For the month of October, we will be hosting a writing event that invites you to find your inner horror novelist.

This event has 3 chances to participate, and 3 chances to win! Do all 3 prompts to get more chances in the raffle!

✨ HOW TO PLAY:

- THREE prompts will be provided below. For each prompt you write, you will get one chance in the raffle. Want to do all three? Then you have three shots in the raffle!

- State which prompt you are choosing to do at the top of your blog

- Include either "Halloween Writing Event" or  "HW23" Somewhere in your blog title

- Tag your blog with #HALLOWEEN23

🎃✨PROMPTS✨🎃

1. Turn a lighthearted story dark. 🎃(500+ Words)
Begin and end your story with the same sentence. Make the context of your story turn that sentence from innocent/happy/upbeat to terrifying. 

Write a short story that starts off innocent and sweet, but things suddenly take a sinister turn.

Have fun with the idea of taking a situation, and turning it around in a way that we didn't expect!

2. Write a short story about your character's encounter with a spirit or ghost. 🎃(500+ Words)
Were they friendly? Did they know one another? Did your character believe in ghosts before it, and what about after the encounter?
This could be a horror piece, a comedy, or even a fun addition to your character's lore. Either way, we want to hear it!

3. Write a scary/spooky poetry piece. 🎃(20+ words)

This one's pretty simple, but how clever can you be? Write a poetry piece that gives us scary, spooky, or haunted vibes.
The poem can be about your characters' experiences or a general poem about the given topic.
Feel free to add as many poems as you'd like to the blog post- but only 1 post will be counted for the raffle/ 

✨ WHAT ARE THE RULES?

- The deadline for this event is OCTOBER 30TH. The winners will be announced on OCTOBER 31ST, and prizes will be distributed individually thereafter. 

- No 18+ explicit material. Mildly suggestive in nature is acceptible, but remember that a broad age range uses this site.

- We have the right to reject your submission if they do not meet the minimum requirements for the raffle. Put your best effort in, have fun, and don't sweat it!

- All raffle prizes are sponsored by Mar and the Wrealms admin team

 *** PLEASE NOTE FOR NON-USA RESIDENTS. We have had some hiccups with giving the Amazon code prizes to international winners. If you win and are not from the USA, please let us know and we will work with you on an alternative prize.
