact boy Harlow was set to wed by an arranged marriage created by her parents and the Andersons, another wealthy family known throughout The Hunters Society. Harlow's life from the moment she had taken her first breath had already been arranged, decided for her. Women throughout the hunter's society were meant to thrive and fight as the men did, but also, they needed to fit the mold to bend and break and to their higher ups. Harlow for many years had done what she was told, created into a killing machine for all supernatural being's but mostly known as the werewolf huntress. Harlow was taken for her first test when her parents had decided she was ready to kill her first beast, well Harlow did just that but was left with some pretty severe injuries in the process resulting in having to take her father's anti venom, an antidote meant to counteract a werewolf scratch and or bite. Since that moment Harlow was known for her accomplishment in her first ever werewolf kill, specifically known as the werewolf huntress. From an outside perspective Harlow may have seemed like a spoiled little girl handed anything and everything, that she was rude and entitled when in all reality that was the last person she was. Behind closed doors her parents were ashamed of their daughter and her lack of want in being a part of the hunter's society. Harlow wanted to be a normal woman with her own life, but due to the life she was born into that would never be the case. If one where to leave the hunter society, even if it were your own damn blood it would result in distasteful punishment, and or most of the time a harsh cruel death. And punishment was exactly what Harlow received, it was the first moment she'd realized how unsafe she truly was under the care of the people that should love her the most, the two people that gave her life. The Society had become even darker than she realized, learning maybe this life would truly never be her own.

At the age of just eight years old Harlow's father made sure once his daughter was seen as fit, Harlow would go on her journey in becoming The Huntress for the society. He would train his little girl day and night in becoming the best female Huntress, and Ronan Harlow's father did just that. Harlow trained six days a week with only one day off, and that day off would consist of her studies. For years Harlow did as she was told, but as she became older and began understanding she wasn't just "fighting evil" as her father had always put it, something inside just never sat right with Harlow.

Once Harlow had gotten to the age of eighteen she and many other young women and men her age was forced to complete in what was called The Society Hunt, hundreds if not thousands of acres of land was fenced off throughout the Appalachian Mountains becoming one of the most elite hunting grounds for their new thriving hunters and huntress's. Throughout these woods Harlow and the others had to hunt down as many Immortal beings as they could, some consisted of vampires, werewolves, hybrids, and even beings with abilites and or something else entirely other than just merely human. As the years went on with more hunts completed, Harlow had become more and more unwilling, more defiant, learning the lengths the society would go because of their hatred toward the supernatural. Harlow became disgusted with the secrets of her society and knew she needed and out. After weeks in planning her escape, it only ended her up in the cellar, leaving her parents and highest ranked in the society in decision of what they were to do with the young huntress. With Ronan and Vivan Harlow's parents being in highest rank of the society, she was sentences to punishment at the 3rd degree. Harlow knowing that punishment was normally death, the society considered her parents rank and wealth and settled at a unanimous decision. Harlow was beaten and tortured for a month; she was degrading in ways no young woman should ever have to face. Giving Harlow even more hatred towards The Hunters Society. To this day she is under heavy watch, unable to leave the grounds unless it is due to a task at hand needed because of her amazing skill sets, but other than that Harlow was held in a place she no longer wanted to be against her will and promised to a man she never wanted to marry.

To become the hunter who becomes the hunted, was a feeling unlike anything else. Though fear lingered in the back of her mind, the feeling and taste of freedom topped every other emotion she could ever feel. This had been everything she'd ever wanted, right? The world was at the end of her fingertips, it had become Harlow's playground, sometimes even making it hard to remember why or how she ended up here... How she finally became free. Although The Hunters Society was after her she knew their next steps, and just like a game of chess Harlow was always one step ahead of their next move. For too many years she'd watched her father and his assignment, she'd watched his men and the higher ranked individuals of The Society from the shadows learning them and they way they moved. The runaway, the outcast, shunned from a life she was born into and forced to take the role of the monster, a killer she never wanted to be. Unlike her first attempt this escape took meticulous planning, detail, learning every move and curve of her mother and father, her brother Greyson day in and day out. Learning every guard and every single one of their placements at each time of the day, when they ate, when they took bathroom breaks, every nook and cranny they took stand at so if God forbid she got caught, Harlow would have some sort of idea whom and what she was up against. All of this planning was much more put together intricate than the first, it had to be, because if not there would no longer be a next time. Harlow would be dead, and that was something she'd come to terms with long ago. It was her only way out. Her only way to freedom, Harlow Reign would die trying before giving up.

