‘’Its not your doing..hes after me.. not you.. he just.. wants to use you to hurt me.. ‘’ Barry said gently and sighed. ‘’Look.. i dont know why hes doing this.. or what happens int he future for me to even create him.. but something happens.. something big, to cause him, a remnant to survive and then turn evil…even remnants arent born evil… ‘’ Barry siad wanting to see some reason for this remnant to go bad.. but he honestly had no idea how they really worked.. or why he would need one… ‘’look i know its hard now.. but we will get throguh this.. i promise.. you and me. Okay…’’ he said to her gently as he held her in his arms.   Barry. Sighed gently before doing something out of character for him, he moved back slightly, making Alana move her head, he smoothed awya some strays hairs, his hand landing gently on her cheek before he decided to lean down to her level and kiss her, it wasnt rough,  or forced, it was just a soft, sweet kiss. After a second ro two he pulled back and looked at her ‘’I promise. I wont let hi hurt you..ever’’ Barry siad gently. 

Beth groaned a bit as harry and Jesse led her ot the medical bed and made her lay down ‘’I am fine you two. I dont need to rest’’ Beth stated ‘’yeha you do. I cant have my future stepmom crashing out on us now’’ Jesse said making harry and Beth pause. ‘’What? Come on it’s not that surprising that id think of her that, specially now that you twoa re together.  And dont say ‘oh we need tot lak about it’ trust me you dont. You’re together.’’ Jesse said and chuckled ‘’Im gonna go grab some. Food for us, I’ll be back. Dad, make sure she doesnt go anywhere’’ Jesse said ebfore speeding off. Beth sighed an dlooked at Harry ‘’shes a very blunt girl’’ she stted and chuckled as she sat on the bed instead of laying down. 

Beth looked at Harry and smiled.. ‘’yes im on that same page as you. I want to be with you.. i never thought id be able to find someone like you… someone who. Makes me feel safe… who loves me as me, who makes it feel like being a hero is actually worth it all.. you make so happy harry..  and.. i dont ever want to lose you ever’’ Beth siad before giving hima. Gentle kiss. ‘’I want to be with only you Harry, wether thats on this earth or earth two… i dont care… i want to be with you’’ Beth said with a gentle smile on her face. 

‘’You.. are not useless.. youve never been useless.. you are more amazing than any girl i know, Beth and iris and Cait included..you are smart, brave.. and an amazing hero.. your powers are a lot stronger than you give them credit for.. and i know that we can get through this’’ Barry said to her and held her close to him ‘’look.. i knwo you feel bad abotu hwat happened to Bethany.. i do to.. but she also made the choice to go after him and trap him temporarily.. so its not all on you or me.. but listen Alana.. you.. are amazing.. wether you belive now or not, its th truth and ill kepe remind you of that.. let savitar come after us, caus ei know, together, we’re gonna be ready for whatever he brings our way’’ Barry siad to Alana gently as he cupped her face. 

Barry chuckled lightly. ‘’When have i ever been wrong?” He asked with a cheeky smile, seeing the look on Alana’s face. He laughed again ‘’o Kay okay bad thing to say. But i do mean what i say, whether you believe it or not. And im going to keep telling you about how amazing you are till you start beliving me’’ he said and kissed her forehead. ‘’Oh.. and by the wya. Im taking you on a date tomorrow night. Just us.  No savitar buisness, no work talk.just you and me and a nice dinner okay’’ Barry stated and smiled at her with a gentle look on his face. He wnated to take her out and propely ask her to his girlfriend. 

Beth chuckled and sighed ‘’alright fine I’ll rest. Just because its you asking’’ she said and chuckled as she got comfortable onto bed ‘’well. .come on..  im not sitting up here alone’’ she stated and moved over a bit,  patting the area next to her making harry sit with her ‘’you know…i have a lot of room in my apartment, mroe than i cna deal with alone…’’ she hinted ‘’if you really want me to rest without work interuptions.. we could go there instead…’’ she suggested with a cheeky smile on her lips. 

 Over the next couple days things had been quiet. Barry took Alana out on a fancy-ish date, and asked her to be his girlfriend officially. As Cisco had put it. When he found out,  ‘it was about time’. Barry basically made Alana not think about savitar that week, he was always doing something with her, even when her and Beth were at the university, he always broguht lunch by, or surprised Alana with flowers ro something. The students were both loving it but also found ti annoying at times, like when he’d pop up in the middle of one of Beths lectures. He definitely got an earful from Beth about it but he didn’t really care. Barry was at star labs helping to create a master plan on how to defeat savitar if and when he came back. Non of them still knew how Anna had managed to trap him, but so far it was working and they needed a plan incase it stopped working. 

For Beth, she had been both busy and on edge, she was just waiting for savitar to show. Up. So far nothing had happened, maybe a few minor things that Barry and Beth handled ont heir own when the other was busy. But for the most part the city was.. peaceful. But Beth, being well herself knew something was gonna happen.. during the week however, Beth went back to work, and had made Harry basically move in with her after Jesse had gone back to earth two. She wsnt gonna let him sleep at star labs anymore. Beth was at work that day, but ti was mostly for a facility meeting and her having to grade papers and essays and so on, she gave Alana the day off, and told harry to relax a bit at home or go to star labs while she had to work.  

Bethany was sitting at her desk in her empty class as she graded papers and other assignments that where handed in before tomorrows deadlines. She was just about done when someone cleared their throat, ‘’my time is not free, whatever assignment you have, leave it on the IN box and i will get to it. Thank you. Good bye’’ she said without lifting her head as she kept grading ‘’oh come on, that. Anywyas to treat your brother’’ the person siad,  teh snorted and smiled ‘’hi Barry, what do y-… oh my god’’ Beth siad as she looked up,  stopping as she saw Savitar there… ‘’h-how.. when!?” She asked as she stood and backed up a bit ‘’wasn’t hard, jsut waited for the right.. time.. we need to talk Beth’’ Barry/Savitar siad ‘’ o. Im calling ym team and im ending this now’’ she said sternly ‘’no you wont,not when you hear my story… i need your help Beth… not as Savitar, but as your brother. Im still Barry, just a different version’’ Barry/Savitar said, Beth had a choice to make. She culd call her team, or not and potentially get her ass handed to her…. She grabbed her phone and made a chocie ‘’Barry? H-hey, uhm can you tell harry i wont make it home tonight.. i i got this last minute faculty dinner to go to…i know iw as meant to come over with him to Joes.. but i wont be able to make it.. y-yeah.. everything’s fine…okahy. Bye’’ she siad before hanging. Up and shutting her phone off ‘’speak.. now befor ei change my mind’’ she siad and the two got talking 

Barry had just gotten off owrk early that day, he was all caught up on paper work so he didnt need to do naything else, and Julien was handling the newest case anywyas. Joe had asked everyone to come over since Iris said she had some big news to share. He had just gotten off the phone with Beth, who sounded off.. it got him kinda worried. ‘’Alana? Hey im back!’’ He called out as he walked in and soon set his stuff down, Barry found Alana sitting ont he couch in comfy clothes ‘’hey, how was your day?’’ He asked and kissed ehr ont he forehead before sitting down ‘’before you answer.. have you asked ot Beth today? If you ahve.. did she… sound oaky? She just called, siad she cant make it tonight for iri’s announcement, but.. he sounded.. off.. like she was..  scared of somehting.. do you think maybe im just reading into it? I mean.. i admit ive been on edge. Cause. Sanitary hasnt shown up yet and im little worried.. but.. could i be reading into that conversations ith Beth to much?” Barry spilled. Put na dkind of rambled a bit as he sat there with Alana.
