Biological daughter of Abraham Van Helsing (famed vampire hunter) and Marissa Whitacker (witch). Only child. Grew up with mother until she learned who her father was and what her mother really does. Mother was killed by a demon. Sought out her father when she was 17, right after mother's death, and was trained by father and currently works with him and by herself. Essentially a supernatural P.I.
