With headquarters in the United Kingdom, Hawk Media's presence has dominated the West, being one of the most favourable outlets due to its honesty and integrity. Hawk Media report about what people fear. They do not care about "bad publicity" or "reputation": they write about what is true and honest. Their reporters get behind-the-scenes footage no one else has and are always the first at every scene, no matter how spontaneous. How? They're just good at their jobs!

Neve grew up as an only child in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up in a well-off family, however, had the pressure to perform well pushed onto her from a young age. Her parents had moved to Boston, meaning she was isolated from the rest of her family and only had them. Her family had a tendency to move around a lot with her father's job, resulting in Neve shifting to a lot of schools in her early childhood. This led Neve to have weak friendships and little to no friends growing up until high school. She fit in well at school, however, she kept her head down and studied to appease her parents and was known as a quiet kid up until high school.

𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆
As a teenager, Neve mixed with the wrong crowd at school, resulting in a lot of reckless and dangerous behaviour. Neve picked up the habit of smoking cigarettes and weed, drinking excessively and staying out late with her new group of friends, causing her grades to slip. However, she still managed to put in the effort to avoid suspicion from her parents and gained a scholarship to Yale near the end of her senior year. 

𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒅
She was soon accepted into the college, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Criminology, but a new toxic group of friends soon emerged. Neve's college days became a blur as she was out partying every night, indulging more in drugs and alcohol on the daily. That is where she met Deron Hawk, future CEO and founder of Hawk Media. After a drunken night out, Hawk invited Neve to the firm after she graduated. Since then, Neve has had a promiscuous and risky life, still managing to get her degree and mellowing out with the drugs and alcohol in her later life.

Neve Engen continues to work as an investigative journalist for Hawk Media. She is one of the highest reporters in the industry and has a notorious reputation within it for her controversial yet effective methods. She has occasional flings with her now boss, Deron Hawk, however she remains isolated and closed off, indulging in her old vices for comfort.
