About the Author
Y'all can call me Joy. I also migrated from the old site, but I never quite engaged myself back there; plan to change that on this new site. I won't reveal anything personal about myself unless we become extremely close. I have been roleplaying for approximately 3 years and I'm nowhere near a veteran, but I do know my way around a good roleplay session. Genres of roleplay that I do will be added, and so will my rules.
Writing Influences/Inspiration
My writing style has mainly been influenced by two of my favorite books; 'Me Talk Pretty One Day' by David Sedaris, and 'Bullet in the Brain'. My smooth narrative and humorous tone was derived from the first one, and my detailed descriptive style comes from the second one.
Preferred Writing Format
I prefer to write in 3rd person and might occasionally slip a bit of 2nd person narrative, only with the permission of my session partner though. I also mostly write in past tense, but will sometimes use a present tense narrative.
