Gerwulf explanation was much easier to understand than Cicero's. And she felt like that was intentional on Cicero's part. He wanted her confused and unsteady. It was working, but thankfully Gerwulf was helping restabilize her. Aesa was good at minding her manners when she needed too in order to get through things, but when she could get Cicero to talk about himself and not be menacing, she didn't mind speaking with him. She could see why Gerwulf would enjoy time with him if the man wasn't trying to eat him, make deals, or something along those lines. "So you have most of your clothes from even centuries ago? You could start a museum it sounds like."
The smile she had for him faded a bit when he insisted he'd be the one to help her get into the dress. Fuck. Well, she'd told herself that they had seen her naked already so what was one more time. "Oh, I suppose that makes sense." Her gaze flicked to Gerwulf. "Guess no bandage unwrapping after all. Sorry." She shook her head to try to get rid of that invisible tickle, but she wasn't feeling too stressed about the situation. It was just putting on clothes. Nothing much awful could come from that surely. When he mentioned their discussion she looked at Gerwulf again, a little panicked this time. "Did you not want Gerwulf around to hear what we discussed? I mean he does have a portion of the debt so...."
She was very worried that he'd convince her to do or agree to something that she would regret if they were one on one. Gerwulf was helping all he could, but while he couldn't say much at times, she could at least read his facial expressions. And he was there to caution Gerwulf if he was getting out of line. Aesa pushed up from the table. "I'm fine with returning here after I get cleaned up. She wasn't sure if they had cleaned the blood off her or not. She couldn't see under the bandages, but she assumed she'd find out shortly.
Cicero likely didn't mean anything by it; his way of keeping information to himself was due to years of necessity. As for why Gerwulf enjoyed time with the man, that would be likely explained later. It came to immortals to get to know their neighbors as it were, and it wasn't like you could befriend just anyone. As for the monster that Cicero was, he had his peculiarities; however cruel he may be, it didn't mean he was a monster without reason. "Yes, as many as I could. I only showcase my collection to those close to me," He murmured in response, though what he meant by that was up for interpretation. Cicero seemed to be taken to taking away Aesa's smile, not out of being mean-spirited, just to see how she would react, like poking a rat with a stick.
"If you had told me it was to do with undressing, I'd have suggested that we both help..." Cicero responded as her words for Gerwulf were expressed, the big man also gave a smile, but didn't push for that as it was unfair on Aesa. "All you need to do is ask, is he your proverbial teddy bear?" Cicero teased almost in a childish manner as he took the dress toward the door. Letting Gerwulf and Aesa have a slight word while she spoke of the wolf man being around for discussions. "Drag him along if you'd like, we should probably get more comfortable together, now that you've agreed to stay for a little." Cicero opened the door and disappeared out into the hall.
"Are you sure about this?" Gerwulf asked, unafraid, as there was little Cicero could do in relation to his misgivings. "I don't mind, but are you okay with Cicero being around you? He's... just a little rough around the edges when he first meets anyone without a persona. I can stay here and wait for both of you to return, just trust yourself and stick to what you want," Gerwulf stated as he watched the bandaged woman stand and move. Depending on her words, they'd move further into Cicero's home, which likely was going to be the bathroom that Gerwulf had been cleaning himself in.
