Over the past week, Steve had continued training the newer additions to the team to work as one unit, along with Natasha's help. Things had been quiet for them lately, almost too quiet, but Steve enjoyed his time he spent with Anastasia when she wasn't busy with her work, although he noticed that Bucky was spending more time with Kara, and Natasha seemed to notice this too, although neither party was saying anything as to what was going on exactly, but Steve had his suspicions, but he kept his mouth shut. No one had been on a rampage and his best friend seemed happy for a change since before the war, so he wasn't about to ruin that. Steve did take Anastasia on a date or two, when she had the time to do so that is.
Kara over the past week had spent more time with Bucky, her rage episodes used to be daily if not more, now they were less, only twice that week did the oasis not help and she had to resort to other methods. But she also felt guilty, using Bucky like that, as much as she enjoyed her intimate time with him. At least when they were just casually spending time together, they got to know each other. Kara was being pestered by her sister as to what was going on with her all of a sudden, how she curbed the rage. But before Kara could even answer, Friday announced that Ana wanted to see them and they gathered with the others in her office.
Steve and the others turned to the screen with the documents on it, Kara walked closer as she looked at the formulas and numbers rather than the Japanese writing she couldn't read. "Friday, translate documents" she said and suddenly the screen jumbled until it was in English. Steve felt his heart sink as he saw the look on Bucky's face but he kept his mouth shut. Kara saw what Anastasia said was in fact true, her hands became fists, nearly pulling the almost healed scabs on her knuckles from a week ago. "Dreykov" Natasha said and Kara spun around to her. "zachem on eto sdelal? (Why would he do this)" Kara asked her sister shakily. Steve looked over at Ana "Can you do it? Extract the vampire DNA without it killing her?" He asked. "What if it already bonded with her human cells?" Wanda asked.
