Was he potentially jealous of the idea of Ana finding someone that wasnt him? If it was, that only meant one thing, that he was falling for her, but how could he do that to her? Love her and leave her in death? Steve didnt like that idea of him growing old and dying while she lived on for centuries more while he rotted in the ground.

Steve blinked and looked at the man "We didn't exactly have greek food back in my time, not in America anyways and I hadnt had the opportunity to try it until today" he admitted as he was somehow forced to sit down. "Ma! That's all muscle not bones!" One of the lady's daughters commented. Steve sighed and looked at Ana, shaking his head with a sarcastic pointed expression and smiled. Of course Steve didn't argue as the others began putting food on his plate, it looked amazing but the amount they piled on, he wasn't sure if he was honestly going to eat it all.
Kara sat quietly as she listened to what Bucky suggested about them building a friendship and seeing where it leads for them. She smiled softly and nodded "Alright, but we have to agree to be honest with each other too. If either of us feel something more for the other, we need to speak up. You can't build any kind of relationship, platonic or romantic without open communication" she added. "But yes I think that is a good first step, and we can continue what we are doing and see if things change or not" she agreed. Kara went silent as she thought of something and glanced down "There is something you should know...I know its a long ways down the road if we ever come to that point...but you should know before then..." she trailed off as she lifted her gaze to him. "I cannot bear my own children Bucky. When a Black Widow graduates at the Red Room, around the age of fourteen, they're given an involuntary hysterectomy" she explained.
