Who is she? 

Lady Lightning is a speedster heroine who operates in Silver City. She was one of the seven founding members of the Heroes of the Globe, and at a young age too. Ever since her arrival in Silver City, the crime rate has been decreasing, and most of the powered criminals have been imprisoned by her. She has also defended the Earth from apocalyptic threats and helped those in need, even with simple tasks and mundane things. Due to her incredible efforts, she has earned the Key to Silver City, and the citizens have a special place in their hearts for her.

Early life

Maxine's life began with an unfortunate condition that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She has always been a happy and positive person, despite her daily struggles. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, her family traveled from place to place, searching for a cure for her condition. They visited countless doctors and specialists, but their efforts were in vain. Even when Maxine had lost hope, her parents never gave up on her.

During one of their travels, a drunk driver collided with their car, causing it to swerve off the road and fall down a cliff into a lake. The accident claimed the lives of Maxine's parents and brother, leaving her as the sole survivor. A group of campers rescued her, but the trauma of the event left her with a deep fear of deep waters and drowning. In the months following the accident, Maxine was sent to live with her uncle Tomas in Silvercity, her only relative who was still alive.

Maxine's relationship with her uncle Tomas was strained at first. He was a stern man who had a hard time expressing his emotions. However, with time, he began to open up to her, and they started to bond closer. Meanwhile, Maxine's health began to improve gradually. During her recovery, she discovered that she could feel and move her toes for the first time in her life. This was a significant breakthrough for her, as it gave her hope that she could one day regain the use of her legs.

Maxine's journey was full of challenges, but her resilience and determination never wavered. Willing to accomplish her parent's wishes, Maxine pushed her body to the limits. Until one day she finally was able to walk for the first time in her entire life. 

Lady Lightning is Born Maxine was just 16 years old when she decided to go for a morning run to clear her mind. It had been two years since the incident, but the memories of her parents still haunted her. She ran with a sense of urgency, pushing her legs to go faster and faster as if she was trying to outrun her own thoughts.

As she ran, memories of her childhood flooded her mind, and tears streamed down her face. But she didn't stop. She wanted to keep running until the memories stopped hurting. She didn't pay attention to her surroundings as she ran. She passed by cars, and even a full-speed train, without realizing how fast she was going

The wind rushed past her ears, and her heart pounded in her chest. Maxine ran until her legs couldn't carry her any further, until she collapsed on the ground, gasping for air. It was then that she realized how much she had pushed herself. She had run farther and faster than she ever had before.

PersonalityMaxine is an individual who consistently strives to take the most ethical path, regardless of its level of difficulty. Her selfless disposition and pure heart are at the core of her character, which is reflected in her tendency to prioritize the needs of others before her own. Despite the challenges that may arise, Maxine remains undeterred and continues to forge ahead with an unwavering positive attitude. While her impulsive nature can sometimes be observed, her intentions are consistently rooted in what is best for others. However, her inclination towards doing what is right can sometimes make her appear overly trusting.

Maxine exhibits a distinct bias towards pain, which is the result of her self-blame for the untimely demise of her family. She perceives pain as a form of reparation for her past transgressions. However, her most significant weakness lies in her fear of deep waters. During a vehicular accident, Maxine remained conscious while submerged underwater, which triggered her fear of large water bodies. Since then, she has made a concerted effort to avoid proximity to such areas.

Sonic the Hedgehog: She is a fan of the small blue creature since he is fast like her. She even has his toys in her room.
Chinese food: Maxine loves Chinese food, and she could eat it every day at any time.
Favorite colors: Her favorite color is Orange followed by white and green.

Lady Lightning's powers

1. Super Speed: Her ability to run is faster than the human eye or even a camera can perceive. She can move around miles in just an instant. 
2. Photo Speed: The ability that she calls photo speed is the ability to move so fast that everyone else looks like they're caught up inside a picture. At this speed, she can't be perceived by the human eye. 
3. Fast reflexes: Her brain functions at an exceptional speed, allowing her to perceive her surroundings with remarkable clarity and precision. Her incredible reflexes enable her to react instantaneously to any situation, including the ability to perceive incoming bullets moving at a slower pace than they would appear to others. This heightened sense of awareness provides her with a distinct advantage in high-pressure situations, allowing her to make split-second decisions with unparalleled accuracy.
4. Sonic Boom: She is able to break the sound barrier quite easily. She even has a special move that she calls a sonic punch, but in doing so, she would harm herself and her opponent. 
5. Fast Healing: She possesses an extraordinary ability to heal her body at an incredibly fast pace. Her physical resilience is such that she can heal broken bones in a matter of hours, a feat that is rare and remarkable. Her fast metabolism enables her to resist most viruses and illnesses, which means she recovers from them much quicker than the average person. It is important to note, however, that she is not immune to these ailments. While she can recover from a fever in just a few hours, she can still be susceptible to other illnesses. Her body's natural resistance to poisons is impressive, but she is not immune to them. Nevertheless, her remarkable resilience makes her less susceptible to their toxic effects.
