Back ground-early life- Amy grew up in an abusive home where Her father was a drunk and would beat her mother.  her mother had depression and was often times on meds keeping her even more tired and in bed. Leaving her and her younger brother, Caleb and her younger sister, Norma to figure out how the world worked together. but the parents fighting had Amy packing her things and leaving when she was 18. she never looked back. leaving Norma in the care of their brother Caleb. Later in life when they connected again she would find how much that choice while good for her wasn't so good for her sister. She would carry that guilt with her. 

Life 8 years ago: Life was happy, full of promise and joy. The kids were great marriage had its moments but everyone was happy. till it wasn't. Danny passed at the age of 7. He was born with a heart problem that they thought was under control. His passing was unexpected and it happened while on a school class filed trip. soon after her son's death Amy became a shell of herself and pushed herself into work. her personality had become a bit more hardened. she was caring but was very in your face with things. She didn't sugar coat and told you like it was. she was known as a bitch and Amy didn't really much care. the marriage started to fall apart and Michael starting having an affair that their daughter found out about and told her mother.

Life Now:  its a year after the accident that took 8 years of her memory. she is getting some memories back and is a more understanding person. She still calls it like she sees it but is very much more careful about how things are worded and takes in others feelings more before speaking. she has a better relationship with her daughter. Her Ex husband is a friend and also her boss at work. HE has helped her remember things and has been there to lean on as well as her best friend Gina who is also a therapist at the hospital. She is making new friendships and understanding herself more as she comes to terms with some hard truths, and faces new things.

a bit about her:  Vera is an actress and singer. Taking after her famous movie light mother who was very well known and loved by men. Vera never wanted to be a sex symbol like her mother. She wanted more. She gives of her time and money to people who need it. Acting and singing is great but she knows she can make due without it. It's just a hobby to her she honestly never wanted fame. She loves painting and gardening. And she also loves her pet goats. 

Life right now: Things are tough as she navigates through the messy waters of divorce from her long time love of 13 years from Patrick Warren. He wasn't the nice man everyone knew behind closed doors he was abusive in all forms of the word. She unaware he is also working with her Management team who is also dismissive of her thoughts and words on her wishes of how she wants to live her life. but he has now send out a henchman to do his dirty work to keep her scared, small and second guessing herself. But her close friend and band mate Ross will stop at nothing to keep the bad from getting to her. Patrick and Vera share an 8 year old daughter, Jalynn.
