Character Appearance

Charun is a short creature that is unmistakably feline in appearance, down to the proportions of their body. One thing that sets him apart is that he stands exclusively on his hind legs, unlike his quadrapedal cousins, and even finds trying to mimic they're walking patterns quite uncomfortable.( For those familiar with Monster Hunter, he looks almost exactly like Felynes )

The other thing that sets him apart, and often what people often notice before the fact that he's a bipedal cat, is the vines that have taken root in his body. His left arm is fully enveloped up to the shoulder, the same side of his face has started to get taken over to the point the eye has been covered,  and stray branches have gone after the rest of his body. However, he doesn't mind the parasitic plant.

Charun does wear some form of clothing, that being a weathered green cloak draped along his body, secured secured around his neck by a hemp roap. He also tends to wrap loose cloth around his hind paws for protection, particularly in the colder months.

Oddities aside, Charun's appearance is up for interpretation. An offical design is yet to be determined, but suggestions are more than welcome.

Character Personality

Charun's personality is yet to be set in stone. He is planned to be a kind and fair soul, wishing to see the best for all. That doesn’t mean he lacks any aggression though, quick to threaten those he sees as a threat. From that point he has a high tolerance threshold before finally escalating to violence. 

Charun also has few qualms with hunting to feed himself, the only stipulation being that all of the corpse must have a use before he kills again.

Charun values nature and it's will, to the point he's dedicated his life to protecting a swamp seen as particularly valuable, as well as letting a parasitic plant take root in his body.

Character Inventory

Charun carries a staff with him most of the time, a lamp dangling from the top of it to light his way.

Aside from that he carries an assortment of tools depending on what he might be setting out to do that day. A dagger made of bone, a small bag of healing moss, and a waterskin are some of his most cirried items.

Character Abilites

Charun's bread and butter is his ability to passify and communicate with otherwise aggressive and unspeaking wisps. He can convince them to clear the way, act as a scout for him, or any number of things. Often times he'll even have one in his lamp to provide light or a few following after him. They're complex being however, and many will request food at the very least if not a favor.

He's also got an interest in potion crafting, specifically healing tonics, and magic.
