Beth groaned out of annoyance ‘’you know what!? You all… just… suck!’’ She staed and baryr laughed ‘’come on,  you know we love you, besides, you havent been. On a date since you were  like 23… maybe its time..’’ Barry said gently and Beth snorted ‘’please…the day i go out with  Adam King is the day the earth collides with the sun..not. Happening. Eeevvver’’ Beth stated ‘’not even if he’s wealthier than Oliver?’’ Caitlin asked as she showed them his net worth ‘’shut up he is!?’’ Cisoc asked’ ‘ooohhh you so gotta go otu wth him now! Maybe even ask if he can sponsor star labs.. we coudl get some new toys!’’ Cisoc stated making baryr laugh while Beth face palmed ‘’ no and no! Id rather dtae Oliver Queen than Adam King’’ Beth stated with crossed arms. ‘’Or maybe Harry’’ Barry whispered to Alan and chuckled ‘’whats this about dating me?’’  A vocie sounded as Oliver and felicity came rounding the corner and smield at them team. ‘’N-nothing! Just.. stupid crap that somehow involves them getting involved in my love life’’ Beth said ebfor ehugging him and Felicity ‘’ oh well now iim interested’’ the blonde siad as tey all said their hellos ‘’Uhm Oliver, Felicity this is our newest memeber Alana, aka Ghost, and you remember Harry’’ Barry siad an dOliver and felicity smield and siad their hellos ‘’so whoa re you dating? You finally ask a certain some one out?’’ Oliver asked and smirked ‘’n-no.. nad non of your buisness!’’ Beth stated with a rising blush ‘’oh my god. Please tell me you are not going out with Adam king!  ‘’Felicity said iwht worry ‘’you gotta be kidding me, this is where that leach ran off too‘’Oliver said with a angry look ‘’Uhm… hi.. did we miss somehting?’’ Barry asked ‘’Adam king is a fraudster, a scammer, and all aorund horrible womanizer’’ felicity state seriosuly as she looked at baryr and Beth. 

Felicity and Oliver looked at each other, ‘’actually thats kinda.. why.. we’re here..  for Beth’s help’’ Oliver siad making her look at them ‘’my. Help? Like.. specifically me?’’ Beth asked ‘’yeah…uhm.. we recently encountered someone..a couple days ago, a new drug lord came to town, took over most of the drug scence in starcity… Oliver fought against him witht he rets of the arrow team…but he got away.. Oliver got some dna form him and.. we found a connection.. to.. you from when you were in college a ol d boyfriend’’ felicity sia dbefore handing her the file, Beth took it with furrowed brows and opened it, seeing the guy inside.. it was the same on she had described to Harry at the west house that night ‘’ o.. heh.. no way.. he.. hes meant to be locked up.. he was.. locked up.. h-how?’’ Beth siad with a scared look on her face ‘’he got early parole for good behaviour.. took over the drug scene in our city since hes not allowed back in central.. but.. we think he mgiht have been aorund central when the explosion happened that created metas.. he has this power.. that allows him to create your worst fear to come to life, and i mena literal life…’’ Oliver stated seriosuly and Beth sighed ‘’he had a knack for doing that without powers.. he could always tell what your worst fear was.. it was a gift of his.. Antonio… he.. hes meant to was one fot eh worst guys i had ever been with…even worse than King could ever be… if hes back and with powers… it means hes gonna be more dnagerous than ever before.. and i gotta be ready for him’’ Beth siad ‘’wait why you? Why just you? Beth, we’re a team.. you and me, flash and quicksilver, the amazing duo.. your fights ar emine.. we do this together’’. Barry stated seriosuly ‘’ o.. not this one…. Antione is dnagerous, more dangerous than even Thawne was.. and the guy killed our mother… when i tell you that this one…. Isn’t a fight for both of us..i mean it.. if theres one thing i can always guarantee on, is that no matter what. Hapepned between us Antione cant say no to me..’’ she said gently ‘’look, ill be okay, besides.. im faster than you anyways.. and i got more fire pwoer… ill be fine.. just stay int he city…away form this fight Barry.. I mean it’’ Beth siad before wlaking off with Oliver and Felicity

Barry didnt argue with everyone but he hated letting Bethany go at this alone, specially with this ex of hers…’’i know youre all right.. but.. i cant help but worry…’’ Barry said ‘’it’ll be okay, besides i can always keep tabs on her more than you can anywyas’’ cisoc stated with a cheeky grin before they all got busy again. Beth made a couple calls to the university before texting Alana who shed be shadowing while she was awya, she had a sub for her class anwyyas, so it was fairly easy to get the time off and have Alana with the sub.

