The Regent and The Court

• REGENT- Direct descendant of the Goddess of Night & Blood Goddess. The ruling King or Queen. 
• CROWN PRINCE/PRINCESS - Heir to the crown, second in command of the court.
• DUKE/DUCHESS - Head of noble houses. Strongest Vampyr class and enacts the will of the Regent. Little to no deciding power in the court unless given rank and title by the Regent. May serve on the Council of advisors. 
• LORD/LADY -  Other vampire nobility.Third strongest Vampyr class. Enacts the will of the Duke/Duchess and of the noble houses. Typically in line to inherit a Duke/Duchess title should one be killed by the Order. Little to no deciding power in the court unless given rank and title by the Regent. 
• SACRAMENT OF NYX- the ruling class of Vampyr underneath the Regent. The shield and blade of the Regent and enacts the Regents will. The ‘face’ of the Blood of Nyx so that the Regent and Court remain in safety. Due to their public facing identity, the Order knows all Vampyr as Sacrament of Nyx and does not distinguish between them Court and Sacrament except noting them as Classifications. Exact identities are unknown, but the Order has infiltrated the court and is beginning to learn their secrets.

THE ARCHBISHOP 

Archbishop:  Malachai

The Archbishop is the Right hand of the Regent. They officiate the nightly affairs of the city so that the Regent can focus on higher matters. Often considered the most powerful Vampyr and is a Scion of Nyx. The archbishop bears the responsibility for all Vampyrs underneath them, and they must see to the maintenance of the city in the in regard to the Sacraments best interest. Of course, the Sacrament's best interests are not always (and in fact, are rarely…)  in the best interest of the humans and supernaturals of the city. 

 While the archbishop supports "masking" policies like other supernaturals. Their attitude towards others is more disdain than secrecy. Such is the reason why crime rates in Sacrament territories skyrocket; it's often easier to kill a human who has observed a Vampyr in action than it is to clean up afterward. Given the general feeling toward humans that most Sacrament Vampyrs espouse, the archbishop is generally fine with this arrangement.

THE BISHOPS

Bishop: Lazarus.

Bishop: Medici.

The bishops serve directly under the Archbishop and in conjunction form the whole of the Vampyr authority within a city. Together, they address politics among themselves and other supernatural entities. Of course, as always ;  their main goal is the best interest of the Sacrament. Often, archbishop duties that they cannot perform themselves are handled by the bishop , which includes the observation of all Vampyrs in the city, punishment, and upholding the loose Vampyre laws the Regent has established.

THE TEMPLARS

Commander:  Ana Sofía 

Templars Are the elite force that guards the upper echelon of the Sacrament , often called upon as bodyguards for the bishops or archbishop. Being named a Templar is a great honor and is acknowledgement of an individual's power and prestige among a city's Vampyrs. Templars are also those that are in charge of a blood hunt should one be necessary.

ABBOT

Abbot: Malou Clay

The Abbot is the keeper of the haven, they oversee all that come in and out of the city's main gathering space, and are in charge of making arrangements between the archbishop and bishops should a meeting require their presence.  The Abbot is the eyes and ears, they have their fingers on the pulse of everything that goes on around them.  They are the key source that the Regent, an archbishop or bishop turn to for information.
