over the next month, Anastasia had formulated the perfect plan for Kara, she worked for two weeks, using mostly steve blood as it was the best version of the super Solider serum, she did have Bucky’s sample form the night he left but it was to corrupted to use fully. Thankfully, Steve’s was just what she needed and after two week she finally had the correct formula to give to Kara.. the first couple days after giving Kara the serum, was hell, her cells were basically at war,Anna had to keep her in the oasis and int he water since it helped keep her body temperature regulated… over a week, Anna stayed by Kara’s side in the oasis, and soon enough the girl was cured.. which made Anna sig in relief, once Kara was good, Anna took some ime too focus on her work since she was behind.. but things were running smoothly now. The day bucky was to come abck home, Anna decided to take he day off too se dhim return, she was tlaking to Natasha, but she kept feeling someone looking at her, glancing over at steve every so often, she noticed him looking at her rather than talking to sam.

Bucky over the last month had been put throguht he ring, both mentally,emotionally and physically, while in wakanda, he ahd his memory messed with so much that it would take two or three days at a time to recover depending on ho deep they went.. they had gotten at least 70% of his memories back. But there were some that were just totally gone and wiped form his mind.. but ti was better than having bits and peices. What was even betetr was that they had made him a new arm, this one looked, and felt like a real arm. It was still mechanical, and metal under the realistic silicone sleeve but it was no longer something form hydra that he felt held him bck a bit… it had all the same thigns his old one had, it was just.. better.. he had changed a bit too,he was happier, calmer, and had even cut his long hair. He arrived at the compund with happy helping with his couple of bags,.once they walked intot he living room every said ‘welcome back’ loudly, he laughed and smiled ‘’wow, glad to eye i was missed’’ He joked and chuckled.
Steve had taken Bucky to Wakanda and stayed for a day or two so Shuri could explain what was going to happen. Not only were they attempting to unfold his suppressed memories, but to remove what hydra programmed into his head like the code words Zemo had once used. Even after Steve returned to New York, Shuri kept him updated on what they were doing and Bucky's progress. Shuri had developed an algorithm she used on his brain while keeping Bucky in cryo statis so he wouldn't experience trauma from someone meddling with his brain. After a week or two of that it was alot of self help books and meditation to increase what her algorithm did. A week before Shuri cleared Bucky to return, Ayo took him far into the woods to test him on the winter soldier code words. Steve had wanted to be there, but the Dora milaje had declined his request in case it failed. Steve was just glad that didnt happen and his old friend was home as they saw Happy pull the car up front, Sam was there talking to him, but Steve for some reason kept glancing over at Ana.
Over the past month, Kara hadnt heard alot from Bucky, but she understood he had work to be taken care, and so did she. The last two weeks of that month had been hell for her. Once Ana got everything figured out, the serum wouldn't allow her cells to regulate, her body was fighting it, the vampire cells were fighting it and it was excruciating. Kara had been in the oasis for so long, she nearly forgot what being out of water was like. Before the serum she had her hair somewhat darkened, just not such a bleach blonde color, and it was cut not long like before. Kara had asked Friday to inform her if something was happening, otherwise she was in the oasis. "Miss Romero, Sargent Barnes has returned" Friday announced and Kara quickly stood in the water. "What!? Why didn't anyone freaking tell me!" She exclaimed. Kara quickly got out and wrapped a towel around herself, hurrying to get dried off and put her clothes back on, when in private in the oasis she tended to bathe in the waters nude.
