Kendra smiled softly at Elijah and leaned her face into his gently hand. ‘’I guess i never realized till now how much I missed you.. youre brother is Ann ass by the way for making me forget… bu.. i understand why.. so Mikael couldn’t find out form me…’’ she siad softly… though she was stupidly pissed that she was rocked to forget the guy. She loved.. she also understood the desire to protect ones siblings…but she still hated laur’s regardless… ‘’im glad youre back though… even if damon isnt your biggest fan.. he’ll let it go if he understands why i cant and wont let you go again…’’ she said gently before something popped into ehr head..’’come with me’’ she said ebfore dragging him upstairs to her room and making him sit on her bed while she dug aorund in her massive closet.. she had kept almost everyhting shes ever owned fomrt he last 160 plus years.. she didn’t really part with much…’’ AH HA! FOUND IT! ‘’ she stated happily and came back ou with a large wooden box and jumped onto her bed ‘’now i know its in here… ‘’ she muttered as she dug around before pulling out a old worn red velvet ring box with the initials E.Mon it and opened it, reveling a note that said ‘be mine for eternity. Even when apart -E.M’ ‘’if i remember correctly this was form you wasnt it? I found it in my things in 1919. Of course now I realized i never knew hwo gave it to me cause your brother compelled it away…but.. im assuming it was form you’’ she said gently as she opened the box to revel a engagement ring inside.
Stefan smiled gently fomr where he was against the door frame, arms crossed as he listened to Zara ‘’honestly.. our family is…dysfunctional.. the dynamics arent really there.. even though each of us likes to play’boss’. no one really fits in.. ever.. its messy, drama filled, theres yelling, tears, fightings,someone usually gets punched… Damon is.. Damon,he’ll tease you.. mess with yu,diss you.. yell, and he’ll take things to far.. but he does car.e. Sometimes… Kendra.. she’ll be there for you throguh everything,and then she’ll probably tell you how stupid you are while saying how she loved the chaos.. shes reckless,annoying..but she loves like no tomorrow.. as for me.. ive got issues with human blood i become crazy and wild when i have it.. usually my emotions get turned off at some point…but.. besides that.. ill look out for you.. ill help wher ei cna.. ill stick up for you.. il treat you with kindness, but ill tell you if youre being to much… as for you… i think all we need form you.. is jsut.. to be you..be Zara..whoever that is.. be.. the.. ‘Raven queenm’ if we arent listening to you.. just be you.’’ He said gently ‘’as for your demons… we all got them..yeah sure you got more of em.. but.. we’re here to help you if you ever wnat us too. Demons arent something torun from. .trust me.. runing opens t help to much.. so.. if you need us.. we;re here’’ stefan said gently and with a reassuring look on his face.
Elijah smiled softly at Kendra as he thumb stroked her cheek "I'm not overly worried about your brothers Kendra, they cannot kill me, but I know you care for them and do not wish them harm, respectfully for you" he said gently. "Although I wouldn't hold it against you for hating my family, especially Niklaus" he gently teased. Elijah followed Kendra upstairs to her room, briefly glancing as he saw Stefan and Zara talking at a room next to Kendra's. Elijah smoothed out his suit as he sat on the edge of Kendra's bed, watching as she dug through a box. "You kept that? All this time?" Elijah asked in surprise as he picked up the small ring box and looked at it. "I had hidden it away in your room the night of the opera, I planned to propose after the event until....until my father muddled things" he admitted.
Zara couldn't help the mildly mischievous smile that formed on her face when Stefan described how things went around the place. "Sounds exhausting. And fun" she teased a bit. Zara smiled more sincerely at what Stefan said about being herself, no one in her life had ever told her that besides her mother. Zara didn't realized she'd put a hand on his arm "Thank you Stefan. After centuries of being shunned and killing those who do so, it's odd but it's...nice to be accepted for who and what I am" she said softly. Zara for whatever reason kissed his cheek quickly before going into her new bedroom.