After a month away, Beth was now back, she had lighter coloured hair than before, but the most notable change was the fact that she had three long gashes going from just above her left brow, going down across her eye to the top of her cheek bone and one smaller gash just a over the right side of her upper lip… over the last month, her fight with Antonio had been. Dnagerous.. bloody.. and.. killer…she had done thigns she swore shed never do, like physically take someone’s life.. but unfortunately the fight ended when she killed Antonio in order to save Olivers life… olver and the arrow team, though greatful, were worried about Bethany and sent a message to Barry the day of her return, warning him that Behtr might not be the same she was when she left… 

Barry,  over the last month had tried ot get in touch with anyone in star city, but no one answered.. he had a hard time with staying focused, specially as flash because he was constantly worried about Bethany…but he kept doing what he had been doing for the last few years, he would go to work, and then go be flash, with Alana or frost or both helping him on different things.training with Alana had been going better than expected. That day Barry, Cisco, Caitlin Harry, Joe and Alana, were tlaking about their most recent jewel their meta, who seemed to have a power that allwoed him to slow down time. Which was kinda annoying. Just as Barry was tlaking abotu a potential plan, his phone buzzed,  he stopped and grabbed it and frowned. ‘’What’s is it?’’ Joe asked ‘’Uhm.. Beth… shes alive… thank god.. shes coming home today.. but.. Oliver.. he’s warning us.. that Beth might not be herself, or as she was when she left.. he says some dark things happened ot her.. and.. he told us to be careful’’ Barry siad wiht worry ‘’that’s not good.. i hope she’s okay’’ Caitlin said gently before Ciscos monitor went off ‘’hey, shes here’’ he siad and Barry sighed.

It wasnt long before Bethany showed up, she wore, black ripped jeans, a black tight crop top, black and silver boots that matched her black leather and silver jacket and dark shades. Her hair was in lose messy curls as he walked in with ehr duffle bag ‘’Beth! You’re back!’’ Joe siad and walke dup to her as she removed her glasses ‘’alive and well.. for the most part’’ she siad softly,  before htey hugged.. Barry sucked in a breath as he saw his sisters face.. the still healing scars very evident on her… ‘’you.. you’re hurt’’ Caitlin said and Beth hummed a bit ‘’hmm? These? Ah it’s nothing.. should see the other guy…he has it worse’’ Beth said, her voice pretty dull sounding ‘’worse how? Cause those look gruesome’’ Cisco said as he hugged her after Caitlin ‘’worse like, hes dead…. Buried.. six feet deep’’ she said with a dull almost lifeless look in her eyes ‘’Beth.. are you.. okay?’’ Barry asked. Gently ‘’depends on your definition of ‘okay’.. do you mean, am i okay with the fact i ripped a guys heart out… oorrr okay as in ill physically heal one day?’’ She asked back making the room go silent ‘’answer.. no to both… these.. wont heal…this.. is as far as they’ll heal…as for Antonio.. well… I’ll never be okay with ripping his heart out.. but.. if i hadnt.. both me and Oliver would be dead and he’d be alive… so.. i have no choice butto be okay with it’’ she stated sternly and almost angrily…’’im sorry.. i.. i didnt want to upset you’’ Barry siad gently as he took Beth into his arms, she closed her eyes and sighe dbefore hugging him back ‘’yeah well.. you didnt know.. so cant blame you’’ she mumbled into her brothers shoudler and sighed again. 

