  • Just a couple of questions just crossed my mind.

    1. Is there any upper limit on the word count?

    2. Any specific limits that we should be aware of and avoid? Like blood, gore, snuff?

    • 1. As for an upper limit, keep in mind what the reader's attention might be. If it's a novel but it makes us want to read to the end, then go for it! 500 words up to a few pages isn't uncommon, but it's up to your discretion.

      2. I would check the site's Terms of Service for what is deemed appropriate or over the line. If you have excessive gore or violence, I recommend putting an 18+ marker and warning in the title.

      • 1. Ah. Right right.

        2. Not excessive but I had an idea where the last straw was the snuffing of the MC's SO by the triads in front of their eyes.