Kendra shrugged a bit when Elijah asked her about keeping it ‘’I figured if someone left it for me.. it was for a reason.. i figured i would figure it out one day.. and if you havent noticed, im a bit of a hoarder when it comes to things i like. I still have dresses from the freaking 1800’s that i love. So yeah.. i kept this’’ she siad gently and chuckled. When she heard what Elijah was planning to do with the ring, she smiled a bit befire taking the ring and slipping it on her finger ‘’in a way.. you kinda already did.. and my answer just so you know.. would be a yes.. always’’ she said and chucked before kissing his cheek gently. Even though her memories had been taken form her, and they had spent decades apart.. she couldnt help the giddy in love feeling she was getting.. knowing and fully remembering what they shared, t brought back that love she had for him…
‘’You dont have to thank me Zara’’ he siad with a look and a shrug. He did smile again when she kissed his cheek, if he could blush like a mad man, he would be doing tat right about now. ‘’Like i said before… we’re not gonna judge you for your past, or who or what you are.. just be yourself.. trust me.. you’ll feel right at home once you do’’ he siad and chuckled ‘’oh but ther eis one rule, its a strict rule damon enforces.. do not.. under any circumstances ever.. touch the vanilla ice cream in the freezers…i mean ever. It sounds ridiculous but it’s the only human food Kendra does and she will go feral on you if you touch it. I mena it.. stay away from that one’’ stefan siad and chuckled a bit ‘’there is blood bags int he two deep freezers int he basement i you need any… there is a smaller freezer down ther ethat i tend to use to store the animal blood i drink too just so you know.. anything witchythat you may need, there is a small closet in my room that keeps all of it so feel free to go in there anytime you need somethign form it. Other than that the house is pretty much free range. So do whatever you need to’’ he said and shrugged again.
Elijah even though he heard what Kendra said, he thought she would have tossed something so strange to her away a long time ago. Elijah chuckled softly when Kendra reminded him how much of a hoarder she was. "Yes I do recall you kept quite the collection of anything you favored" he teased a bit at her. Elijah wanted to be absolutely overjoyed that Kendra would still say yes to marrying him one day, but it had been a century since his brother took her memories and they fled New Orleans. "Perhaps. But a century can change people Kendra, I have lived through ten of them, we dont even know if we're the same people we each fell in love with, as much as we want to be" he admitted to her.
Zara wasn't sure if Stefan's words would hold true in the future, if they saw her darker side, it could cause alot of problems for them and the town, and even the surrounding ones. When Stefan mentioned to rule of Kendra's vanilla ice cream, she rose a brow and turned to him. "You're joking right? She eats vanilla? Gross" she remarked with a mock gagging motion. "If i eat ice cream it HAS to be chocolate, SMOTHERED in thick hot fudge not that over sweet chocolate sauce crap" she remarked. Zara nodded simply at what Stefan told her about the blood both human and animal and he had witch stuff in his room. She wasn't used to holding a conversation so long, it felt...odd to her.
Kendra looked at Elijah for second before taking his hand in hers, when you came to town, before th emery stuff… my first thought of you.. was ’wow hes good looking’ ‘’ Kendra said and chuckled, making Elijah smile and laugh ‘’then every time we interacted, even if i was snarky to-you… something in me kept.. stirring… it woke up feelings in me hat i literally didnt think i ever had in me to begin with.. now im understanding that those feelings, that i had back then and now.. one in the same.. they didnt change.. sure we mgiht have as people, have changed.. but my feelings for you.. very obviously.. have not.. and if you dont want to.. rushinto anything.. or… if you want to wait till Nikki is dealt with then we can do that too’’ she siad gently, she remembered how Niklaus hated when she called him Nikki, it made her laugh internally of course
Stefan chuckled a bit at Zara’s ice cream comment ‘’I’ll keep that in mind, might have to go shopping tomorrow to make sure you ahve al that’’ he siad and chuckled. Seeing her slight discomfort at the long conversation he sighed a bit, ‘’well ill uh.. let you get to settling in, if youneed anything, or need to know where any of the good shops are,you can ask me or Kendra for help. She’ll probably know mroe about the clothing stuff and the bedroom stuff than i do.. but I’ll help where i can’’ he siad to her and stropped leaning against the doorframe ‘’and Zara… thanks.. for helping us today. I really appreciate what you did for my sister. Means a lot to me.’’ He said gently and smield at her ‘’well.. goodnight’’ he said before he started to turn away and leave to go to his won room and turn inf or the evening.