Beth looked at Harry when he spoke and gave him a small smile, though anyone whos anyone could see the smile wasnt really.. real.. it didnt reach her eyes, it felt mroe forced ‘’thanks Harry’’ she. Siad gently before they hugged, she looked at Alana and smiled ‘’nice hair cut. Suits you better than super long’’ she complimented and hugged her gently befoe pulling away ‘’we were worried,  i even tried to vibe you but couldnt. Frost was ready to storm the city’’ Cisco. Said ‘’yeah.. i know… i blocked you from doing it… ‘’ Beth said coldly ‘’why?’’ Barry asked a bit confused as to why shed do that ‘’because it wasnt any of your business as to what was going on. When. Someone says they need to do something without you, you listen. And respect it. Not try to have someone have a vision to. Appease your ego’’ Beth said a bit rudely ‘’Beth.. hey, you dont need to be rude. We’ve all bene worried sick about you…specially after the news came out saying star city was enduring an all our war’’ joe stated seriously, Beth sighed and rubbed her eyes like she was tired.. Barry could see how drained she was..he had to wonder what exactly happened ‘’i.. im. Sorry.. i dont.. know where that came from’’ Beth said softly and sighed ‘’why dont you sit.. and maybe.. .tell us what happened’’ joe said and grabbed her a chair, Beth sighed again but nodded ‘’why dont you start from the begining’’’ Barry said gently before he sat down too ‘’okay.. well…to start off, i got my ass handed to me rather quickly… i went under cover,didnt want to expose myself. As quicksilver to quickly… so i went into Antoni’s hideout.. he of course was shocked ot. See me.. then happy… then.. very very angry…we talked.. or rather i tlaked and he screamed… he uh..atatcked me before i could really defend myself… i used my power of lgiht to blind him and get him off of me, then i. Ran out of there using my. Speed.. needless to say first. Encounter didnt go well.. after that.. it was.. hell, chaos erupted, it. Was me and team arrow,versus Antonio and team hellspawn.. thats what i called them….for a full month we fought.. everyday it was something new,  us stopping Antonio from selling drugs, or stealing, or trying to kill someone.. fighting him and his goons.. it wears non stop. .tooka toll on us all…Oliver.. h-he.. uh.. he.. got hurt pretty badly one day… because Antonio used his power on him… made him… live out his worst. Fear… after that i went out on my own.. couldnt risk it anymore… i nearly died three times..got hurt a lot… hence the scars and whatever… but… uhm… a couple days ago… things.. things, they came ot a big standoff between me and Antonio.. we. Almost leveled half the city… he used his power on me.. and.. i.. went nuts… i dont recall what the fear was… or what i did or said… but.. it wasn’t pretty… in the end.. i.. i uh…i did something i said id never do.. i.. as a hero… t-took his life..i.. uh.. i killed him.. m-my hand.. vibrated into his chest andi grabbed his heart… i ripped it out right there.. and i just stood there… no shock.. no… anger or sadness or.. hate for myself.. i just.. stood there until Oliver came and got me…after that I took a couple days to just sit with what i had done before coming back here’’ Beth said as she explained what had a happened, some tears had fallen and her voice shook.. but she told them the short version anyways. 

Barry didnt say anything as Alana, Harry JJoe and Caitlin. Spoke up, he could see on his sisters face that she didnt belive a word they were saying, how it was eating her up inside…after all they ahd bene throguh… he knew this could make or break her… so he did something that was surely going to ahve everyone pissed at him for a moment. Or two… ‘’Bethany’’ Barry said as he wheeled himself over to her and sat right infront of her, joe moved the others back, knowing one of barrrys famous talks was about to come… ‘’You’re right.. hero’s dont kill… at least.. we’re not meant to..so yeah.. in that moemnt,int hat split desicion moment.. you stopped being a hero..you weren’t quicksilver.. you werent a hero when you ripped that guys heart out… you.. you were Bethany Allen…you were you.. you killed someone…with your bare hands.. you took someone’s life..sure he was a very evil guy, he was one of the worst you have faced, maybe even worse than hunter… ‘’Barr siad gently, not raising is voice, or anything he took her hands and sighed ‘’it happened.. hes dead and your alive.. now get over it. You killed him.. get over it. Move on. And hold your head up high. Dont think about the hundreds of people you may have just saved from him.. be selfish.. admit that youre happy it was you who lived and not him and move on. Because you being upset over it, wont do shit to help you… so.. go home..rest.. sleep.. and tomorrow.. move on’’ Barry said sternly, Beth stayed silent, as did the others before htey heard her sigh ‘’i so hate….when youre right int here stupid lil pep talks of yours’’ Beth stated befor ehugging her brother ‘’hey their my real gift. Get use to it’’ Barry siad and chuckled, making everyone seem to let go fo the breath they were holding.. ‘’I guess i should go home.. i need to do laundry and shower.. and eat’’ Beth said and sighed as they stood up. ‘’why not let harry take you home huh?’’ Caitlin suggested with a knwoing look in her eyes as she looked at Harry and slightly nodded for him to do it wihtout arguing ‘’oh its fine i can just run home,im sure youre all busy anywyas’’ Beth said ‘’nope not at all. Harry doesnt mind anwyas! Right harry!?’’ Cusco said before shooing them both away and sneakily high fiving caitlin. Barry chuckled and sighed ‘’that was.. a bit mean of you Barry. Im surpsied you went that way’’ joe siad and patted him ont he shoulder ‘’yeah well.. she’s my twin, we think alike and sometimes.. the meaner pep talks works better than everyone saying ‘it’s okay’ or ‘you did what you had to’.. Beth sometimes needs that harsh slap of relaity in order to get herself out of her head…’’ Barry siad with a shrug and crossed his arms.