Hours it had taken to maneuver her way through the town The society had crated long ago, thousands of miles of steel-built walls up to thirty-one feet tall in height sitting on two thousand acres total throughout the Appalachian Mountains, far from civilization. The Hunters Society did interact with anyone outside of the walls, only very few that helped aid in the society's success. It was how they built their wealth, in secrecy and power. The society was very put together and quiet, an unknown place tucked away within the trees of the mountains where only the higher ups had any indication of their coordinate's location wise. Everyone else tucked away inside laid uncertain to the outside world. Harlow did understand how oblivious she would be to the outside world, being tucked away in a secret society since the day she was born would do that to a person. But this was worth it. All of it. Harlow was able to escape her home, make her way past the guards and finally flee from the hunter's society. Harlow survived two full weeks throughout the Appalachia mountains, though it was nothing for the little huntress. Harlow brought the necessities in order to survive and that was exactly what she had done before reaching town, she survived. Everything was absolutely foreign to Harlow, from the different types of vehicles, humans, the way they dressed, spoke, it was as though she were in a different realm of life. After months of going unnoticed, traveling, using what money she had Harlow was slowly but surely was able to learn and fit the mold of normal day society, real true society. But this was all far from over, Harlow had a long very dark road ahead with many battles she where to face sooner or later.

Today: Harlow travels about the world, steering clear from large cities and or airports as much as she can to stay out of the public eye. It was the best way to go due to her situation. The less Harlow was seen on CCTV and or checked in and out of the system for travel the better, because to remain a ghost was almost impossible and all she was trying to do at this point was get back the years The Hunter Society had taken from her, remaining in the shadows as she'd always preferred. Under a new name, and social security it was almost impossible for her family to find her where abouts. Harlow managed to stay in different states throughout the country and or travel about the world to different countries staying for as long as she needed to earn just enough money to continue on with her travels. Harlow lived a life of solitude. From time to time on occasion, but very rarely Harlow allowed herself one night... Just one night to let go, even if it came to having a few drinks and dancing the night away at a foreign nightclub. To maybe possibly finding a fling to curb that appetite, to satisfy that hunger of loneliness. To fill hat natural desire of human nature to finally let herself to fucking feel for once. To only vanish into thin air hours later and continue on with her life. If it was even considered one. Was it a sad very isolated life? Yes, but it was needed, to live somewhat of an actual life she'd pondered since the moment she had realized she wanted to flee from The Hunters Society. Just be prepared if you meet Harlow to see the distance in those ocean eyes, like a title wave ready to be swallowed back out the sea the moment she has her chance. Harlow was like the wind, here one day and gone the next. I dare you to catch the little spit fire if you can, though if you do be prepared for a woman that'll forever lay entangled with your entire being and soul. Harlow will lay imprinted within your mind until your very last breath.

There had always been one man that held Harlow's heart, one man that had one damn job and that was to protect that one little slice of innocence he had given life to long ago, her father. From what was once caring strong hands, as Harlow grown older and prettier those protective hands grew distant, while another's hands had become unwelcomely familiar. Invading what was most sacred to a young girl. The night terrors only grew darker, harsher, and as time passed, they'd become more painful and unforgiving. From butterfly kisses and bedtime stories, to shadows upon the walls and monsters lurking from the darkness, little Harlow's entire view of life changed in such a malicious way. From a young snaggle tooth grin and bright eyed stare, to blood stained sheets and hushed secrets between mommy and daddy, I was no longer their little Harlow. I was no longer their sweet girl, no longer mommy's little shadow and daddies princess. Mommy couldn't bare to even look at me, and daddy became distant and cold. I was a deep dark inferno of fear, shame, guilt, I was no longer me. I was a hallow shell of whom I used to be. As the years grew on so had my knowledge, and so had my knowing of what was right and what was wrong. Although I knew it did not matter, my sense of self only made the treatment harsher and worse off. I was given two options, continue this harsh treatment or marry into the family of the man that took my very innocence.. So of course I accepted. Though the nightmares had grown less and more scarce, my demons were at their all time high. I hadn't realized I'd grown tolerant to my nightmares, to every lash, every mark, every sinful memory that no young women should ever have to endure. He ruined me, they ruined me, it had tainted my entire soul.

I had gone from living and surviving in the inferno of darkness to withdrawal, my emotions decaying into a meaningless pit of nothing. Was It wrong to want to feel something? Even if it was malicious pain and vile treatment, it was still something rather than nothing. The dark is where I had thrived in for so long, so the dark is where I would stay, even if it was the one thing that'd completely destroyed me. And then, there was you... A light, a bundle of tissue made up of me. You thrived for months inside of me, from your butterfly kicks and my womb becoming your shelter, you were the only reason, my only reason. Until one day the movement stopped, your heart was no longer... and the very womb you thrived in had failed you. I had failed you. There I was, a conch shell that echoed your existence that was now only utter silence.
